Hello everyone, good evening
Please I need an answer from someone/ anyone that as been through this same situation.

I misplaced my original waec result last year during relocation, I already applied for attests toon of result January this year, and I was told it will take a year to receive the attests toon certificate.

Now I have applied for admission to study in Poland, using my original statement of result, original transcript from my secondary school and waec print out.

My question is for authentication at the ministry of education and ministry of foreign affairs, can I use either of the original statement of result or printout (colored) with waec scratch card.

Or should I apply for confirmation of result from waec, I was told they will send that directly to the organization that needs it.

Please kindly help me out here, thank you.

Hello guys good evening, please I would like to ask the following questions and would appreciate any help I can get.
1. I plan to apply to collegium civitas for October intake, they are the only school taking my course of choice public relations, please who has an idea of it is a good and recognized institution.
2. While in transit I lost my original waec certificate, I have applied for an attestation of result( it won’t come out until January next year) and I’m also about to apply for a confirmation of result from waec, but I was told it would be sent directly to the institution I plan to use it, so I can’t receive by self, now my question is do I go ahead with my application for confirmation and have them send to the school, I don’t know when this would be sent but hopefully in time for next admission, how do I tell the school my waec was sent ahead so I would like to submit other documents.
Please kindly advice on how to go about this thank you very much

That's the down side of studying in China.

After completing a six yr course without a criminal record of any sort. The least they could do would be to grant some kinda work permit for graduates to gain employment, sort themselves and find their feet. But there's nothing of that such.

I think it's not cool considering the number of years and financial commitments involved. But it's cool though.

I got a job offer a few weeks before my graduation and the employer offered to help with my job visa application. That's the only way if you're lucky. There's no government provision for that.

For those planning to study in China, it's really a great place to live a very decent life at a very affordable cost but there isn't any jobs. You have to depend on fam or side hustles. It's a crime to work while on a students visa and most employers are being careful too.

But overall, you must survive if you're a survivor and a good planner. Stay out of trouble, and you'll be fine. There's always gonna be one or two business opportunities from time to time. The place turns everybody to a business man. cheesy cheesy

Hello good afternoon
Pls I would like to know, with a tefl certificate in hand is it possible to get an English teaching job, I would love to teach over there, but so far I haven’t read of any black person experience, much more a Nigerian, and I really want to know what it like over there even when I’m lucky enough to get a job from here. The image of China out there is soooooo different from the reality here. In fact, I recently bought a pair of female shoes in one of the street markets for less than 2k and the quality is top notch. The same quality will go for 6-7k back home.
Well, good luck in your future endeavors

What is wrong if he builds a house for each family member? Can he or can he not afford it cheaply?
We all need to understand the demands and responsibility of posterity on us when it's in our power to bring positive permanent changes to the lives of others.
Let it not be that this open show is an outburst from a stingy footballer.
I know i might receive some bashings for my expressed view, but in real terms i don't see anything he has done for his family that someone having one percent of what he has, cannot do.
He has done little for them, for from whom much is given, much is expected!
Much has been given him, but what has he actually delivered.
Many of us don't understand the purpose of prosperity, it's not all about you. God doesn't have only you in mind!
If he is the lightbearer of his family, he should let his light really shine, and it must start from his family!

Really? I don't like commenting but I just have to quote you, he should build house for each of them because he own a mansion that he worked for
He is the light if the family did you read that article at all did you see where he said he tried to help or you don't understand everything he wrote up their less I remind you that none of them is entitled to anything except he choose to help which isn't mandatory

i was at the Visa officer's Q&A session in my school last year, She suggested Agents to facilitate the process of getting the Invite for the Job. But if you can do it yourself, it is all good. She said they understand that it is harder for student to get sponsor for the kind of visa that is why they suggest agents.

Lol, when i hear of agent too, Naija's kind of Agent comes to mind but Agency thing is different from naija own. i really wonder why this Visa category isn't common in Naija.

