Even though I don't like either of them. Atiku is too small to contest against Buhari. Even in atikus LGA Buhari go defeat am. Atiku that came a distance third in the last APC primary. He is also not love in the north, he is seen as an infidel and some even call him gay and to a northerner religion is everything. He has no political base. The political structure of both APC and PDP are not in his hand. |

Are you educated at all? cos educated folks don't argue with fact. Check any info about those state and their landmass and you'll put your lame argument to rest. We have Igbo Geography professors of repute and they have never refute the landmass of the east, so who are you to argue against fact? |

Besides, how man non-indegenes do you allow to thrive in your hostile, crime-infested, erosion-ravaged region of yours? Hostility drives investors away from your region, while tolerance and accommodation herald prosperity to the SW.US is a nation amorphous people, its greatness. We will continue to be tolerant untill your region is made desolate and uninhabitable by enticing all your productive people to our region. All your well-to-do people have their investments in SW and more are still coming. We USA of Nigeria. It is just a strategic policy to depopulate SE by having your best brains in SW, while the block-headed, never-do-well ones are left in your cursed land. You nailed it bro. I keep telling them we (SW) will keep draining them of all their productive and innovative populace until our most remote villages turn to mega city. I feel very happy When they shout Lagos is no man's land, I hope they extend their no mans land philosophy to Ekiti, Osun, Ondo and Kwara. |

Lagos and Ogun are doing "relatively" well. Oyo should do better than the mere 5.7b, Ogun has completely taken over the number 2 spot from them in the west. Ondo doing a 2.7b while Osun is doing 2.4 is a slap on the political leadership of Ondo. Kwara too should buckle up. As for Ekiti, they are our baby (last born) but fayose is not doing enough.
Thumbs up to Osun state, their IGR is increasing. |

yhemster: Go and listen to the song again on good speaker/headset. The particular tones I'm talking is main on the old man's tune bt it's on the background tone on Simi's tune. Anyway, enough of panadol on this matter. The old man gave them a pass so, I rest my case too. Lol tones can be confusing. Just score the song (the baseline, the keyboard and strings) and your will know it has no similarity in note. Enough said, do have a lovely nite. |
Celebrities › Re: Simi, Jaywon Remixed ‘joromi’ Without My Permission – Sir Victor Uwaifo by PVision2020(m): 9:43pm On Nov 26, 2017 |
yhemster: Same reason Robin thicke lost the case is a similar reason the old man will win. My argument isn't abt the name "Joromi" . Listen to Simi's version, you'll hear the baba's musical notes repeated severally. Its sounds kinda like "ta la ta la ta" coming from a piano or guitar not very sure Can you give us the tonic sofa of both songs and show if there is a similarity in notes? The songs differ in time signature, lyrics, note and genre. The only similarity is the word joromi that was nor even invented by the legend. That you popularise an existing word doesn't give you any right to it. You can't patent what has been existing. |

OMANBALA1: Be silent !
You don't know anything about precolonial Igbo land. Assuming you know you wouldn't have written the above nonsense.
Before the whites arrived Igbo land we had what we call Eze Obodo/Eze Ani who were the custodians of the culture and traditions but they held little to no political power, just the might to enforce traditions.
Before the white men some of the popular kings in Igbo land were EZE NRI, OBI OF ONITSHA, EZE ARO, EZE IWEKA, IGWE ORIZU etc.
Beyond the traditional stool we have Nze na Ozo and Ndichie who deliberated on matter bothering the town. We didn't not operate monarchy system like Bini and others because of our Republican nature. We believe in the theory of onye fee Eze and Nwata kwochaa meaning we can all be kinds in our own right.
In Anambra we have the Nze na Ozo noble society which any rich and forthright man can join after rites. Our title men have a personal chamber called Obi/Obu/ Iba where the title man receives visitors. A title man doesn't live in nkpuke, the female quarters.
Igbos have very beautiful culture that is also marketable. We have some of the most beautiful traditions in Africa and I am being honest. That's why people love nollywood, its the Igbo culture . Igbo culture has brought fame to Nigeria. Igbo is a very wealthy and powerful tribe and our influence is just starting to gain ground after the brutal war that has held us behind who every tribe excelled.
Your hate is full of hate. Oga go sit down, Igbo enwe Eze. You had kings and the colonial masters still imposed warrant officers on the east while the Obas and Emir held sway I'm the west and north? Stop making mockery of our collective intellect. |

