I don't have much gigs, but I'd advise creating a portfolio and applying for Nigerian gigs and Reddit they work.

Why flutter?
Is it that it's the future or just a shiny new toy. Because me sef wan pick up either of the two just to boost employability

I don't like writing JS for mobile, Dart is closer to java for me and performance, but I will advise React native for jobs since it's faster to learn

Adonisty:
What's the job market for reactnative Devs these days?

I think so I have seen market for it, but I don't write RN anymore it's only Flutter but not for work though, I think RN has more jobs depends on where you check RN, Indeed

Want to start this journey too in the coming weeks, to differentiate myself (make myself standout), and help me with (steady)jobs.

Hey there,
I've been following your journey for a while, and your quest for stability, determination, and perseverance is truly inspiring. Well done! I hope you find what you're looking for soon, and I hope Canada is everything you've wished for.
I have a quick question: What tech stack would you recommend for rapidly developing an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) for directory web apps? The app needs basic location and filter functionality, with an easy way to update data. I'm considering no-code solutions or developing a React app that can be easily edited, as I'm looking to create more than 10-20 directories with similar functionalities.
Would love your insights on the most time efficient approach.

Hmmm I guess it depends on the stack you know ? if PHP i'd say Laravel, but whatever you do don't use no-code or you can buy an existing package from code canyon and build off that, you don't need to start from scratch

As someone trying to japa from Nigeria I want to ask this question Nigerians living in Europe how is life over there and how long will it take to get your papers if you come with work visa or how will before your wife will join you if you are married. Will through school be the best option? I really need answers please I am married and I want to leave to country my wife will join me asap.

It's tough if you have a good skill then sure, but it's not all rosy it depends on how you move and how quick you can get a job

durentboi:

What are the things or skills I should start doing to make my future better?

I am 26 years old and still living with my parents. I am extravagant in spending my parents money (my dad is not poor just comfortable) and I usually spend up to 10k daily on foods and alcohol

I'm wondering how I will survive when I start working (I dont plan on having kids so I can keep my expenses lower) but I'm still scared i won't be able to afford this lifestyle I'm living

Pls advise

Seems like you have some money coming your way, what you should do is learn a skill, and learn to save up some money, nothing wrong in alcohol, as a guy you will need a lot in the future when depression hits, but you need to be functional regardless, so invest in a skill, and that can afford your lifestyle. But be prudent also because times are hard, so you don't want to regret later in the future.

Penboy:
Are you guys still making money on upwork¿

Yes but Upwork has changed, it's hard getting gigs, so now I'm focusing on cold mailing

downbad:
Lol. it is known for its toxicity actually

Back then it was positive especially this section, na this new yns

NL used to be a positive place, I guess it's a generational thing.

Beautiful content, I just got into it, for my API and I love the framework, I'll watch the video. great job

Jaycenvirtualse:
Can one intern with you remotely?

Unfortunately I am not in a good position to offer paid internship, and I don't believe in someone interning with me for free also, however if you mean you want to shadow me, then you are welcome.

How has Upwork been lately ? seems like there's been a lot of scam lately
