Good one from saudi authorities,Gumi is a security threat to any nation.

If I where president I would have my NSA chief place him under strict surveillance, his bank accounts monitored, his phone calls wiretapped.
Then you are not a president for waiting on Saudi to show you the way. Have you not been seeing Gumi snapping pictures and making videos with the terrorists in the forest? Omo, leave that talk. You think every country is as unserious as your Nigeria? Even the Saudi that is so strong in Islam detests what Gumi is doing, and Nigeria, which is a secular state, keeps playing games with the issue. Okay, we dey de watch na

RomanceRe: I'm Tired Of My Marriage, This Is Why I Want To End It by qtx(m): 2:52pm On May 26, 2025
Wakatumbit:
I've made some previous posts about how my wife threatens me with leaving our marriage everytime we have small issues (I didn't post it with this account).
She always threaten to leave anytime we have misunderstandings, not even only misunderstandings, even when we are having normal conversations and someone refers to maybe a bad marriage experience, she always says if it's her she will leave. I've spoken to her about it several times, I have even spoken to her family about the issue but it keeps repeating itself.

She has this kind of mentality that she can leave the marriage at any time I do something to her and she repeats it every time, the last one was during an outing when we had a misunderstanding, even before hearing my own side of the story, she said she already tired of the marriage and wants to leave, so I told her to go if she wants. The next morning, she came to wake me up and told me she doesn't want to do again that she wants to leave, she said she'll call her people and I should call my people. I said fine.

I told my family about it, and they supported me because a woman can't threaten me with marriage after one child.

Another thing my wife does is that she constantly compares me to other men, telling people I don't provide for my family, I don't take care of her, to the extent her friends are telling her that if a man doesn't provide for his woman, then he's pushing her out to meet other men.

In regards to the issue of providing, when we met, things were going very well, it was just the two of us and I had money at the time, I took her on vacation, booked flights for her, bought her hairs, a new phone and all. But now we have a child, added responsibilities, and money isn't as it used to be before but one thing I never do is to starve my family.

Last year I made close to 20m but I didn't see the money, not because I'm an extravagant spender but because of family expenses, I can't even explained what happened to the money aside the fact that I bought a car.

I opened a business for her with almost 3 million, the business crumbled, she doesn't want to do anything, she stays home all day just pressing phone. If I don't have any money at all she can't support me, she calls me for everything, even to as little as salt in the house.

She started comparing our marriage to when she was single, that she used to wear the lastest clothes and buy the lastest hair, and now she's married she doesn't get those things forgetting those where the thing I used to do for her when there was enough money.

This whole thing has made me tired of the marriage and I don't feel like continuing it any more, I've told her to call her people since she doesn't want to continue the marriage so they can return the bride price. I just want to focus on my life
All i can say is that you didn't marry your wife. She is not yours if i am to go by the story you shared.

Guy, you are just trying to take advantage of her ignorance and naivety. Look here, if am not mistaken, you are her first love. One day she will wake up and feel she never had the chance to further her studies because you brainwashed her. She might want to try things out outside of you and see how different the world out there looks. Also, she may one day regret not furthering her studies first before settling down with you. CrimeRe: Man Shares Encounter with Police Demanding Bribe Over Suspended e-CMR(Photos/Vid by qtx(m): 12:50pm On May 26, 2025
Glimpsetv:
A traveler has shared an encounter with a Nigerian police officer who demanded a bribe despite the suspension of the Electronic Central Motor Registry (e-CMR) policy. The incident occurred along the Benin Bypass, where the officer reportedly asked the travelers to either pay ₦5,000 or provide 5 litres of fuel.

This happened despite the recent suspension of e-CMR enforcement, as previously announced by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP).

You may recall that the Nigerian Police had earlier announced that enforcement of the controversial e-CMR would begin on July 29, 2024. Under the policy, vehicle owners without the e-CMR would have faced sanctions.

However, the announcement was met with widespread criticism. The Nigerian Bar Association even issued a one-week ultimatum, demanding that the police reverse the decision.

In response to public outcry, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, ordered the immediate suspension of the proposed enforcement originally scheduled for July 29.

In the now-viral video shared by the traveler, the police officer is seen ignoring the travelers’ pleas and openly demanding a bribe of ₦5,000 or 5 litres of fuel from those without the e-CMR. The footage later shows the travelers handing over cash, which the officer takes and carefully counts.

