Lemme explain something to you. If your passport has just 6 months left on it to expire, you won't b issued a visa. So I advice you try and renew ( the earlier the better) . Call me 08066696890 for more information

Visa granted today.
So I applied on Feb 2nd for a February 26, 2017 resumption date. Some days after the school resumed the embassy requested for extension letter, flinders said they do not give extension letter to nursing student cos there's an exam during the 3rd week of resumption, and once you miss the resumption date then there's no point coming again. So I deferred to February 2018 cos there isn't a July 2017 start date for my course and went on with my life. An email was sent to them some weeks ago and they replied that my application is on queue for finalisation. I got my grant this evening. I hope everyone get their visa grants.

flinders uni dear but my intake is for February as they don't take 2nd semester intake for the course,although I'm trying to get my visa asap..graduate entry nursing,flinders was the cheapest I could find for 14550 a semester 2018 tuition most others are over 16grand.

You can't get your visa asap even if you apply now. The visa is issued earliest 3months before resumption. It's better to apply early though, especially if you have a good SOA now.

You would be asked to get a extension letter from you school before the visa is issued. If your school doesn't grant extension after resumption date, then you would be asked to get an updated COE for the next semester/intake and your visa will be issued 3months before resumption date.