Lols thanks for helping me clear that part cause honestly I didn't know how to explain it to him

Seriously I don't know why student in Nigeria a not allowed but on the other hand I think we both know why take for instance in my school some Nigerians that get the visa don't come back they rather forfeit the no of years they have studied and Start all over in the usa , so you now imagine if it were to take place in Nigeria

@OP...there is no need for agent. If she gets the visa.... then she should arrange employment even before travelling. Not impossible.... but jobs period...minimum wage or not are very hard to get in the US even for citizens/permanent residents. American students get unto the workforce from age 16 doing part time jobs while still schooling so she would be competing with them as well . It would not be easy to find a single job let alone two or three. She should start networking as soon as she has her papers ready and here is a good place to start. Otherwise....she can be there for months and get nothing. National minimum wage there is $7.25 per hour and there would be some deductions. Minumum wage varies from to state....but not below $7.25. The highest I think is in California...$9.50 per hour and Washington DC....no state pays $10 . If she manages to work in a restaurant as a waitress...oh well.... that $7.25 minimum doesn't apply...it becomes like $4.50 per hour plus whatever tips. But first...she must get over the first hurdle...getting the visa.

Thanks initially she thought the minimum wage was $8-
$9 so calculation was done based on that but with this she would be able to know what to expect

As regard the visa it the embassy that suggested the agent but is there a way it can be done without the needs of agent
Travel / Re: Hours Of Works by pwettyolly(f): 10:39am On Apr 09, 2015
19naia:
The US is hard to find 1 job that works a person for 18 hours.. 8 hours is the maximum for full time per day... People can work 12 to 16 hour days, but not every day and any hours above 8 hours will be paid as overtime which is at least 1.5 times the hourly wage...
So most job prefer to bring in a fresh worker after 8 hours...

Also Employers dont like to even work their employees for 8 hours because it then invokes the law that requires the employer pays benefits such as medical and or retirement... So employers only allow permanent career workers to work 8 hours or more per day..

If you are there only for 6 months, it will be hard to find an employer that will let you work for more than 6 hours per day..

What people do is work 2 or 3 jobs.. They will work 4 hours at one job and then 4 hours at the next... Some even do 6 hours at one and 6 hours at the next...

So plan on not being able to work as many hours as you like, many born citizens here in USa cannot even find that..
Also the J1/J2 visas may require you be invited to work by an employer, if you are not invited to work for more than one employer, you may not be able to wander to find more jobs... But.... The truth is that if you have any kind of visa that permits you to work in the US, it is possible to go a find other jobs on the side... Why?? Because many people who have no visa or are expired stayers, they work every day somewhere... If they can do it for decades with no papers, you can do it for 6 months with papers...

If you are not finding the amount of work you need and not easily finding second and third jobs, just know to inquire about day labor offices in the area.. Go there on your free days and just work for the day.. You will make at least $50 in an easy day or even $100 on a busy long day..
The job they approve the visa for, may have a different pay scale, just remember the minimum wage in USA is $8 per hour in the lowest cost states and $15 per hour in the most expensive.. You may be easily paid more than the minimum if you have a skilled job that requires education beyond secondary school..
If you have a University degree complete already, if they accept it from Nigeria, then you can easily get double the minimum wage in many places.. It depends on what job you accept.. Most degrees from Nigeria are not accpeted in USA without added shcooling done in USA.
Remember in the USA, bricklayer and house maids are not the lowest paid jobs like it is in Naija, these people make above minimum wage when they work for good companies... If you work at fast food or shopping markets,or other small businesses, then you will most likely find Minimum wage unless you work in Managerial positions...

Its possible to meet your goals, but you must be careful not to be seen to violate your visa terms, also it will take effort to search the multiple jobs that dont have schedules that conflict with each other.. Many people quit jobs and find new ones again and again because of conflicting hours between seperate workplaces... What happens if 3 workplaces all agree to employ you, but they all want you to work at the same time of day? You cannot be at 3 places during one time... So you must search again and again until you find the right ones... Maybe you will have luck finding work where many lazy americans dont care and disappoint their bosses... I know some USA employers that prefer to employ workers who came on visa from poorer countries..USA farmers love to hire those kind of workers...They always work hard and do not complain and are happy because even the minimum wage is big money to them..

Wow thanks a lot for this post it really eye opening and I really do appreciate you taking your time to explain this for me
Actually the plan is to work in 3 or four places with different hours but now there is need to put in mind how easy it is to get a job, thanks I really do hope that when it time there will be availability of jobs

i think she should contact her agent. They will be the ones to inform her of the number of hours she can include. i think 6 hours per day is fair. And again. Her interview will be centered around cultural exchange (Work and Travel) she should not make the mistake of dwelling on the work aspect alone. let her talk more of culture and opportunity to make new friends and the experience.

Btw, which of the states is she heading to?

Thanks alot for this input, but the thing is the agent already informed her of the working hours she just want to know if it possible for a person anybody at all to work 18 hours comfortably without falling apart and also if she can get two or more jobs

Age is going to florida