During the exchange, one of the travelers asked the officer, “What’s the problem?” The officer replied, “e-CMR.” The traveler responded, “e-CMR is illegal,” to which the officer said, “You can make a call.” The traveler replied that he had no one to call and then asked the officer what he wanted them to do. The officer answered, “5 litres of fuel.”

The traveler pointed out, “There’s no fuel station around here. Where do you expect us to get the fuel?” The officer replied, “You can just go and get it.” Realizing the officer was asking for money, the traveler asked, “How much is 5 litres of fuel?” The officer responded, “₦5,000.”

The travelers pleaded to pay ₦3,000 instead. One of them explained that they were returning from their grandmother’s burial and that ₦3,000 was all they could afford. The officer, however, showed no interest in their story.

As the video continues to circulate widely on social media—especially on X (formerly Twitter)—many Nigerians have expressed outrage over the officer’s actions and called for accountability.

Watch the viral video and share your thoughts in the comments.

FamilyRe: Please Don’t Give Up On Your Wayward Relatives, Children, Or Siblings by qtx(m): 9:49am On May 26, 2025
tunnyl:
In Nigeria, when a child starts behaving strangely—skipping chores, arguing unnecessarily—parents start panicking. “This one has joined bad gang!” they say. And sometimes, they’re right.

There are many reasons why children and relatives behave in a rebellious or troublesome way. I recently watched an interview featuring young men and women in their early and late twenties. A common theme among them was that they ended up on the streets because of their strained relationships with their families. Some shared that their parents were too strict, while others said they lacked attention at home and sought it elsewhere—often with devastating consequences. Many became drug addicts, prostitutes, or political thugs simply because they felt neglected or misunderstood.

Some children become so difficult that they stress their families and entire compounds. The frustrated parents respond by becoming excessively strict or harsh, which pushes the children further away. Some even run away from home, convinced that the world outside will be more welcoming.

Sadly, many of these children eventually realize that life on the streets is not as glamorous as Nollywood makes it seem. There’s no dramatic background music, no hero coming to save them—just hunger, suffering, and dangerous influences. And when they attempt to return home, they are often met with judgment instead of acceptance. “So you want to come back after disgracing us?” some parents say, unknowingly pushing them further into the streets.

These children seek love and understanding, and when they don’t find it at home, they look for it elsewhere, often in the wrong places.

A Plea to Parents and Guardians

Dear Nigerian parents and guardians, please do not abandon your children simply because they seem rebellious or refuse to obey every command. Instead of chasing them away, guide them with patience and understanding.

Let’s be honest—some of these wayward children are incredibly smart. If properly nurtured, they could achieve great things. Have you ever noticed how some street boys can calculate bus fare faster than an accountant? Or how some girls selling puff-puff have business skills sharper than most CEOs? That’s untapped potential! If given the right environment, many of them would thrive instead of struggling on the streets.

Advice for Parents

1. Understand Your Children:
Pay attention to their behavior, friendships, and struggles. If your child suddenly starts wearing dark sunglasses indoors and speaking slang you don’t understand—be observant!

2. Give Them Healthy Freedom:
Allow them space to explore their interests while setting reasonable boundaries. The goal is balance—not turning your house into a military barrack.

3. Show Love in the Home:
Nigerian parents, please, hug your children sometimes. Not every time “Did you wash plate?” or “Bring my slippers.”

4. Teach Practical Skills:
Fathers, take your sons along for “manly” work or household chores to teach responsibility. Don’t just shout, “Be a man!” without showing them how.

5. Stop Using Children for Manipulation:
Single parents and grandparents—avoid sending children to spy on neighbors or making them resent their fathers or mothers. Let them grow up without unnecessary family drama.

6. Limit Exposure to Harmful Relationships:
If you engage in external relationships, keep them away from your children if you cannot fully trust your partner.

Children are individuals with their own identities—give them an environment where they can thrive. If your child has run away and you’ve tried everything to bring them back, stay in touch with them or send someone to check on them. Pride often stops them from coming back, but deep down, they want to return home. Make it easier for them.

Finally, never compare your child to others or their siblings. Nigerian parents love to say, “See your mate.” Please, stop it. Every child is unique—some shine early, some shine later, but the goal is to make sure they shine at all.

With patience, guidance, and love, even the most wayward child can find their way back home.

