Hello everyone, I have been offered Claude Leon Foundation postdoctoral fellowship tenable at Nelson Mandela University, and would like to process my visa in Lagos. I did my study permit (2014) and renewal (2016) at Abuja embassy for my PhD programme at Rhodes. I need information on how to apply through Lagos embassy. The last permit renewal at Abuja wasn't good enough for me. Someone should help me with detailed information on how to go through Lagos embassy. Thank you.
It’s the same process I’ve done study permit in both it’s just that Lagos is faster

I think Abuja has issues. I submitted mine since 28th of September in Abuja and no response up till now
I went to the embassy they said they have a backlog of applications so visas will only be issued from next or upper week and they also changed consulars so things are a bit slow .

Hello house, my dad is my sponsor for my study in S.A and he is using his company's account statement cos the account has a very goood cash flow and turnover.
My question is: Is he meant to state that he owns the company in the sponsorship letter he would write and does he have to submit any proof that he owns it??
I think you can just put a signed letter from the company saying they’re sponsoring you that’s what I did when I used a company account

I’m running out of patience this will be the 9th week on Wednesday and nothing when I track it still says your application is under assessment at the abuja high commission. And then they’ve got no contact number that works

Please have you received your passport now? Mine will be 8 weeks by next week and i have not heard from them. Why so much delay
I still haven’t heard from them oh I’m assuming if there was something wrong they would have said something . And the abuja embassy doesn’t have a contact number that works so I don’t even know what to do again .

HankVoight:
Evening,
1. Please in respect to flights booking; do I need to pay for the flight before I submit my visa application? If No, am I to pay for the same flight reservation I submitted to the embassy which has a 72 hour reservation holding since i choose the 'pay later' option OR can i move on and pay for another flight on a later day?
2. how much is the visa processing fee for study permits; is it 8,600 or 18,000?
3. Do I need to photocopy my vaccination card?

Thank you for your help.
No u only need a flight booking. And study permit fee is N8600. You need a photocopy of both the back and inside of the yellow card
