I cried for very long time, unfortunately that didn't help. I prayed and ask the Lord to give me 1/100th of Spyder880 talent to do the fence.

After counting my losses, I got myself together and rebuild the fence with 16 pillars(on the bad side) and a beam in-between the fence.

Hello there everyone in the forum. I know a lot of you have been wondering what ever happened to QC-1 project? I'm happy to report that by God'd grace I've been doing the little I can by myself without any professional builders here. I have to confess it's not easy but because of the disappointments ranging from one to another (from a Nairaland home builder contractor), I decided to take it straight to the sub-contractors and take the risk of being the boss. Afer all, it's my money. angry

I will like to thanks some guys here for their inspirations. Spyder880 - for inspiring me and others with your wonderful and beautiful works that goes with superb transparency. I wish you will work in Lagos, May you never lack!

Lawyer- for being the mods that stand for fairness on this forum, May God bless you bro!

No matter how oga Skimaski does his things, you will surely love it.

It seems you live in the U.S because the way you described it is the way we see kitchen tiles done here.. You think exactly just like me when it comes to wall tiles. I prefer backsplash to all wall tile as commonly done in Nigeria. I prefer my kitchen wall to be 85% free of tiles.

Like the ones in the pictures below.

KITCHEN UPDATE AS CABINETS ARE ALREADY TAKING SHAPE AROUND THE SPACE.

Why the tiles on the the kitchen wall if it will be completely cover with the cabinet? if at all there will be some space that will shows the tiles why not map out those space, do the cabinet first and then follow up with the tiles? I may be wrong, but I think this will save a lot of money and some inches in kitchen space.

I wouldn't have lost money if you had worked on my house. A lot of money wasted few weeks ago. I eventually gave it to someone on nairaland that eventually messed up. He is a quack and rogue that I had to let him go. The guy is a let down and engineer wanna be. Not everyone who call themselves "engineers" are truly engineers. I eventually got someone else there who is capable. He is competent and trustworthy but trust me, my finishing must be done by SKIMANSKI or else I shutdown nairaland. You can take that to the bank.

Just be ready.
