OK.. I don't usually advice people to choose schools in South Australia especially those looking to do part time job to pay school fees.

It is difficult getting a job here. Though you will get in the end but usually difficult in the beginning. I am telling you not to scare you but to prepare your mind and come with enough resources for at least 4 months.
OK thanks. I plan leaving South Australia immediately I'm done with studies.

I need any candid response frm any1 in d house too
Hi, I wrote the test @ PTE centre at Ikeja and I paid 50k for the voucher. You can contact the PTE representative David Fapohunda for the voucher via david.fapohunda@pearson.com. Check this link to download materials http://www.allinfi.com/pte-pearson-tests-of-english-materials-and-articles-free-download I studied for the test and when I was satisfied with my preparation, I bought the voucher and registered the same day and wrote the test 2 days after. Hope you find this useful. Cheers.

What should the work be about really?, can you give me an idea. Don't want to volunteer and then find out in the end that its not applicable.
Healthcare generally.

Ok
Please how did you go about volunteering with the NGO, I'll like to do something similar maybe for about three months to strengthen my application for the program
It's actually a religious(muslim) organisation and I don't think they have any program for now. You should check if you can join Red cross but am not sure they will issue a certificate after 3months. Cheers

I'm looking at semester 2.
Also preparing to take either IELTS or PTE-A. which one did you write?
Which would you advice?
I wrote PTE, I haven't written IELTS so I don't know which is easier. Check University of the sunshine coast, I think the school has semester 2 entry. Cheers

I replied earlier. Yeah, am going for semester one. This course has only semester one resumption date in most schools.

please my first degree n second degree is in industrial chemistry, how can I go about the nursing stuff ? thnx
If you intend to go into nursing because of PR, then I think you should check CSOL for Chemist requirement and apply for PR if you have experience and meet the requirements.
If otherwise, you can put away your MSc and apply with only BSc. Check schools for graduate entry nursing degree. Unimelb, ECU, Uni of Tasmania, QUT, Uni of Queensland etc.

Oh, that's great!
I wish you luck and hope you get the offer soon.
I want to say thanks a lot for responding to my post, your suggestion has been a very good one, and I'm looking forward to getting into one of the programs. Thanks once again.
Are you going for semester 1?
Am glad I could help. Yes, semester one. Have you taken IELTS or PTE? ECU requires no band less than 7.0 for IELTS or 65 for PTE and they will direct you to BCIE.

That's nice!
Are you still in the processing stage or do you already have an offer from a university/college?
I'd appreciate if you can give me pointers on how to go about it.
Also I hope there won't be any issue with obtaining a visa ( CO will have no reason to wonder what the connection is between Nursing and Chemistry), you do understand this.

Thanks!
I applied to Masters of Nursing(graduate entry) at the university of melbourne and I am still expecting admission offer. My SOP will solve the connection and also I have a letter from a NGO healthcare as a volunteer.

@bligs Thanks for the reply.

The thing now is I'm confused and don't know what to do, I have checked the SOL list and there is nothing for someone with a degree in Chemistry. I found 'Chemist' on the CSOL but I don't meet visa Subclass 190 & 489 requirements.

People in the house please help me out of this dilemma, what would you advice I do? How do I go about migrating to OZ successfully.
Any information that will help will be greatly appreciated.
Hello, I studied Chemistry too and I am going for nursing. You can check fast track/second degree/graduate entry nursing degree(2years) courses that will enable you become a registered nurse and also an easy route to getting PR. Cheers
