Don't download the PC app. The developers haven't updated that thing since 2019, it seems.
Normally, I just access the site directly on my Chrome browser by using the URL.
For some network providers across the states, you might need a VPN, so look into it.
You can set your VPN to UK.
Showmax has no issues with UK.

With that, it'll play smoothly all the way.
