I will be going to WAEC office later today or tomorrow so if anyone is interested in buying the scratch cards and sending to WES, please contact me. There's also a DHL office in my office building and the last time I sent some docs through them to Canada, I paid N18,500 and it got there in 4 days. It makes no sense sending one scratch card for that amount so let's split the bills.

WAEC does not sell their result checker scratch cards, so buy from educational vendors near you and post to WES.
Remember to indicate your reference number on every card if you are sending multiple unscratched waec scratch cards.

Men, application refused last night. Heart broken beyond comprehension. After so much hope and effort to prepare the app the best way possible I could have. They ticked : not sure I will leave Canada at the end of my authorized stay with purpose of visit, job prospect in country of resident ....

Can you imagine, I noticed my app was updated and checked with heart pumping excessively only to discover they updated the medicals by removing the medicals passed.

I assume they want a new medical now, let the request come now and with PPR request too. This is my week. Thank you Lord, it is my week of approval.

Hey guys. When filling your TRV form there is a part that says you should state how much it'll cost you to Study in canada. My application letter says $14000 CAD for Tuition and $11000 CAD for room and board. Do i need to fill anything in the part that says "OTHER"?.

Congrats on securing alternative LOA. Anyway, you dont have to notify CIC about it but if they need more information, you will be contacted to provide them. Finally, when you secure your TRV Approval, you will be issued study permit at the POE with this now LOA. So nothing to worry about

Anyway, what is your eligibility status now? That should help you rest your case. However, it is possible the refusal letter has not dropped.

Have you accessed cic letters online before, experience has shown that most people are not patient enough to click the message link to display their letters. If u click the message link beneath your application summary, you are suppose to download a PDF file of your CIC letter.

My application was refused on the 11th of October exactly on week ago and there has been no refusal note with the final decision still blank.
what could be the cause. I already applied for my Gcms note

That final decision space will remain blank forever. They have sent you a refusal note already besides, there is an application summary list there where is shown refused. Dont expect anything further from them.

Sorry about it once again. Expect your notes and focus on re-firing.

I hear it's dependent on the province, the schools I have in mind so far are in Alberta and Ontario ...I made a quick search schools offering master in electrical electronics engineering (course work) are quite few and the few are not exactly "tuition friendly " I'll keep looking but if you have some schools you can suggest I'll really appreciate that

The chances of securing PR with a one year SP is slim because you will be given a year PGWP after graduation and you have to secure a job during this period and acquire one year working experience as a criteria for the PR application plus getting the required IELTS score .

You have to keep looking for more schools, Ontario and Alberta are highly populated because they are more whether friendly, look further to Nova Scotia, Newfoundland & Labrador .

Weighing up nō 2 option isn't bad though.

It is fine. You just have to note that she has to be registered in school and you will probably wait months give and take 8-12 months to process your own open work permit. Family sponsorship is your route here.

Can the switch be done halfway in the initial stages of the 1yr program, say 2/3months after been enrolled, or immediately after approval/landing.

It can be done anytime especially upon arrival after getting your study permit. So securing admission into another program that is longer will help a lot even if you have to switch DLI. You just have to notify CIC once this happens knowing your first institution will update them of your absence from school.

No. The one year masters will give u 1 year PGWP. Except if the masters is 18 months, you might get 3 years with the hope it can be considered 2 years MSC.

Yes you can change your course even your DLI but I doubt if you can systematically convert a year TRV to a two year TRV except if you switch to a two year program which will help you secure your 3 years PGWP.

One other sure way is to marry someone in canny land and let her sponsor you as a family member to join her.

OR

Marry a Nigerian lady with brains ready to study upon study I.e. your nairaland target if her number rings by chance, finance her and apply for open work permit with her study permit.

Hello there, your refund is certain. A friend of mine even paid to UofR and requested for refund without applying for TRV because she deferred her admission and the refund came within days. So, focus on your TRV app with everything you have believing it is the only shot you have at it and it should end in praise.

It started with praise and it has surely ended in praise. Praise be to JESUS the Author and the Finisher of our faith. My TRV has been approved. Got my approval mail today. Thanks mi pals. Marvel4love, Surgee, Austinpee4, Maziude and a host of others I sight you all. I applied paper route, March 2nd, MASc. I'll share my full testimony later.

The last time I heard of gtbank card the limit has been increased from $100/day. But I think a question like this will be better answered by your bank. Good luck

Almost all the banks in Nigeria has increase their international transaction limit to $1000 a month instead of the usual $100 dollar courtesy of CBN directives. If you have issues paying online, you may consult your bank for approvals because of the banks requires you to inform them when travelling Abroad.
