u never can tell if your department will pass the next accreditation hence it's a 50;50 chance.

It's not even a department. Its pharmacy, and pharmacy in uniben is a faculty on its own. We have a separate administrative building, built recently. The lecture theatres and Labs are at quite a distance from the new admin building.

To some extent I think we were unaccredited because we still receive lectures at old theatres/labs, while lectures are enjoying the luxury of the new building.

Or probably because they take in much more students than the facilities can cover for.

Let's see how things play out.

If u r in year 1 or year 2, change ur course by transferring to another department coz u might be wasting your time.

Many graduates dnt have any certificate coz the course they studied wasn't accredited.

I just got the information today that my course was among those unaccredited by NUC.

From one WhatsApp post, I read the following lines: "if you're studying any of these courses in Nigerian universities, you're not in school"

I would like to know..what is this issue of accreditation all about? Will it be resolved as soon as possible? ( I am currently in my finials).

Those with knowledge about this should please enlighten me.

It doesn't really matter what language you use now, maybe when you forum get more traffic you can consider switching to a faster environment

Good evening all,

I've been considering building a forum like Nairaland for quite sometime, with a whole different section, for a targeted class of people.

I've done my little research, and as at 2013, I learnt Seun built Nairaland with SMF/Php, and currently he has switched over to Python.

I really don't know the reason for the switch, but I've observed that Nairaland loads so fast & I think its probably because its coded with Python.

Now, if Nairaland now runs with Python, can I do something with Python using an easy framework (as compared with SMF), or need to do all the coding from the scratch?

Pls comments are needed asap. Thanks

The rate of theft nowadays has increased so much in the place where I school and I'd like to set up an anti-theft measure for my phone.

There's an app I've heard someone use before, I don't even know the name. The person was able to get the number of the sim used on his phone after it was stolen, and he was able to get the thief by tracking him with the number.

if any one can help me with the name or rather suggest a better option for me, I'd be most grateful.

PS: I've tried cerebus and the app was a crap.

I bought my injoo Fire Plus in September, in less than a month the middle of the screen stopped working, i was managing it like
that until it got so frustrating that i cant snap, chat freely send message and to crown it all the battery got swollen in less than
three months, the phone became useless.

The worst part of it is that i could not fix the phone around anywhere in the country, so i opted to calling injoo
service centers service line for help. I tried calling the number (08184366068) for over a month before someone could pick the call,
most times the phone contact is always switched off or not reachable. They asked me to send the phone to lagos @ 79/80 Awolowo Way Ikeja, Trinity Mall Down, Beside Diamond Bank. I sent the phone immediately not minding the cost of transportation
and inconveniences, that was in late February. Ever since then i have been calling, waiting and hoping to get my phone back but all to no avail, they keep telling me that they don't have the parts to fix it; Imagine INJOO themselves don't have the parts to fix their own phone. it is so funny and unprofessional. I went through the nightmare of calling a number that never went, even the little time i got them on phone, it is the same story of no parts for my phone, Until three(3) months later. I called them in May and one of customer care rep i got online frustratedly told that my phone was ready, and that was a relieve. I sent someone to pick it up for me in Lagos, and when i received the phone after three months it was the same or even worst than as i took it to them, they did'nt change the touch pad, neither did they change the battery, my phone came back to me worst, because the stupid INJOO people only did a factory reset and i lost all my contacts and information instead. I WILL NOT ADVICE MY ENEMY TO BUY AN INJOO PHONE. WHEN YOU HEAR IN.... RUN FOR YOUR LIFE.

You just gave an exact replica of what I faced with my Innjoo fire, and believe me I was very very frustrated. God delivered me from frustration using Innjoo phone. Anywhere I go I continue to give me experience to anyone who is considering buying their product.

I encourage u to continue to do same..till they decide to improve.
