It means what it says. Wait and Check your Mail.
Thanks for the response, I was confused because I know other people who applied and didn’t get the message so automatically thought it meant I am not qualified for an interview waiver.

Hello, please who has heard about the waiver of the in person interview for certain visa types including but not limited to F visas. Does this include Nigeria?

Very possible. I'll advice you keep communication with your DSO when you do that though. Also, plan to complete the process before you start the semester.

Thank you so much for your response but do you think I can take on another while still studying for one as in dual degrees?

Good evening guys, please I’ll like to ask if it is possible to change course of study in the same school when you get to USA after receiving your study visa?

Travel / Re: If Someone Is Banned From Entering The US, Can He Still Apply And Get A UK Visa by Purplestorm: 5:39am On Apr 20, 2020
If this is exactly what happened, I guess you were denied and noy banned. The only way they can ascertain your docs were fake would have been to confirm if they were. I don't think they would look at your documents and conclude it is. Go ahead and apply to UK. However, if you can afford it apply to USA again but please refrain from all things fake.

Hello guys, wanted to share my POE, went with KLM. Questions lasted 3.5mins max.
POE: Hello
ME: Hi
POE: Where are you coming from
ME: Lagos/Nigeria
POE: Where would you be staying
ME: My sister's place
POE: How long
ME: 2 weeks, I liv on the 15th
POE: Do you have any food items
ME: Yes
POE: What type
ME: Egusi, Ogbono, Cray fish etc
POE: What are they
ME: We use in preparing soup( I have a feeling he thought I meant their type of soup). I Did not elaborate.
Can't remember if he asked any other questions.
I was stamped in 6months even though my visa expires in 2 months. I was stopped by another officer,( who seemed to have a better understanding of our food) on my way out with my bags who ended up asking me to put my bags in the scanner, he cut through some of my items and let me go.
I had a nice time with family and friends, however I'm back in our beloved country and would keep praying we get it right especially with this ban gist.

Thank you so much

mrprolifik:

If you are travelling with. the same visa after staying for 5 months ( assuming you were stamped in for 6 months at the port of entry) then it's best that you were out of the USA for at least 180 days ( 6 months) before travelling again else you might be turned back. But if you intend applying for a new visa before travelling then you might be questioned by the VO about your last stay of 5months and why it was so long. Though that depends on what you filled in your Ds160 form when you applied for the visa and how long you planned on staying for that visit.
I know about the 180 days rule cos I saw it happened to a young lady with italian passport on my trip to los Angeles last year at the port of entry she was grilled seriously and warned that next time if she doesn't stay out for 6months before visiting the USA again she would be denied entry.

Thanks for your response, it was sickness. Anyway it is definitely not a do or die affair.
OmoBendel24:

What was the reason for such long stay? If not solid, it could generate issues at the POE surely. But for renewal, that mostly will be a regrettable thing to have ever done.
Travel / Re: U.S Visit: Port Of Entry Interview/stories. by Purplestorm: 8:53pm On Nov 28, 2019
I don't know if anyone has had to stay in US for 5 months and travelled again, what was the experience at the POE?
Travel / Re: My Monthly Savings In Canada by Purplestorm: 12:45pm On Nov 09, 2019
I have often said to people who have the desire to relocate, if you are not extremely hard working and set targets for yourself you would barely get by. It is very important to be careful about mixing with the right people once you get there, of you fall into the wrong mix then your problem starts because nothing is ever possible. There are also people who have stayed do long in the abroad that have no idea on how to get things done because all the know is their job. They most times know all the exams to take but that's where it ends. There are also people who have stayed there for so long and not achieved much, maybe because of lack of focus or some mistakes they made, pls stay away from such people. Look for hardworking, honest people and make friends with. These people are target driven and would push you, most times you have to prove yourself before they let you in because they also need people to push them.
Pls OP stop trying to prove what you are saying is true because some would never believe and there is no point. I know of a lady who is into food delivery in USA, she makes more than 5k a month. She is very hardworking and also has a side job. I remember advising someone to go into it and she didn't listen because she didn't believe and felt she had been in US for too long for us to advise her, till she saw prove and is now doing it.

Hey guys, I havent been available because i moved from my former city to Toronto, and the move was really stressful. I am taking a graduate degree at Ryerson University, my second degree here. I am not in the habit of defending myself about my facts. They are facts. Earlier in this thread i did post a few of my paystubs just to buttress the fact about my earnings. I set a target for myself for last year and i met it. I set one for this year, i couldn't meet it because my hours where cut drastically. I have set another for next year, and i will meet it. I will keep saying it, it is absolutely possible to make 100k on a so-called menial job, but like i said, you have to put in a lot of overtime and sometimes augment with a second job. This is a picture of my tax statement from 2018. Although, i have learnt now that you have to be smart about making money in Canada. Because of my earnings from last year, i wasn't approved for a student loan, so i am paying for my degree from my pocket. My sisters were both approved for loans and grants when they applied for school. My elder sister just got a grant of $10k, though she has 4 kids anyway. So when you earn, make sure you earn very well or try and stay below $42k a year if you plan on accessing some government benefits..

Thanks for your response but does it make any difference that I studied law and the NOC I intend to choose has to do with education.
Tina26:
you can use any noc you have. Past and present. In your case you can use the former noc alone pre ita. Post ITA you fill the current one as personal history

Hi guys, please I would appreciate some clarification o these; If you studied law and worked for a while as a lawyer and then worked in a government job, education department precisely for 6 years and now work as a lawyer. Can you use an education NOC? Is it true once you chose a NOC you can't change it?

Bon jour à tous,
I have had 5 days of classes and I must say it's extremely challenging and very interesting. There are days I doubt myself so much and there are days I'm confident it's something I can do. I have decided to enjoy the language while immersing myself in the study. I encourage anyone who is still doubting themselves to take a leap of faith. Please I look forward to pointers on how to easily grasp the language. Please can people who had 8 months to a year to study this language and was successful share their story.
Merci beacoup et passez une bonne journeé

Hello,

My family and I plan to move to Canada. Age is not on our side as per the requirements but ze will give it a shot in any case.

I am 40 and my wife is 38. We have 3 kids.

I will work hard on French and English and will see where things go.

I will write both French and IELTS in December.

Does anyone know of a Centre in the Eastern part of Nigeria where I can take both exams?

Hello guys, I would be started classes on Monday at AF. I'm so scared and hope this would favour me. I'm dedicating 8 months to a year to learning French and hopefully get through, I have absolutely no idea. I was going to prepare for TEF but from what I just read I would focus on TCF. Please I'm open to advise. Please forgive me because I seem to be everywhere. I'm just anxious and looking for reassurance.
