Hello mamas in the house a new mum porting from pregnancy thread, my lo will be a month old tomorrow. hpe we are welcome here.

Hi sorry I disappeared after delivering without dropping my bs. Here it comes in summary. So my edd was 5th, n 12th December according to LMP n 1st scan respectively. So I went for antenatal on d 7th n d nurse was lyk any sign I said no jus normal braxton hicks off n on painless though. She nw said I'd b induced if I don't fall into labor by my nxt appointment, I jus 'yimmued' at her cos I actually didn't want to give birth until 12th for reason I dnt knw. As far as I was concerned my baby wasn't baked enough. Fast forward to 8th December, had my normal evening walk den went to bed early, couldn't slip all nyt had serious painful contractions 10 mins interval. Saw mucus plug wen I wiped later in d morning. Went to the hospital was checked I was jus 2cm dilated, contractions stopped It was so disappointed. Was sent back home only for contractions to come back with full force on getting home I decided to wait it out, wen it became unbearable we headed to the hospital around 9pm after 2 hours of labour and 5 pushes my princess came out I was given a small cut. I wish all waddling mamas safe n easy delivery. Tip for ftm pls conserve your energy during d contractions if possible don't scream too much, I did and almost couldnt push wen it was tym.

Birth Alert!!! I gave birth to my princess on Friday at 10.52 pm through vd, weighing 2.9kg. bs coming soon

JUST BECAUSE DECEMBER IS AROUND THE CORNER

December Mums, hope we are all doing great? 9 days to go before we step into our month! Isn't God faithful? Please let's give a rousing welcome to our newest member, Classic01 You are very much welcome dear, may the rest of the pregnancy journey be easy for you and for all of us.

It's time again for another ROLL CALL. Some of us still haven't updated our EDD and / or baby gender @ phundek, Ammy5565,ArewaBOG, AbbynHummy, Buccee, iamfruitful04, and Sugarbuns, apart from the team surprise mums and that has been duly noted, please let's do well to update that.

It's amazing none of us has ported just yet to team Nov. Welldone mamas, we are the real pushers and waddlers. @i.omoge2, we are earnestly waiting for the baton to be passed on to us.

We should all be in our 35th and above week now. Thanks be to God for coming this far. Please if you are yet to pack your hospital bag, let's try and do so this week. Baby can come anytime from now and it's better to be well prepared. The Lord is our strength. He that has started this good work in us will bring it to completion at the perfect time.

Oya time for roll call for team December
Pls Shout aye if you hear your name, don't forget to update with your baby's gender and EDD if you haven't done so. I'm sure we are all doing okay but just wanna be double sure.

As we gallantly step into the 3rd trimester, my prayer is that it will be easier than the first two. But let's help ourselves by minimising bending (I'm guilty of this one ), eating right, not just large volumes of high carb foods but nutritious foods in moderate quantities (fruits, veggies, smoothies and fluids)

Let's remember that our LOs are rapidly adding weight at this stage so don't be too shocked if when you step on that scale, what you see surprises you. Who's neck is getting darker? Nose getting wider? Milk factory getting bigger? Shortness of breath especially after climbing the stairs? _{Kpekusing getting clumsier?} It's all part of the package so let's embrace it with joy because very soon, we will miss pregnancy days, the kicks, LO turning and flipping inside us and the likes.

How's the shopping going? God's provision will never cease in our homes and may we never lack all we need to take care of our little ones, Amen.

Whatever we can buy before we hit the 35th week mark let's try and get because we never can tell when LO will decide to come. Though we pray our babies come when God says. Now is also the time to seriously start looking into the various birth plans our respective hospitals have planned out for pregnant women. The internet is there to watch videos and prep our minds. Also, let's learn from other mum's past experiences...

Let's feel free to come in here and ask questions, read birth stories and wish other mamas well as they put to bed. May others rejoice with us too when it's our time

Welcome to the month of August, may it be a wonderful and testimony-filled month for us and our households, Amen. Hope we've all been fine and enjoying this blissful stage of our pregnancies?

It's time for another roll call. We thank God for bringing us this far in this amazing life changing journey. We should be in our 22nd, 21st, 20th and about 19th week now. I'm sure some of us have checked our baby's gender. Kindly mention me or answer present so your due date and gender can be updated. Team Blue is baby boy, Team pink baby girl while if you would prefer not to say or don't want to check baby's gender, you are team Surprise, everyone's wishes will be respected.

Pls do not let us stop praying for our teammates that have suffered a loss, we can say a prayer for them anytime we remember their monikers. That'll go a long way and we trust that God will surprise them soon and they will be back with testimonies.
