Most of my childhood friends have traveled to Lagos.

That aside, I want to relocate to Lagos. I have an uncle that used to stay in orile (2018).

I can camp in his house for the main time.

She's right, the money is enough to start a business without renting a shop. I don't know about other states but in Lagos, neighbourhood shops now go between 8-10k per month. Shops in busy areas, bus-stops and market places go for much higher and most landlords ask for 2 years rent upfront. The spending won't be on rent alone, she'll need to furnish the shop with chair, table, counters, shelves etc and make it look attractive to customers. She's only telling you the reality of things but you're here poverty shaming her. You strike me as the toxic abusive husband who will treat your wife like you're doing her a favour by marrying her. The only people i have a problem with is the school's PR unit who do not know that this issue should have been overlooked rather than given wider exposure and awareness by way of punishment to the girl, forgetting this is an era of social media.
