Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Sahara Power Group Graduate Engineering Program 2018 Aptitude Test Invitation by pwetie: 8:49pm On Jan 28, 2019
Donelli:
Good morning.
Kindly cast your mind back to the aptitude test you guys took and assist with a description of what you came across in the test.

Number of questions per section
Nature of the numerical reasoning (was it graphs and charts, etc?)
Nature of verbal reasoning (was it the True/false/cannot say questions or what?)
Engineering function specific (please drop any of the questions you recall, particularly mechanical function)

I have a similar test, while there are preparation materials flying around, I think getting first hand info is more effective.

Thanks

Cc planter tochiemma uricas klassd pwetie aroboi wezem1 oscarz instinct20

1. verbal:which of these two are correct
2. quantitave: the normal ones flying over the internet (chats and all that sheet)
3. Abstract: (Only God can help)
4. Engineering Function: (Mostly chemical engine And electrical engine aspect of Power Engineering: Machines, Transformers, motors)
Hope this helps.

hmmmm please if you know somebody that knows somebody somewhere please help me. I'm ready to give out my first month salary cry

Also, here for the same purpose.

I'm even ready to give out my first, ONE YEAR'S salary if an offer can be secured.

You can see how passionate I really want to work or rather desperate.

Though for once, I have not asked anyone here or even PM.

Just following the thread with the hope that little info abound and also, may be some day, help comes.

So let me use this medium to simply drop my mail: @rocketmail.com

With the hope that some day, some how, when some one reading through this post in position to assist; could do cry so for the sake of God.

Men should marry only virgins so they don't have to bother about the past! If a lady who's been around town tells you the deep deep secrets of her past, no matter how you go initially form "it doesn't matter," as a man, you go hardly fit handle am!
So once again, men, marry only virgins & be sure to a very large extent of your girls decent past!

If all virgin nd non virgin men go for virgin females who will then marry the rest who aren't? I think the ultimate rule should be provided u ain't a virgin too ursef, then u stand no moral prerogative to hunt for one.
Romance / Re: Is It Right To Narrate Your Past To Your Partner by pwetie: 8:38am On Jan 21, 2019
From the comments its seems mostly ladies are culprits to this, mostly pointing to them. Open mindedness can breed trust in a relationship. My own is, don't pretend to be saint while in the actual sense u r not. If I like u I like u not for the past. But for d present nd future. No sane man will leave a lady with heart of gold for mileage issues. Provided it hasn't been stretched beyond recovery thus affecting s*x or pregnancy. God hlp d female folks tho.

That is what you get when you watch foreign movies
The knowledge, the use of language, their idiomatic expressions and their sense of humour is second to non
You can't get it in nollywood

Nitrogen gas destroy alloys- I was aware about that in terminator 2
Berryllium rod causes a reaction with a plutonium- got to know that in mission impossible (the fall out)

That is why i keep on watching foreign movies
My little ones at home dare not watch nollywood.

nollywood muvis are quite retrogressive stone age. I don't like to be a pessimist on the Nigerian matter, my bad, already spewed.

foreign, they are good at what they do. Some of the movies are quite eye revealing. But not all people really seem to notice some salient points. They are just in for the entertainment. I'm quite choosy tho

Bro na cost of transportation be the issue o. Then those animals who spends their lives on highways claiming "revenue officers" or "food produce". Then add police and army checkpoints.

But na business Wey I Sha still plan do and Wey people dey do already.

that's even the least problem. I think the major problem here is getting who to buy! When the products finally arrive. Because they are perishable items. The major problem is who to buy ? if the answer to this question is easy. Everyone will be doing it. Business ain't that easy as it may seem.

If u r really what you claim to be I'll advice you to stick and stay glued to the Job section, Education, Politics section and Travel section of Nairaland.

That will really help you in the long run. You can get lots of informative threads. rather than spending all day on celebrity nd romance section.

I'm also a graduate, with 2.1 also in axis. Still vying for a Job. But hoping this 2019 brings something good. u can see how competitive it is. And I must say those threads I mentioned above had exposed me to somethings I never knew.

I was wishing I had known Nairaland in my undergraduate days.
There are also internship positions u can apply for when u get to 400level in some of this oil firms...like nlng, shell etc...but u need d right information nd timings... which all of which u can easily find in those nairaland sections I mentioned earlier.

And also while in school try to make lots of friends with connections. Friends that know what theyr chasing, especially those with connection. Simply put, get good contacts..

Hope this info helps someone out there!

People with deformity feel eye pressure. When two eyes are looking at them it feels like a scrutiny of a thousand eyes. An invasion of privacy and self, an inquiry into their validity.

They formulate a defense, an outward shield against the perceived intrusion of eyes.

Her frown can be taken as dissaproval of the scrutiny. At an important occassion such as this, you can bet all eyes are on her.

Im against use of alcohol under any circumstance, but there are occassions where its use outweighs its prohibition. I would have put her into a relaxed mood with a little alcohol but not to the point she would loose her reasoning and cause embarassment.

I dont believe she is angry, underneath the stern look she is a happy bride.

Wow! you nailed it. What an impressive write up. We hope to continue seeing this type of intellect. Because, the forum seems to be dying gradually. With the likes of ppl that spew words like f*rk, puss*e, big ya*nsh etc. all day long.
But this type of piece would always keep one coming back for more sensible stuffs. Just like reddit.

Hello Nairalanders, Lol, never thought I would one day post anything on Nairaland. I used to come here just to read news and funny comments by you guys. People like simplykush grin. kiss

Before I go further, I will forever be in debt of the mods if they can pls let this reach front page.

My name (nickname actually) is Herlertah, 18, graduated from secondary school last year with 4 distinctions and 4Bs in WAEC and prospective student of OAU pharmacy (got 281 in jamb but still waiting on that slow school)

I decided to discuss a very important thing with you guys as I know we have many intelligent guys here who, as I have witnessed, have helped many people here.

I discovered when I was in Jss classes that I have the ability to multiply, divide, add and of course, subtract numbers (even big ones, I mean very big ones) without using calculator within a short time or no time at all!!

I am very also very good in squaring numbers within twinkle of an eye, just like, Scott flansburg.
I can find the square of 98765 within 10 seconds with my brain. I know the factor of ever number from 1-more than 10,000 or even more (don't know my limit). I once found the 3^40 and got 12157665459056928801with my head (took me few mins though). It's the longest record I have for now.

I also have the ability to know on what day of the week a date falls, I mean any date, whether past or future. Like asking me on what day of the week June 3rd, 2065 will fall and I will tell you that it's gonna be Wednesday.

I have known this for a while, buh where I am living here in Osun State, its hardly recognised. Although, I was given A MacBook upon from graduation from sec school mainly because of this ability of mine. Still I need help, I want to show this to the world, I want to make the country proud. I can do much more and I don't even know how I am able to do it. Although, I work them in my head buh in a rapid manner.

Thank you as you help with your invaluable comment.

Thank you!!!
