Interestingly it was a case of mistaken identity. It turned out to be someone else who had the same name who was also a friend. But because everything was in secrecy, I didn't know until things fell apart with a lot of attendant drama which could not be hidden. All history now.

Nice ending nieces are stubborn and difficult many times to talk to.It's all good

I want to get a grip on this issue cos it might affect a few relationships. My niece is dating an ex boyfriend. I'm mad as hell. This guy and I have nothing going anymore but I don't think it's proper for people to do that. She was barely 9 when he and I dated. She's now 24 and he's 36 and married. I don't know how her mother could allow it cos I clearly warned her when I started seeing the signs. Now it's confirmed. I don't want to appear like the jealous ex, but obviously I'm not happy about the whole thing. I don't want to cause a family feud, though sides are already being taken by female family members. I don't know what moral justification anybody would have to say that a young girl should date an aunty's ex so long as she's happy cos that's what some are selling. I'm I overreacting? And no, I'm not still in love with the guy, I broke it off but we remained good friends. My grouse is not even with him, it's with her and her mum who is supporting her.

Google up or buy any book on " the art of communication " and you will understand posture utterance dressing is all part of the game that if you eloquently deliver your presentation with serious eloquence even if u say rubbish u will beat the guy making sense.Trust me i use this trick well

@fragilebeing it is not what you say but how you communicate,Let me explain i was chosen to head I.C.T in a firm this week,suddenly sunday 7am i was called and asked to give a review on pros and con by 2,pm i gave the presentation everyone was shocked no going home to read or anything,Wisdom is an outpouring of the content you have in you.Jesus taught a wiseman from the treasure of his heart will dish things out..You gotta increase in learning try to study something new in your field weekly to grow your understanding.I recommend I.C.T magazines like computer shopper

Summary: I got to know about a consulting firm here in Lagos and without second thought, I decided to start doing freelancing with them, reason being that it will be a great opportunity for me to put into use what I learnt in school. The freelancing agreement was not without a baggage that I will get absorbed into the system once there is any chance.

Fast forward, recently, the company underwent some expansion and restructuring and I was properly interviewed for a position that fits my ability and profile. While at this, I was rated by the other higher personnel to be very okay in terms of performance as I not only deliver on time, but also assist in fixing some office computer systems that had software problems which was not part of the job prescription anyway.

Problem: It all started when we asked to do presentation on some topics. In my case, I concentrated on identifying problems and suggesting possible solutions to them, surprisingly, the feedback I got was that I wasn't right. I immediately asked for another time to re-present it and my request was granted. Now, even before the time for presentation, I did a pre-presentation to all my colleagues and they say that it was ok, but surprisingly when they were asked to air their views on my performance after the presentation proper and I was given 70/100%, only one of them gave a positive comment, the rest said almost negative stuffs concerning my performance.

The climax was when the Boss asked me to go back to school as I don't know anything.

These got much better part of me and the thought of coming to work is no longer appealing.
I can't even think straight anymore...
Staying amidst of people is no longer fascinating let alone being among colleagues in the office.
I feel like it would have been better if I never existed in the first place.

Some of them laughing to my face consistently is bullying the crap out of me.

Simple let someone proof read and analyse your works before every meeting I can help yu F.O.C. cos i wont be able to stand it if somethin happens to you.You can create a thread or send an email,we have many I.T Gurus here i believe this is one method another is to google and read look for details before every meeting
