rhymz: “I saw my wife around the vicinity of the Children’s section, she was crying. She told me that Praise was missing,” he said. What a useless and irresponsible mother! Your daughter got missing and you sat down crying waiting for your husband. I don't know how some people reason. Maybe she adopted the babies, because if she truly gave birth to the girl, she will be more proactive than that. Instead of her to raise an alarm or create a scene immediately the incidence happened, she sat down in one corner crying, i believe she is still crying till date. I tell you,if she had raised an alarm when it happened, there would have been a clue. Maybe someone would have remember seeing a baby with someone strange or something. Maybe they would have searched all vehicles coming in and out of Canaan Land that day,or even extend the search to Oju-ore or Toll gate. Search parties would have been organized to comb Ota and its environs, but she kept quiet, crying quietly. But they have to wait till Bishop finish preaching around 2pm to come out and look for the girl. Obviously, they are not good parents themselves. So they have to wait for a whole year to say it out? I am a christian but I'm not stupid. CHRISTIANITY DOES NOT EQUALS TO STUPIDITY!!! |
FunmyKemmy: My friend holds HND (Sec. Studies). He will be finishing his MBA (Marketing) by August 2012 and wishes to be a lecturer in a University. Kindly advise him on how to go about it. Thanks. With my little knowledge of academics in Nigeria, your friend may not be able to lecture with his MBA. Why? MBA is a professional course, just like MPA. But if you want to go into academics, consider doing MSc in Business Administration. If you notice some Universities advert for lecturing recruitement, they always indicate that MBA is not equivalent to MSC Business Admin. But in Universities that there is no competition sha oooh,he can lecture with the MBA. |
paleo: @house,pls it is possible 1 runs 2 different master degree in d same school @ d same tym.....am hopin 2 do dat in unibadan thou..Pls do you think it's visible...i need d 2 different master degrees lyk mad but dont av tym 2 spear @ all..i don old 4 house die...pls.any viable and reasonable advice is welcom pls..thanksYou can't pull that stunt in I.U,i tell. Maybe it is possible in other schools, but not U.I. But av u consider different schools which are not too far from eachother? E.g Unilag & LASU, ABK & U.I, OAU & U.I etc. Considering the distance btw these combinations, couple with a part-time job and your own seriousness,i tink it is doable. Best of luck. |

At P.W.D, cross d road to the other side and take a bike to Charms(like #100 bike). Tell the Okada rider that you are going to Charms,it is very close to Maryland. |
@EyenCalabar. I think 10yrs is too long to be in a relationship that will leads to marriage! It is better if a courtship is not too long to avoid falling into fornication. If the reason they are yet to marry is lack of fund for the marriage ceremony, have they consider the possiblity of going to their Pastor for marriage blessing with just two witnesses present? I know that our society too is not helping matter because people will expect them to do big wedding. Pls encourage them to get married legally asap so as to avoid 'doing it' or what do you want to tell them again after 10yrs plus relationship? On your second question; Yes,God is not happy when you ''take this fruit'' before marriage. Remember, He is holy and He wants us to be holy too. Nevertheless,He is a gracious God and full of mercy, if you ask for forgiveness,He will forgive you,but do not fall back into the same sin again. Your 3rd question is kinda tricky. Actually, 'proper' marriage is when 2 opposite sex people are legally joined together. Now this is the tricky part; there are different types of marriages, Traditional, Religious(Christian/Muslim) and Court marriages. You can be join under any of them. Mind you,it is only Religious and Court that issue marriage certificate which you may need in the future and also for documentation purposes. Let me give you a practical example, from the part of the country where i came from, you can do traditional marriage just make sure your Pastor is present to bless the union and you can go to court for marriage cert. You can see that it is a combination of two methods. Your 4th question is funny ooh. I dont really understand what you mean by ''highest sin''. Sin is sin,it has no degree or class before God. There are many sins and yes, fornication is one of them. Concerning the 5th question,i wish i can make it sound nicer than this, but YES, we are under the law of ''not to do it'' before marriage. Hope i have not bored you with plenty story? |
For more light into a godly relationship/courtship you can read this book Boy meets Girl: Say Hello to Courtship by Joshua Harris. |
I dont know our problem in dis part of the world. I mean, celebrating mediocrity! And Gbawe, what is right with u? U posted a muddy footpath and u call dat a road? Is dat a world class road? Is dat the best dey can do with tax payers money? Not posting any pix abt d so called 'on going road project' is better dan dis. U really fall my hand. Maybe u sud just wait till the raod project is completed before u start praising Aregbe or what do u think? But this road pix is a disgrace. If someone posted this type of pix for an on going road project in Enugu State, what will be ur response? |
O.michael.O:None has upper hand. It all depends on you. Let me break it down for u a little bit. Mind you,the two courses are interwoven, esp at M.Sc and Ph.D level. Biology(B.Ed) career opportunities: you can become a teacher/lecturer, u can become a cell biologist(e.g IVF), u can go into Genetic engineering, u can easily go into Biotechnology or into Environmental Biology, u can work in any Agriculture Research Institute e.g NIHORT as a cell biologist and so on. Microbiology(B.Sc) career opportunities: u can go into food mcb, industrial mcb, petroleum mcb, water mcb, agriculture mcb, medical mcb, pharmaceutical mcb, environmental mcb, environmental science,u can become a teacher/lecturer,u can become a researcher etc. Now don't think career opportunities in MCB is more ooh. When u get to the work place,u will find out that all of u will still work in the same place. In fact in some cases like when carrying out EIA(Environmental Impact Assessment) in any environment,we make use of Biologists more than Microbiologists. All in all,it depends on how well u develop urself and some other relevant skills u can aquire. Best of luck |

