Dnarvaez:
Ever since Buhari attained the post of president, I'm yet to see him fulfil what he had been ranting about to do... Let him tackle something tangible and praises did be accorded to him.
But for now, over-hyping must stop. Nonsense!
Here are some of Buhari's achievement in his barely 2 weeks in office, almost outshines what Jonathan did in 6 years..

Beat it.

YOUR PRESIDENT IS WORKING....
Sharing with you a VERY summarized list of
what has been done, and is currently been
done...
EVEN WITHOUT MINISTERIAL APPOINTMENTS.
Let's face it, we cannot reiterate enough, that
president Buhari has no time to faff around.
This president has set a world record within his
10 days in office. Check out his diplomatic
shuttles focusing on Security, revamping the
economy, and ameliorating our national
reputation and glory globally.
● He has been to Chad and Niger
● He has been to Germany for the G7 Summit,
● The vice president has been to Sudan,
● The president has hosted the Chad Basin
Commission Heads of States Summit
● Attended the AU Summit in South Africa.
● Restored trust and attracted assistance...the
US's has contributed $5b to the Multinational
force on Boko Haram
President Buhari has similarly, done more
internally within his first couple of weeks in
office than we have seen done in the first year
of some other presidents.
● He has recovered over $3b dollars from
unscrupulous elements in the oil market.
● He is getting same to bring the diverted fuel
and other products through the crude swap into
the country. We all have noticed the continuous
alleviation in the terrible fuel scarcity...even
from 3 weeks ago. In spite of the the refusal of
marketers to import.
● Investigations are currently on going in the
NNPC. A new group general manager has taken
over. And top officials are cooperating upon
being invited by DSS to "shed light on relevant
activities."
● PH refinery commences operations on June
30. Followed by others in the near future.
● He has directed the Salaries and Wages
Commission to begin the process of downward
review of salaries and allowances of executive,
judicial, and legislative officers.
● He has given directive to governors and
Prison Services to work toward decongestion of
Prisons.
● He has held briefing sessions with service
chiefs, and relocated the command centers for
the war on terror to Maidugiri and provided
resources for the war accordingly.
He has also held briefing sessions with
permanent Secretaries about "activities" in the
civil service.

Pls be objective with your post next time.

Good day!

PoliticsRe: A Mathematical Analysis Of The Proposed N5000 Stipends For Unemployed Youths by PStacks(m): 12:28pm On Jun 17, 2015
Panelbeater:
A MATHEMATHICAL ANALYSIS OF THE PROPOSED #5000 STIPEND FOR THE UNEMPLOYED NIGERIAN YOUTHS WITH A SUGGESTIVE WAYFORWARD......falemara bidemi.

Peace be unto every eyes reading this insightful write-up, permit me to begin with the quotable quote;
"As we look forward into the next century, leaders will be those who empower others---Bill Gates...

Yes, we thank God the change a larger chunk of Nigerians so much crave is finally here with the emergence of Gen Buhari as President and Prof Osinbajo as Vice President respectively. Part of the agenda of this regime is the implementation of the 5000naira monthly stipend for unemployed Nigerian youths, this sounds laudable right..

Yes, it has been decleared that the government is hoping to pay 5000naira cash to 20million various bank accounts of some selected jobless Nigerian Youths, the yardstick for the selection, I don't know.
Now let's go mathematical, 5000naira * 20million proposed beneficiaries = 10billion naira monthly..
10billion naira * 12months = 120billion naira expended on this social scheme.
I can categorically opine that this proposed project is dead on arrival owing to the following assumptions:

(1). The Eventual Politicking of the Scheme..
Take it or leave it nepotism is an intrinsic nature of the black man, which might not likely change for centuries to come.
Ex President Jonathan actually meant good with his Sure-P scheme but it was later on hijacked by party faithfuls who diverted it for selfish ends and bet it, APC is not an exception. An average Nigerian Politician is gullible and selfish. Don't be suprised, you will eventually have to go begging a local party co-ordinator for a slot and don't be suprised, an influencial party chieftain will have a thousand slots linked to his pocket with different names.