IditaBoy: You’re being dishonest or trying to be slick at max.
See:https://www.google.com.ng/amp/thenationonlineng.net/the-mistake-of-1966/amp/
The first emboldened states that ypur man’s decree created a unitary system. That is, in simpler terms, deflated the regions and took economic & political powers away from them thereby appropriating all of these to himself inbthe center — this is what we have been battling today with the center having its fingers in every spherebof Nigeria and being all too power; the monthly cap in hand allocation. Yes, your man Ironsi began this path towards underdevelopment.
The second emboldened says that your man, Ironsi, created provinces manned with military governors - seems to e like he abolished regionalism. He set the structure for state creation which Mr. Gowin built upon. It is all your man’s doing & fault to have set Nigeria on this path of degeneration out of greed.
Yes, I say greed because aith the unification came the collapse of the covil service into the center and all Igbos who have, since constitutional conferences of the 1920s wanted a unification system, had their wish fulfilled and spread like wildfire into other regions taking up jobs. Something strange but backed by their son’s Decree 34.
Read: Groundwork of Nigeria History, specifically the part about Constitutional Development of Nigeria.
The North, through Gowon, got into power saw the benefits Ironsi had accrued to the Igbos in this new unitary system and proceeded to following it through, to their own advantage of course and over the decades we have continued to have a unitary Nigeria laden with Northern hegemony. Something you lot contiue to whine over claiming marginalisation of a system you started with hopes to benefit from and lost.
See Nnamdi Azikiwe’s God of Igbo Speech.
Thank you jare. They are always found of shifting blames. They must find someone else to blame for their predicament. very irresponsible set of people. |

Igbo's always expect others to clean their mess. Awo advocated for the Inclusion of the secession clause in the Nigeria constitution but Ziks NCNC colluded with the North to resist it and they even made it a treasonable offence. Few years later, over 3million Igbo's were sacrificed due to ZIKs foolish and myopic decision.
Agunyi Ironsi abolished regionalism for a unitary govt. to the applause of his Kinsmen in his bid for Igbo domination. Today, this same people are shouting Biafla or death, Lefelendoom, Restructuring blah blah blah. You can't eat your cake and have it. |

laudate: Diverse fashion wear that they copy from other ethnic groups. Their women have no original traditional outfits of their own....especially when it comes to bridal wear. smh. How will you expect a tribe without traditional history or ancestry to have traditional cloth. They are the only tribe that adopts a China made Apoche (akwa oche) with a lion,Leopard or elephant cartoon as a sacred traditional cloth, Head warmers produced abroad, George produced abroad. I'm beginning to believe those who claim Igbo's walk around unclad prior to Civilisation/Colonisation because they have no traditionally produced fabric. |

Enitan fall Afonja hand badly, no redemption @ all. No wonder the Oba of Lagos, who respects the Oba of Benin and calls him father, refused to shake the Ooni''s hand in public. What other verification of royal superiority do you guys need? LMAO!!!!
Instead of wasting your time looking for how to bash the Oba of Benin, please you guys better tell the Ooni, to do the throne a favor, by not attending a deliverance service and allow those ushers pick him from the ground when Adeboye or Oyedepo, decide to cast demons away from him, that will be the end, YORUBAS WILL REVOLT AND DETHRONE HIM THAT VERY DAY! hahahaha...all this long epistle just to save face. Shebi You guys once boasted that your Oba don't leave his Kingdom. Comparing Ooni with your Oba is a sacrilege. The Nigeria Traditional Rulers Council have two PERMANENT Co-CHAIRMEN; THE OONI OF IFE AND THE SULTAN OF SOKOTO, that should tell you who is greater. BTW, the Oba is on a nation wide tour, so expect to see him in Borno, Jigawa, Enugu, Imo (Okorocha fit dash am statue), Ondo before rounding it up at his SOURCE; ILE-IFE. So prepare to wail and vent your frustration on NL. It is permitted.
