Your case is special and should have been attended to if you sent a mail to the addresses given.

Please let me advise at this point that you don't need to send an email to the email addresses given if your application is less than 1 month with VFS. If it is less than a month, then they will stop looking at our emails because there has been no delays up until that point. This is generally for everybody.

But for you Hillbankz, you do have a case. Application since June 28 is unacceptable.

Compose a nice email, not one of those arrogant mails we like to compose in Nigeria (not saying you in particular do that), and send to the Director General. In the mail, explain your situation and request for assistance in finalizing the process.

I had to do the same for my wife's relative visa and I was assisted immediately (applied on 14th of June at VFS, sent mail on 3rd October to the DG, got VFS mail on 4th of October).

Also, once you send a single nice email, relax and let them do their magic. No need sending mails everyday or every hour to the email addresses provided (again, not saying this is you but some people do). Doing such will only frustrate them and they may switch on auto spam for your mails.

Cheers and all the best.
Can I please have the email address?

Today I picked up my passport with study permit visa till 2022. I am a PhD applicant.

Thank you guys.
Good evening can you please send me the email address and what format of email you sent to them . I’ll be grateful thanks

How does the letter of undertaking you got from the school looks like?
I had this problem too but there’s a particular format all schools use to write it . It just states a bunch of things the school has undertaken to do with regards to you .

Hello guys in the house. It’s been a while I came to this forum. I started here 5 years ago when I was looking for all necessary information to help me apply for my study visa and I wasn’t disappointed. I got a lot of assistance reading through different ideas and contributions on this page. After two study permit renewals, I got my PR and ID last year to God’s glory.
With regards the issue of delay of processing permits, sometime in February, SA high commission said they were having technical issues and visa application will take longer than usual http://www.vfsglobal.com/southafrica/nigeria/news.html. Kindly be patient guys and wait. Hopefully, you’ll all your reply soon
I’ve renewed my study permit twice how did you get permanent residency ?

Just to say my passport and visa were also released with the 21st Feb batch.
Thanks to everyone that took time to respond to my questions on the thread and privately.
I pray everyone else waiting (genuinely) get theirs soon.

PS. Be cautious about falling into the hands of agents. Please ignore what is posted here about bribes. Students, keep sending mails and hard copy letters. Ask your school or sponsors to assist.
If in a hurry, go to Abuja, no backlog there.
Abuja that held my passport for 22 weeks then denying me saying my school isn’t registered which it is

For where! my brother!

I'm Just thankful to JAH & to Bro Diamond1960 at least among all my worries i posted here that stressful day! my wife finally gave birth successfully to a baby boy! making it 4 without the help of anyone but a Zimbabwean lady (house help) i google online looking for domestic jobs... She took care of my other boys whilst my wife in hospital. I was so afraid busy checking cameras but yet she did her job..
God works in a mysterious ways & i know for sure He will approve and release everyone visass IJN. amen

But the separation is killing me. My 6 to 8 weeks ended December, but i decided to count it as working days wnch ended 2nd week of January.
I wouldn't advise anyone to come home and renew der permit non change any condition.

Finally, I was at the airport yesterday saw many travelers going to sa was wondering then i spoke with some of them whc embassy are they getting this visa from & was told what they did... This is not about technical issues. something is not right. People pray o0

oppression maketh a man mad!
What did the travelers tell you that’s wrong

Hope everyone is fine. I applied for a South African study visa on the 14th November 2018. I am yet to get a response. The email and phone numbers on the South Africa High Commission website are not working. A visit to the High Commission office was also futile as I was refused entry and told to channel all visa issues to VFS. What can one do? I have also written the International Students Office of the university where I intense to pursue Phd Studies but that also has not yielded any result. Is there any channel available to speak to the consular office?
Is this abuja ?

I just got a notification that mine is ready for collection so I’ll go tomorrow and see ... since August 29th 2018!
