I have a South African accent coz my parents moved here from Lagos, I was born in lagos and moved when I was 2yrs old so the South African accent is all I have though my parents still have about 50% of naija accent. Yoruba baby!!

South Africa is the only country in Africa were gay marriage is legal.. Either way I don't think the government has the right to put someone in prison for being homo, this is insane...nobody chose to be the way they are, so who are we to judge and decide whether someone should marry same sex? I have nothing against gay people, my older sister is gay and she got nothing but full support from the whole family.. Should I be forced to be muslim? No! should I be killed if I don't believe that there's sum1 called jesus if I'm jewish? I don't think! This has nothing to do with culture, religion or skin color. U can be jew, christian, catholic, black, white or arab and still be gay.. How the hell does someone has the right to decide who should I be attracted to.... If that's the case then there's nothing called human rights in this world...

Johannesburg - One person has died as a result of injuries sustained when a temporary scaffolding collapsed at the Linkin Park concert at Cape Town Stadium due to high winds, the city said on Thursday.

"One person passed away last night as a result of injuries. It was a female individual. She passed away after she was taken to hospital," said city spokesperson Kylie Hatton.

It is believed that the woman passed away at Christiaan Barnard Memorial Hospital in the city bowl.

Nineteen people have been left injured by the accident with 12 requiring hospitalisation.

Hatton said the site has been secured for an investigation by the police.

She said the city and event organisers will co-operate with the investigation.

The temporary structure was a "branding activation" and located next to the stadium forecourt on the Cape Town CBD side of the venue.

The structure had been pre-approved and certified as safe before the event.

The concert went ahead as officials secured the affected area.

Early on Thursday morning, concert organisers, Big Concerts, put a post on their Facebook wall expressing their sympathies and condolences to the injured persons and the family of the dead woman.

“We would like to thank the City of Cape Town, the South African Police Services, and all the medics, doctors, and disaster risk personnel for their swift and professional response to this accident,” it said.
