Rotfl! I saved a life yea! Saw it several times when mothers give their babies. I just figured out the method will work for it cos it's throat is tiny and it can't swallow the tablet, i don't think it could swallow a grain of corn then(we grind such whenever we run out of feeds)

Wow! Nice collection. But we never kept any of those, ours are goats(male and female), ram/sheep, hens, cocks and ducks. ....
Basics: Clean place to stay, clean feeding trough and water, regular medication(you need a vet) or you just practise what I once did with a hen while in primary school. I noticed it was I'll and gave it paracetamol and water and it became well...lolz, don't ooo . Then you clean their place regularly. Kinda tedious when there are many animals but it's gonna prevent them from getting ill and also wade off offensive odour that comes from their pen. Oya tell me thank you...

I'm not really an expert in animal stuff but we used to rear some way back and kept some domestic ones too(few left) so I I've learnt some basic things about them, could be things you know already *smiles*

Oh, I understand, no knowledge is a waste, won't mind if you share the lil you know,, For now, I'm into pigs, rabbit n' guinea pigs. I intended adding fishes and poultry soon,, Got anything on these?

Sometimes ago, I wrote here about some of the misconceptions we've been fed about love. One of such misconceptions is that 'love is blind'. Many of us have used this phrase quite a number of times. But is love really blind? If yes, to what extent?


These days, falling in 'love' is as easy as blinking one's eyes. Some are in before they could realize the door they came in through, therefore, they rush to conclude that love is actually blind, they felt they couldn't have gone that far if love isn't blind.


But, take a look at it like this, the same set of people who claim love is blind once they feel loved are the same set of people who will still rush to say there's nothing called love. They claim love is just a mirage, mere words of mouth and should be held with ones tip of a finger - what a misery!


However, I've come to the realization from some deep place within my heart that love is not really what most people think it is. I mean, how can you claim to be in love on the very first day of the week and by week ending you're already spewing those negative stuffs about love? Like, how can one say he can't live without his 'other half' and in a couple of months, this same individual irritates him?

At this juncture, I'll quickly point it out that only very few knows what they want out of life (no offense). By this, I'm also implying, majority don't know exactly what/who they want in their love life.

Some are ready/willing to fall for every Tom, D!ck and Harry inasmuch they will profess their love to them. They are not even after understanding who they're dealing with, they are not paying any slight attention to the warning signals, they are not ready to decipher/dilute the words they hear, inasmuch as those words are laced with 'love', knot in 'love' and spoken with 'love'. They are in. Falling headlong.

Make no mistake, love is not blind

Just hold on! Before you start spewing those negative words too, before you put the blame on the other fellow, before you blame and shame yourself for falling in love with that individual who is now somewhere very far away, take a time out and ask yourself some few questions.

Questions like; 'What exactly do I want?', 'Who do I want in my love life?' After you've answered that, you can now proceed with; 'Can this individual fit into my kind of life?' 'Does this fellow possess what I need in a love partner?' These are questions you need to answer convincingly before 'venturing' into any love affair.

And above all, you need to love yourself first, because you can't give what you don't have.

So, before you say 'I love you', be sure you mean it, for sometimes what we call love could be just our hormone playing hide and seek with us. Be sure it's a decision and not just a feeling - a feeling made out of assumptions or the need to fill up a void. Make sure you give it time and understand what it actually is.


Love is NOT blind for love knows where to go.