(2). A Poignant Backlash from Unconsidered Applications.
Let's be truthful, there is no perfect system anywhere in the world. During the course of selecting the beneficiaries of this scheme, some merited applications would surely be omitted and trust Nigerians backed up with FOI bill, they would practically pull down the government on twitter and facebook with various caricatures and despicable articles.

(3).The OsunState Specimen..

Baba Kabiru actually embark on social welfare programes such as the O' meal, O' arugbo, O'Yes e.t.c.. It first looks good but the resultant effect is now O'Debt...You don't dish out fish rather, you teach people how to fish themselves thereby making ends meet..

4). Advent of Wastefulness and Irresponsibity among Youths.
The money is meagre I agree but it could still afford a reasonable quantity of Goldberg, Trophy and Orijin bottles (little money sooner spend eh) but before You lavish that which you work for, you will surely think twice, infact the Oloshos will receive the 5k cash from the guys that same night the alert is received.
The government should dispute this by conducting an independent survey into the sales level of bars, eatries, lesiure spots, brothels e.t.c, 3days after the payment of the stipend...

SUGGESTED WAY FORWARD..
(1). Heavy investment of the proposed money into infrastructural development.

As at 1989, the Ado Ekiti textile industry has the capacity to employ 7500 workers both directly and indirectly, so unfortunate kodurosoke converted it into shops.

The Oluwa Glass Industry at Igbokoda as at 1996 has the capacity to employ 13,000 workers directly and indirectly.
I could go on till you say stop to mention various moribund industries which, if revitalitized will mop off an appreciable chunk of youths from the labour market.
Other industries and infrastructure could as well be intiated and developed into international standard to meet export requirements..

(2). Avalability of Repayable Non-Interest Loans..

Of course, God has blessed us in Nigeria with intelligence and a distinctive drive for success..
The Government should provide a reliable scouting network to hunt for talented and hardworking youths, then make available this loans to them with punnitive measures put in place to punish defaulters.

BENEFITS OF THE AFOREMENTIONED WAYFORWARDS.

1). Rise of SMEs (small and medium scale enterprises)..

With the provision of the non-interest loans, Nigeria will witness a boon in SMEs.

2). Government will be able to boost internally generated revenue through taxes from employed individuals, SMEs and esthablished industries.

3). More business will thrive due to a corresponding increase in the purchasing power of the masses.

4). Rise of the Bourgeoisie.
There is nothing as middle class in Nigeria, it's either you are rich or you are poor, but if these measures are taken into consideration, the bourgeoisie shall rise which signifies a developed economy...

Falemara Bidemi writes from Ado-Ekiti.
You have made good valid suggestion but in nigeria we have too much bureaucratic bottle-necks..

Politicians are the problem with this country, when money is en marked for serious developmental projects like u suggest rightly.. These funds are either carted away to foreign bank or outrightly stolen..

So instead of politicians eating our future away, make we kuku dey collect the 5K so we would know by ourselves that we are eating our future and have no future.

I prefer Govt to pay that stipends than promising industries that would never see the light of day.

BayoAdex:
Good morning everyone, I am an American naturalized citizen and currently a studying chemical engineering in the United States. My plan is to relocate to Nigeria after the completion of my program (plus an MBA) with the aim of working in a top oil and gas/petrochemical firm, as life in the U.S to me is "monkey dey work baboon dey chop".

Please I need your candid advise whether relocating to Nigeria is something reasonable. By the way I used to live in Lagos and Ibadan, I left Nigeria about 5 years ago so I pretty much still have a feel. Please Engineers in the house and my honorable people, I need your advise. Thank you.
It is far better for Monkey to dey work and baboon dey chop for US, than for the Monkey to come to nigeria where hin no go see work and baboon no go kuku chop.

You pay your taxes in america and you get the benefits of paying your taxes,

In Nigeria, even when you pay your taxes promptly, you still won't get benefits.

Need I remind you, Electricity is still luxury in Nigeria,

Accessible drinkable portable water is still vision 2050 in nigeria..

What state in yankee do you reside, cos mentioning Lagos, to settle down is out of it for me in nigeria,

A Report I read puts average life expectancy in lagos at 54 years becos of the hustle and bustle.

I can't advise you come from yankee and choose lagos.

For oil and gas work, why not bayelsa or calarbar, more serene environments..

