Whether we like it or not, WW84 is a massive success (to the extent that it got an instant greenlight for a third movie).

I guess the Christmas feel in the movie will make a lot of people watch it during the holidays.

Reasons why the feminist site did not like the new wonder woman movie

1. Body invasion and rape- [/b]Steve Trevor was resurrected in another man's body. Steve invaded another man's body and had sex with wonder woman. The innocent man's body was violated.

[b]2. Wonder woman, an Isreali actress beating up Arab soldiers in Egypt- Are you aware that wonder woman is banned in Lebanon because of Gal Gadot's time in the isreali army? No why would there be a scene in the movie of Wonder woman thrashing Arab soldiers? hmmm?

3. Lack of people of colour- hmmm

4. Boring- two different reviewers on that site called the movie "generally boring".

Yea, I think so too. If Patty continues I think Nubia is the big Plan for the spin off. Noticed the first scene in Themyschria were the Dark Amazon emerged winner.
I know it was a bit of Black pandering but it was done with subtlety.

I hope Cheetah continues in the Franchise...she's too good to let go at this point.

Just finished watching this fun movie.

Cinematography was lit.
The action wasn't as expected but it was decent, Cheetah final fight was the best.
It was entertaining, what it lacks in Action it compensates in Story, Dialogue and delivery.

But Damn, kudos to beautiful performances by Pedro Pascal and Kristen, they made this movie tick. Max Lord is officially my Best Villain in recent DCEU offering (it's a tight one Vs Gen. Zod but maybe after the excitement dial down I'll be sure).
The story and delivery was great. The ending could have been better but it was Ok.

Although didn't fancy the "Donner feel" too much, it's alright. This movie beats the Original Overall to me.
Hans Zimmer is a blessing.

People hoping for incredible action all gung go is in for a big shock.

@ pu7pl3 you see the Post credits scene of Asteria(Linda Carter). What do you think Part 3 gonna be...I would kill for a Nubia introduction.

Interestingly, I am a die hard marvel fanboy, I don't watch dc movies asides the animations, and even then self, I feel so dirty, I have refused to watch all DC movies, shazam, batman, aquaman, batman v superman, I watched Christopher nolan's batman and the old versions of superman, the rest? God forbid

But wonder woman, I have watched both movies, something about her character draws me

What Karma? Everyone lost what they gained originally with the wish they made- which means that the villain didnt have any real comeuppance since he suffered the same fate as everyone. And can you actually lose what was never truly yours?

The villain who is a conman didnt get any repercussions for his deceitfulness. The villain who in theory still has access to the wish-stone. If he renounces his wish, then the wish-stone comes back into existence.




The son made the wish in the middle of the film. It didnt happen until the end of the film. This is unlike every other wish that was instantaneous.

The wish-stone itself does not suffer consequences for granting wishes. When the villain became the wish-stone, he shouldnt have had any consequences.



False. A con man knows when to end the con. He stated that he wanted to be number 1 in oil and wanted his son to be proud of him. There was no reason for him to create further chaos. His office was already too chaotic for him.



There is romance and there is disney romance. Furthermore, wonderwoman has a dry pussy. She couldnt find another man for over 35 years since WW2. Steve Trevor was the only guy that could satisfy her lol......wetin happen to superman's super penis.

The ending was quite silly. The positive christmas spirit when there was chaos days before lol.

I can agree that the romance was the biggest strenght of the movie, it was also too much.





Pacing and action are different things. The pacing was off. There were slow downs in certain scenes.

The action too was a bit too little. How can one have so much power only not to use it? The Joker can get away with little action because no one has superpowers in the movie. But wonderwoman has many powers- lasso of truth, super-strenght, super durability, healing factor, power bracelets, atheleticism etc.




There is still more-
1. Unnecessary wokeness- as usual, all the men in the movie are assholes except steve trevor (the actress's bae). Toxic feminism
2. Unnecessarily remixing Cheetah's origin story
3. Weak soundtrack. I was expecting so many old school beats from 1980-1990. See stranger things, Anna and Atomic blonde.
4. How did Steve Trevor get his watch back (because he gave it to wonderwoman when they first met again

Joker had better ratings (imdb) than both wonderwoman movies with lesser action than both movies. Joker also earned more money at the box office and had better awards.

Unless you are talking about your razz mushin friends, people did not have a problem with the lack of action in the joker.


Now, wonderwoman 1984 has more than just a lack of action as a problem.

1. There was no punishment for the villain who caused untold global havoc.

2. The logic of the wishes was not consistent..The villain's son originally wished for the father to be closer to him and it didn't come true at that moment. The villain wished to be the wishing stone. But the wishing stone did not gain or lose any powers after a wish.

3. The villain's motivation made no sense. He was a con man that wanted to be big in oil. He didn't need to start becoming a global wish master tyrant after making it in oil.

4. The sappy romance- the way the movie ended as if it was a Disney children's movie with everyone being happy at a snowy Christmas (despite worldwide chaos days before). The fake coincidence of meeting Steve Trevor's body vessel at the end.

5. The pacing of the film. The first wonderwoman was linear and easy to follow with the action increasingly ramped up. This movie was slow at times and was not as tightly fit.

So much more.

Unless you are a better reviewer than most movie reviewers, ww1984 has many problems

Lol, she flies on a normal she was supposed to even be flying before she left themiscyra but Jenkins wanted to use it as part of her character development and it worked for me...the movie did well in that aspect all the villains were very relatable, they could be anyone

WW1984 feels like telemundo in that the story gets dragged way longer than it should. Steve n Diana did great to keep me engaded in the first albeit boring half hour of the movie. They took out my warrior wonder woman and made her soft. I mean Cheetah was underwhelming to say the least, but Maxwell Lord did fantatsic. I really was expecting great action sequences here but it seems Synder is the only one in DC that can give good fight scenes. WW1984 gets a 7, not bad but nothing spectacular to take home with.
