If you will care, take the baby to a TBA(Traditional Birth Attendance). She will know what to do and pls don't hesitate to apply the leaves or so. It is more efficacious than our Orthodox medicine.

Sorry, am a typical village man.

But this is unbecoming. That govt officials will decide to go on faceless lies in order to coverup their shortcomings and perhaps, corrupt tendencies.

The SCOAN should do well to further disgrace these dishonest govt officials by publishing documents showing approval to build from the govt.

Your topic said it all.

All our leaders are thugs. Remember they exchange blows at the slightest provocation. Amaechi and Akpabio fought. Remember Chidi of the Rivers State House of Assembly? did you remember the frequency with which our House of Representative do fought? The list is endless

Politics › Re: Akwa Ibom At 27: Recounting The Best Seven Of Its Years by psucc(m): 7:05am On Sep 23, 2014
Well one may not outrightly deny Akpabio that honour as having put down something for the State.
But just as our previous leaders, he emerges as the most conning. Let's play partisan with some level of honesty. His projects are basically Federal Government Projects where those monies are paid back to the state.
2. We are more hungry than any other despite our affluence.
3. The development strides are ethnic based. They aren't spread. Come to INI Local Govt. you will have every cause to weep for the people. Even a single road had not been built nor the existing one which had turn to a dead trap had been done despite Akpabio's continuous promises and assurance, we have absolutely NOTHING, I MEAN NOTHING to show for his 8years as the Gov of Akwa Ibom State.
But I wouldn't stop whoever from singing his praise once you have your mouth full after all INUA ATA OTONG ISITANGA IDIOK.

OP for more than a year, I don't remember using those two words in my daily conversations. In fact, they are almost gone.

Even in Akwa Ibom State where we are operating Free and Compulsory Education, for the past 7+years, nobody day mention bursary or scholarship.

May be they will make up the Greek Gifts lined up for handing over.

nely: Akpabio for life....vote udom 2015 for continunity...although am not from akwa-ibom but their government are really doing their best, with quality roads and the new stadium is world classs.....
Pls for God's sake forget the infrastructures. Akpabio built federal govt projects and those monies are paid back to the state upon completion exception of roads in Ikot Ekpene town and Essien Udim.

We are more interested in stomach infrastructure like Ekiti People. Salaries are only paid over the radio and pages of newspapers.

Next time enlighten yourself a bit before writing. And avoid thinking like some foolish Nigerians who think the West owe them any damn thing.
You will do well to enunciate on how the portion you quoted render the writeup myopic.

Besides, you more st be courteous anytime you are writing.

Politics › Ebola Ravaging West Africa: Any Hope? by psucc(op):
Sawyer was mad to bring Ebola here - President Jonathan.
No Sawyer was not mad sir. He is a patriotic African. Nigeria is the giant of Africa. We don't doubt. And this slogan, no other African country had rise to challenge either in words or acts. If so, then Sawyer was right.

While the Ebola Virus was ravaging other West African countries, the giant was busy sleeping and probably snoring. Then Sawyer came calling and knocking at the giant's gate. Here he came to tell us the trouble in our sister nations(my sincere condolences to the families of other Eboal victims).

Again, his coming had come to open wide our(the electorates) eyes. We have a government which can work. This tells us that where our government so wishes, they can perform.

Also, that Africa problems can only be solved the African way. At the beginning, everybody was jittery. As usual, we ran to foreign countries for help(only God knows how many billion dollars would have fly) but they turn us down and even when we ordered for the nano-silver, they branded it pesticide.

It has come to break the Berlin wall of religious, tribal and political party affinity that characterized our workings. Our leaders we united in one voice and act. Probably, may be because the Ebola virus is more of elitist sickness than poor man disease.

Today, Nigeria had proved it self to be the giant of Africa and had successfully cure the dreaded virus. Other African countries are now looking towards us for help. Even the USA and her cronies will now make haste to partner(though out of frustration that their expectations were dashed)

I hope we will inject this same response to other areas, it is not Ebola alone that kills. Bad roads, dysfunctional education sector, lack of employment, justice for the poor, etc are worst than Ebola and yet . . .
Christianity Etc › Re: What Would You Say If An Unbeliever Asks You This... by psucc(m): 5:47pm On Sep 14, 2014
The human desire to worship proves that he is empty and so needs a superior power for a cover. This we cannot deny is inherent in all humans.
Also, for this same reason so many had decided to take up items of worship which is varied and wide. while others settle for whatever, some settled for the One from Whom all creatures draw their living. And whose Words alone had withstood age and time, whose account is true and in which we draw inspiration that God is.

If you're still doubting or outside the gate, come in and try Him, you will testify to others that truly God is.