I suspect you are just pulling our legs, cos nobody goes to "God's own country" "The Big Apple" and thinks of wanting to come back..

If this #Buhari regime fails me, which I pray does not, I will quietly pack my load, leave Nigeria and never look back.. Kapish.

Whenever she tries to kiss him,he just pecks her on the lips and that's all...and if she complains......he says its for the younger generation that she should forget about it........

When she tries to talk about it, he says she's nagging and being childish and looking for trouble where there's none.

Now its been over a year and she been fantasizing about it, recently she ran into her ex and one thing led to another and she had a very passionate kiss but nothing else happened.

She has been feeling guilty....her ex has been calling her but she has refused to pick his call because she never intended to cheat on her husband.......

Hubby has warned her not to bring up the issue of kissing .....now she is fantasizing about kissing....

Is there another way to communicate it to hubby?
Just wait make her husband catch her first, she go talk weda na her pay hin Groom-price abi na him pay her Bride-price.

PoliticsRe: Unassailable Facts About Pipeline Vandalism by PStacks(m): 12:55pm On Jun 16, 2015
JKisOK:
Many of us live in blissful ignorance about pipeline vandals. But let us share a few facts about this nefarious and unpatriotic but booming business and NNPC's innovative programme to curb their crime.

1. Pipeline vandalism is one major reason why the refineries will not work, you pump finished products from the refineries and it leaks through compromised pipelines into the waiting vessels of pipeline vandals

2. Pipeline vandalism is a thriving business, costing the country over N150.5 billion in eight years from 2000 to 2007.

3. It revolves around a cartel that has in its fold the rank and file of the Police, the Army, the Navy and other security agencies. Also involved are unscrupulous officials of the NNPC, PPMC and DPR, and also marketers.

4. These security officers and petroleum officials are settled with over 60 percent of what is derived in this illicit business.

5. NNPC actually suggested that the government set up a parallel security force, constituted by private security organisations, but made up of patriotic Nigerians having personnel with the right untainted "no-nonsense" attitude

6. NNPC sold this fact and President Goodluck Jonathan bought into it.

7. NNPC and PPMC have come under attack and lost personnel, including engineers, while trying to repair pipelines damaged by the vandals.

8. These militants, in the last three months, have seized over 20 tankers and other equipment used by pipeline vandals.

9. Several militants have lost their lives in this patriotic duty.

10. The presence of these militants has been a nightmare for pipelines vandals in the last three months.

11. These private security agencies have made more impact in the war against the pipeline vandals in the last three months than the formal security agencies.

12. What government is paying these private guards is pittance compared to what the country stands to gain in revenue (and lose to vandals)

13. Pipeline vandalism is the reason petroleum tankers come to Lagos to ferry fuel from the Atlas Cove to upcountry consumers, and their presence in Lagos is a major cause of the traffic challenge in the city.

14. Pipeline vandalism is one major reason for the sustenance of the subsidy regime.

15. Pipeline vandalism is the reason Nigeria imports fuel and pump price of fuel is this costly.

16. Curb pipeline vandalism, and you will get the refineries working and pumping fuel to local depots, which will stop importation, and which will make fuel prices to fall.

17. NNPC is pleased about the efficiency and the result produced by the involvement of these parallel private pipeline protectors.
18. Only blind politics, those harvesting free money from the sustenance of the illegal subsidy regime and those benefiting from pipeline vandalism, will make the new government scrap this private security arrangement, which stands as a great legacy policy of the Jonathan government.
Must Nigerians get everything wrong.

Are we all bad people in nigeria?

Why should Militants protect pipeline!

Do militants protect pipeline in other part of the world?

An irresponsible and unscrupulous Jonathan administration would always try to justify reasons for its downfall.

If GEJ is not justifying? He is blaming his opponents for his downfall..

No to any form of militancy, no matter the amount of good they want to render,

They would grow into a big monster and want to over power the state.

Boko haram started out as a toy-project, Today Boka Haram has assumed a gigantic and monstrous dimension only the good lawd himself can save us from the Boko Haram scourge!

No excuse is tenable enough to recruit militias..

The same Militias America used in fighting Ghadaffi of libya were the same militia that blew up the American Embassy in Libya.

Don't you people get it, armed struggle is never the way..

No justification for evil, evil is evil.
