Nigerian coach Sunday Oliseh has been sacked by Dutch club Fortuna Sittard just three weeks after leading the club to their first title in 21 years. Oliseh was appointed as coach of Fortuna Sittard in December 2016 with the club on the verge of relegation from the Eerste Divisie, the second-highest tier of football in the Netherlands.
This season, Fortuna Sittard have impressed under the former Super Eagles boss and were on Friday, January 12 named Second-period champion of Eerste Divisie after beating Ajax Jong 2-1.
The win which Fortuna’s seventh consecutive wins made the Second Period champions of the Dutch Eerste Divisie. That was their first title in 21 years. They are currently third on the Eerste Divisie table just two points behind leaders NEC are still in the fight for promotion to the Eredivisie.
Fall out with club's management
Despite these feats, Oliseh is said to be sacked by Fortuna Sittard after he reportedly fell out with the club’s management.
According to Dutch football website, VI, the club management have been unhappy over his autonomous style of management and his open criticism of his players. While Fortuna Sittard have not confirmed Oliseh’s sack, some reports state that Oliseh’s relationship with the club’s management has totally broken down.
According to Sittard Geleen Oliseh is overseeing training as at the time of this report. Sittard Geleen also reports that the Fortuna Sittard had overlooked Oliseh’s strong-handed approached because of the good results he was getting. However after their the excellent KNVB Cup run came to an end with a home 4-2 loss to Az Alkmaar in December 2017, Oliseh’s team started to decline.
After a 3-0 loss away at Dordrecht on Friday, January 19, Oliseh opening criticised his players saying that only 12 players who can play at Eerste Divisie level. This comment infuriated players which has dampened the atmosphere in the club.
As a sign of how bad things have gotten at the club, Sittard Geleen reports that Oliseh stayed in the dugout all through the Sittard’s home 2-1 loss to FC Emmen on Friday, January 26.

A housewife who had given out her husband's car to a pastor from Enugu State, without her husband's consent, has caused tension in her home causing the man of God to return the vehicle.

A pastor, Raphael Obi, has admitted sucking the breast of women that visit him for deliverance.

The suspect, popularly known as Pastor Sharp Sharp, disclosed this while being interrogated by detectives at the Area M Command, Idimu.

In his confessional statement to the police, Raphael said that his brand of deliverance ministry involved sucking of women’s breasts.

The suspect, who hails from Enugu State, explained that he sucked women’s breasts to deliver them from killer diseases, including cancer.

He added that after sucking thoroughly, the woman being delivered would not be affected with such diseases in future.

“I received this call from God and I have delivered many women in the past”, a police source who spoke to Daily Trust quoted him.

The pastor was arrested last Thursday while performing “deliverance” on the wife of a member of his church located on Abaranje Road by Cele bus stop, Ikotun, Lagos State.

The police at Area M Command, Idimu, Alimosho local government area, arrested Obi for alleged gross misconduct, sucking of breasts and engaging victims in marathon sex in the guise of deliverance.

During a raid on his house at the weekend, operatives discovered some charms he tied on baby dolls, which they removed and brought to the police station as exhibits.

Police said Obi would soon be charged to court for misconduct.

The General Overseer of the Mountain of liberation and Miracle Ministries, a.k.a Liberation City, Pastor Chris Okafor, has again attacked Pastor, Tunde Bakare, of the Latter Rain Assembly for not speaking out on the current state of the nation.
Pastor Chris noted that when former President Goodluck Jonathan was in government, Tunde Bakare led the Save Nigeria group to stage a protest against him over some decisions his administration took.
The pastor claims because Tunde Bakare benefits from this government, he has not spoken out.
In a viral video, the pastor said, “When Jonathan was in office, some pastors like Tunde Bakare will lead millions of Nigerians on “save Nigerian soul.”
“I'm surprised that when Nigerian soul need to be saved now, Tunde Bakare has not stood to save Nigeria’s soul.
“Because of what they benefiting from the government they cannot speak. Shame on Tunde Bakare. Shame onto him.
“Why? This is Christian fighting against Christian. What is the offence of Jonathan that this government has not done? Pastor Tunde Bakare, they will close ojota, and will say "save Nigeria" Nigeria needs to be saved now than ever.

Tanzanian police have deemed a controversial, self-proclaimed prophet mentally ill. According to the Dodoma Police Commander, the condition was disclosed following a medical check-up on Nabii Tito.

The 44-year-old Tito, real name Onesmo Machibya made headlines after he was pictured preaching with a Bible on one hand and a bottle of beer in the other.

Viral photos of Prophet Tito kissing his wife and house help have been doing rounds on social media leaving many astounded.

While making the announcement on Tito’s mental health at a press briefing, Commander Gilles Muroto warned the preacher against preaching controversial messages about Christianity.

Muroto accused Tito of incitement against religion and misleading his followers with a non-existent doctrine.

Nabii Tito’s case comes just few months after a church known as Louzolo Amour in Congo was exposed for preaching that drinking beer can cast out demons.

Founded by Guy Emile Loufoua Cetikouabo, he proclaimed himself God and his followers claim that he is invisible. Cetikouabo’s representative on earth is one Charles Mikoungui Loundou who is also the church leader.

Speaking to African News, one of the church’s followers confessed that “I arrived here sick, brother Mikoungui gave me a bottle of beer, I drank a first sip, and a second, at the third one, I went into a trance, I then felt better.”
