My dear, olutayo and Charles are two different persons. It is completely unacceptable. Go to any high court and get back-dated age declaration. If you happen to do your document in Lagos, you will be immediately disqualified but if you do your documentation in Enugu, the documentation officer may likely advise you to get a declaration of age with the correct name on your certificates. Thanks

PoliticsRe: Stop Depending On Men - Nnia Nwodo Tells Women by pussyAvenger: 11:08pm On Apr 20, 2019
Biglittlelois:
I have noticed the northerners don't complain when it comes to their women depending on them, why?? Cos the women are totally submissive cos they earned it, but down south, the men with their lazy tendencies, want their women to be independent and submissive at the same time forcefully, forgetting that you can't have both at the same time,

Submission, same as respect, is earned not forced, do your duty as a man which is to provide, when your wife sees your hard work and determination to provide, she wouldn't think twice to contribute what she has without you asking, she will respect and submit to you willingly, but when a man lay a rule saying I will provide for this, you provide for that, you have made her a co partner, she will have a say in everything and sometimes a final say too, submission will def be far from her.
yea and she gets the tonto treatment, then becomes a feminist

All the points I noted, he was just saying them, at a point I got tensed like thinking about what to say. In my mind i was like, how can you the first speaker be mentioning over 5 points. common you want to outshine others abi and you call yourself a team member but thank God we were able to contribute meaningfully.

CultureRe: As A Nigerian-american, I Would Like Insight On Which Language To Learn by pussyAvenger: 1:46pm On Apr 08, 2019
uchefefe:
I know Nigerian Pidgin fairly well actually.

I do plan on learning all of them someday. I don't want to just scratch the surface with them though; I want to learn them deeply and fluently. It is difficult to balance that with also working on my doctorate. I will take what you said into account thought, that may be a good approach!

See I really do want to, but it feels as though it has so many more obstacles than the other languages. Learning in the U.S. I have to use books and dictionaries that use Izugbe. Because Izugbe isn't a real dialect I've learned Igbo that no one actually uses to speak. The first time I went to Nigeria and tried talking with my aunts and uncles, none of them understood what I was trying to say becuase Izugbe is so different compared to their dialect. There's also olilo uduame which makes it incredible difficult for me to understand what people are saying. On top of that, Igbo people seem really reluctant to help or even speak the language (at least abroad). I grew up outside of Ala Igbo, but I did belong to a small Igbo community with around 30 adults. I asked all of them and only one was actually willing to help me after my father refused to teach me, the rest just dismissed me. In addition, all the Igbo people in my generation I've met at colleges can't speak Igbo. Even many of my cousins don't speak the language despite being born and raised in Ala Igbo. My experience is limited, so I ask is the language really thiving and worth learning like the other two?
l can teach you.

lgbo ain't that hard..l have rubbed shoulders with native Americans and they couldn't help admitting that lgbo is magically beautiful. You have lgbo blood running in your veins so you can do better.

Have you ever wooed a lady, mixing up lgbo and English..? so surreal!!

l once called my friend on the phone- a 70years old American woman:

Me: Nne kedu ka imere?
Her: obi di m mma......

The assessment was indeed well organised. I was scheduled for last Friday, 1:30 pm.
I got there early because it's my first time in Lagos. Got to the venue at 10am, the academy is behind first Bank along Eric Moore road. I had a lot of time to chill out at the cafeteria.

Everyone has said a lot already, just let me chip in a few observations.

The point of accreditation was the first point of call, there I overheard the organizer saying dressing is very important, he specifically said that it's 5point.

The topic of discussion is also very important, keep it some where safe. You will need it for your presentation and essay, by then you might not have time consult the points you jotted.

Presentation is power point not power word, also know that whatever topic you are giving, the bank must play a role. You might like to input the bank role as well.

Time is always of the essence, I lost my lunch pack in the midst of the whole thing, we were giving about 5mins for that sumptuous lunch. Just keep it somewhere and you can always go back for it.

You might also want to to look into the banking services offered by first Bank.
Numerical reasoning, just study all sorts of charts(distance, commission, discount etc.)
Logical reasoning is similar to the analytical reasoning in dragnet. All the best
help.. can we talk?

For the candidates that will doing their AC this week, let me just my experience with you as much as I can remember.

1. Like it was said before, prepare for numerical reasoning (20 min for 20 questions majorly SHL)

2. Prepare for logical reasoning (20 minutes for 15 question)

I could not cope the above 1 and 2, so I did tom boku tom boku. I pray God will help me to scale through.

3. There will be group discussion where each group will be given the same topic to work on. For my set, we were as to discuss on HOW FG, CBN AND COMMERCIAL BANKS CAN HELP TO SOLVE THE CHALLENGES FACED BY THE LOCAL MANUFACTURERS.

4. You will also be required to make PowerPoint slides (25 minutes) based on the group discussion. You will also do the presentation of the slide for 10 minutes.

5. Not only that, you will do an essay in not more than 600 words based on the group discussion.

6. You will be interviewed. Some of the questions are:
Can we know you? Or tell us about yourself.
How can the course you studied be applied in first bank?
What do you know about first bank?
Tell us first bank products and services you know.
Have you been in a situation where by you have to stand for something you think was right even though others did not agree with you? If yes, tell us your experience?
Have you been give a task with no enough time to meet up? If yes, relate your experience. How did you deliver the task within the little time?
That is all I can remember for the interview aspect.

8. You be give personality test to fill. That one was not timed.

On a general note, AC was very very organised. You too have to be very organised and composed to succeed.
AC was very fast and swift. You how to develop the speed of flash.
Remember to adhere strictly to all their instructions. Failure to do so you could be disqualified.

no, we there was no need to mention your name during the presentation or interview. You are given a tag which you wear at all times and it makes you identifiable during the presentation and interview.

You can use any means of identification so far it carries your name and picture. They don't keep track of your ID so you could use the international passport for the AC and a drivers license for another stage. I used my driver's license for the test and international passport today.

Hope I answered your question?