@Ayanle, read what the few sensible ones among u said on Somalinet. You are suffering from identity crisis, but WTF,who cares? origin of somalis Post by bushy man » Sat Mar 18, 2006 1:13 pm Well some of our folk stories suggest that we are descended from the arabs, although i cannot see anything we have in common with them apart from religion(which shaped our cultures) and our language is semitic, and probably has same origin with arabic, aramaic (language of the Chaldeans,ie ancient Babylonians) and Hebrew Postby Gacalisa » Tue Apr 04, 2006 9:32 pm I am tired of this question constantly appearing in Somali mouths and discussions. No we are not Arabs, we are full blooded Africans>East Africans. Its like the Indians claiming to be Arab or British, when they had far more influences and relations to Arabs. Postby Saayda » Thu Apr 13, 2006 6:19 am We are NOT arabs im sick of some somalis claiming that. Why is there a need to say that? No other persons in africa says that but the SOMALIS. I am proud to be an AFRICAN. Is there a subconcious notion of inferiority of just being an african? I think for some this is so, because they believe the western history that black africans are stupid and incapable of creating great civilasation. Remember the victors write and make their own history cos they have power to do that. Did you know that there was a programme where some white racsist said that out of all the africans, the somalis should be wiped out first, why? because they think they are better then all the other black africans, Well? Looking at what the person who posted this topic said clearly fits that sterotype. Is s/he not happy with being african? Anyway, are we forgeting that we are all from one source, Allah (SWT) through Adam and Eve, so technically speaking, every human on earth is "mixed." Somalis have a beautiful culture and traditions MashAllah, however if we keep on denyng this and adopting other cultures then we are truely messed up. To somalis, all i want to say for now is keep educating yourself and do the best you can to further your career for the sake of our ppl so that we can one day all go back and become a DEVELPOED nation, inshAllah. This means the somalis should stop chewing all day n night. InshAllah Africa will rise again. Ameen. |
@ Ayanle456 You are a Faun. For using such derrogatory words on anoda human being,u are a cretin too. I took my time to read all d 9 pages, initially i was truly admiring those girls, which i believe they are human being like me irrespective of their nationalities. But along the line,u invaded the forum with ur perverse thinking. I did a little psycology and what i undastood about desert dwellers/nomads is that they are aggressive, why?because of the harsh environment in which they live in or brought up.Could dat be the reason for ur aggressiveness? If anybody admire ur girls for their beauty(which is not spectacular anyway) then u should count dem lucky.Do u know d population of beautiful girls compare to d not-so-beautiful ones in Nigeria?U can search this site and see so many threads created abt d beauty of Edo women, south east women,hausa-fulani women,Yoruba women,Tiv girls and so many other nationalities. It actually shows that Nigerians are not boxed up in their little world unlike d somalians. U talk abt Nigerians adopting European language as their official language.Do u know that Nigeria have over 250 tribes, with different languages? In short,Nigeria is a very diverse country. Now tell me,which language among the 250 languages in Nigeria should av been adopted as d official language without d other tribes feeling left out?How would a Hausa man communicate with a Tiv man?So i think a need arose for a neutral official language, and hence English lang. enter. U said black man is suffering from insecurity, nah.I think u and ur brothers are d ones suffering from dat.I mean, why should u just get angry and aggressive because some people are admiring ur women online, not offline? Just like dat, and u lost ur appetite over it?Haba,u can do better. U should just remove Somalia from the internet so dat people wont av access to information abt it again.because i think datz d best solution to ur problem. U sure somalian get pride d way u think?I dont think so.Somalia is a failed state, face it. And here u are blaming ur govt. for d failure, who are d govt?It u and ur brothers dat is d govt. Instead of u to join others to hold all Africa leaders accountable,u are here spliting jargons. So ur hypothesis abt ur country been brought up with pride is rejected. If ur so call brothers couldn't hold d nation up until it crumbles and ur people av to live as refugees and slaves in other Africa countries, then u and d lot of dem are shameless set of people. So me fixing long weavon shows dat i'm insecure? Oh boy,get ur a$s off ur little world. I know many white people dat are ready to pay any amount of money to get their hair weave Nigerian way. Then i think u are drunk with Religion. Islam.Extreme of everything is bad ooh.Be wise. |

@ Seun, this ibide of a thing is suppose to be ban asap. @ ibide, u ar so full of hate! Your first 30 posts in ur profile ar all full of hate, mehn. Let me guess,u shouldn't be more than 20yrs old, uhm,u ar still quite young. Just try and get rid of all dis hate and bitterness(because i can see dat u ar embitter towards ur Itsekiri brothers, so much for ur "on 1 niger delta we stand" mission statement, lol).