Botragelad:
lol.Another random guy on the internet spewing lies, pretending Palestine has ever been an independent state (it hasn’t) and that Hamas aren’t bloodthirsty terrorists (they are). Funny how you guys never mention Hamas butchering thousand of Israelis on October 7th, including that poor African student they executed in cold blood. But no, let’s ignore that and cry about “stolen land”.https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-67713520.amp

Speaking of lies, those so called European diplomats in the West Bank, filming their little propaganda stunt, whinged when the IDF fired warning shots in the air, around to disperse them. Where’s the footage of soldiers gunning them down like Palestinian terrorists did to that pregnant woman on her way to give birth. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cvgq89yd7p7o
Happened in the same West Bank.
I’m sure you’ll call it “Zionist lies.”

No Hamas in the West Bank indeed. The Jenin Brigades, Tulkarm terrorists, and Islamic Jihad thugs are all there, just because they don’t hand out business cards doesn’t mean they’re not somehow Hamas-aligned when need be or have similar Islamic ideology. Even the so called Palestinian Authority had to crack down on them last year,or did they just fancy a random jail day for fun? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.timesofisrael.com/why-pa-security-forces-are-cracking-down-on-palestinian-terror-groups-in-west-bank/amp/

If Israel was truly committing genocide why then has the Palestinian population increased since 1967? Worst. Genocide. Ever. That's not how genocide works. Lol
And if the IDF just wanted to kill Palestinians, why arrest terrorists instead of executing them? Why bother rescuing Indian workers kidnapped in West Bank?
Oops. https://www.hindustantimes.com/india-news/10-missing-indian-workers-found-in-west-bank-rescued-by-israel-101741316371052.html

Funny how you worship Mandela but never talk about the fact that his ANC bombed and killed civilians(search it up). But Mandela changed, denounced violence, and made peace. Hamas’s charter still screams about wiping out Jews. So why don’t Palestinians follow Mandela’s actual example instead of glorifying terrorists?

It’s not about Islam? Why does Hamas’s charter quote the Quran calling for Jewish slaughter? Why do Palestinian kids learn in school that martyrdom is the highest honour? And if it’s just about “land,” why did Arab nations cleanse and expel thousand of Jews in 1948? Where’s your outrage for that ethnic cleansing?

Are you aware that Jews have been living there thousand of years before Islam ever existed? Why do Palestinian leaders always deny Jewish history (like the Temple Mount) while crying about “erasure”? Who’s really rewriting history here? You can keep crying. Israel will do whatever and there's nothing you or anyone can do about it!!
Well detailed with links. Dont mind them

Car TalkRe: How Do Lagos Commercial Buses Obtain Road Worthiness Certificates? by qtx(m): 7:56am On May 18, 2025
Globad:
The idea behind obtaining a roadworthiness certificate for every vehicle in Lagos is a brilliant one. Each vehicle is supposed to pass specific tests before being certified. The certificate is valid for one year. So this means that the tests are once every year for every vehicle registered in Lagos.

The tests cover vehicle components such as the horn, brake system, indicator lights, headlights, windscreen, mirrors, tyres, emission level, fire extinguisher, C Caution, jack, etc

With this, it's obvious that the problem of broken down vehicles, accidents, or vehicles that are not roadworthy should be eliminated or greatly minimised if the checks are strictly applied to all vehicles registered in Lagos

However, are they being enforced on commercial vehicles, especially yellow buses, koropes and danfos?

I have visited the Ojodu, Oshodi and Ojota offices of the Lagos Computerised Vehicle Inspection Centre. During my stay of several hours at each of the Centres, I did not see any danfo, korope or trucks. I spoke to other motorists who also reported not seeing them.

Does it mean that the stringent tests do not apply to them? If they do, when and where do they visit the inspection centres for the tests?

If they do go for the tests, why are defective danfos still so many on Lagos roads? Danfos and koropes without mirrors, indicator and brake lights and with broken or no windscreens are a common sight.

Who is going to fix this problem? Or is there a racket somewhere?
Get this into your head that when it comes to traffic and driving regulations in lagos there are two categories of laws one for the private drivers and the other for commercial. The one for private is the enforceable law while that of the commercial has no teeth. Even bustops are of two categories. There are some bustops only danfos and koropes are allowed to stop if a private driver tries it he will be arrested. I have a lot of evidences. Lagos is just built on taxing and exploiting private harmless people nothing more.
