As a lawyer her rape claim is weak. Save facts are twisted. I don't want to say much. In law we don't just look at express consent. We have implied consent too and all her actions can be construed as implied. It could have made a lot of difference if she had reported to the police when she was first raped. Instead she stayed all through and even went shopping with the said rapist. Like seriously that dumb. If she's being cross examined she will shed tears. Why are you in the hotel room? How many days did you stay? You had the chance to leAve but u didn't? You went shopping after the rape with the assailant? Did you report to the police? Where is your doctors report,? Do you have corroboration? Why did you exchange nude pics with the accused? What did you do when you found out he was married? lol... These your cross examination questions will even be giving her time to think and explain. If she meets someone like me, my boss or any lawyer that had worked with him, after the cross-examination she would not hesitate to withdraw her case against the man. In my firm, we ask closed questions couched in a way that you would even unknowingly implicate yourself. She should not bother suing else she would be slaughtered in Court. Most lawyers have zero chill!

This her case would be hard to win!The girl is very stupiiiidddd. So you travelled to go see a stranger without carrying any money.. Not even money to bring u back home? The man kept on raping you but she had energy to leave the hotel room to the pool side? Chilling things i guess. What stops her from calling any family member or friend to send her money. He raped you but took you shopping and you picked stuffs!Wawu. From a legal point of view, this case is dead on arrival! She clearly consented impliedly because at no point in time was she under false imprisonment. She could have left at any time!

I just wanted to share my experience from buying hair on instagram and how I was scammed
So I bought weave from a seller on instagram called @gleevirginhair @mummyglee
The hair I bought was Vidia baby which was supposedly the best quality for a total of £245 including postage. N102k+ N8k shipping+ £4.55 dhl fee
First of all, she didn’t let me know I’ll be incurring an additional £5 for shipping which upset me cause I thought N8k covered everything but whatever I paid it.
Basically, long story short she sent me something that feels like fibre hair and refused to give me a refund. She then immediately went on to block me meaning she intentionally sent me fake hair.
The hair sheds like silly. Literally do not understand how ‘human double drawn hair’ can shed so badly and feel synthetic.
This is literally my worst vendor experience. Anyway this is an advice for anyone thinking of buying. Don’t! She is ripping people off selling fake quality hair and advertising falsely

Just don’t want anyone else to fall victim to her scam. It’s not right! People work hard for their money

Madam, sorry about your experience. It's really sad that she didn't even offer any compensation or even an apology. Blocking a client is very inhumane. If the hair is human hair at all, u can go have it treated. Hopefully u can salvage whatever is left of it so your money doesn't waste totally.

Most of hair sellers in Instagram mix their hairs ..I too have had bad experiences ..I am not trying to advertise here.. I think you should try Queenzhairsandwig on Instagram and she is on nairaland ..her hairs are original and cheap.. I've patronised her for almost a year and no regret

Many sellers sell hair because they like the biz,for me it's a passion that i have had since 2012.So before i import any hair, i ask the right questions and do my due diligence to ensure i am bringing in a good grade hair that won't spoil business for me.

That's why Nigeria cannot be great, what stops jumia from connecting you with the seller?It's quite sad though, take heart. Recently i ordered wedding rings from a jewelry shop on aliexpress. When it arrived (took two weeks and some days), one wasn't a size 8 it was a 7(too small for my finger) .I quickly sent the seller a message, with pictures showing the difference in size for both rings sent.

He told me shipping is expensive so tthey can give me a replacement if I make a small order, so both can be shipped together, or they can give me a discount voucher .I loved that ring and need it badly for my wedding, so I ended up buying two more rings and seller agreed to ship them with the ring that was too small. I even got to keep the small ring, and still they are sending me another with a gift for my patronage .

That's how it should be, see how they made amends that at the end of the day, everyone goes home happy!If na konga or jumia that money don go o. They would never offer to compensate you in any way! The day i read the terms and conditions for jumia overseas shipping policy, i knew it would be a big mistake to order anything ..

I don't know where OP decided that things are cheap or value for money in Ghana - they are not.

Everything costs at least 50% more in Ghana.

Medicine that costs 1500 in Nigeria costs the equivalent of 10k in Ghana. Even the price at MMIA is cheaper.

Even Ghanaian kente cloth is cheaper in Lagos than Accra.

Electricity tariffs are at least double.

Water costs more. The food that your gateman will buy costs three to four times as much as what your gateman will pay in Nigeria.

And they don't have 24 hours electricity, the situation is better than Nigeria but they do have to run generator for roughly 10 hours a week, probably more during the dry season.

What I do like is that driving in Ghana is calmer but again, Accra does not have as many good roads as Abuja, Lagos, Kano or even somewhere like Calabar or Uyo. Which means that while there are fewer cars the traffic can become a real nuisance, especially on Liberation Road and Spintex.

Hahahahaha you are right o. I just no get power to type. When i went during Easter, I visited mokola Market, the kente I saw was 1500 per yard. It wasn't even a quality ankara. My aunt told me to chill and buy at Laconji border.. Na there i finally buy, nice ones of 4-6 yards for 3-5k..Food is expensive also, even inside at shoprite! Plus their cuisines are not it at all. I only enjoyed one drink called 5 fingers. A friend took me to a spot at labadi area to have that with chicken wings and shitor.I visited Labadi Beach near my hotel, it was so dirty and crowded.I had to leave earlier than I planned. The roads from Labadi area to the mall and even circle were quite good with beautiful scenery. Maybe because i travelled alone. Next trip is to a beach resort in Gambia!

As it is, the judge has a discretion to reduce d prescribed sentence. His discretion can be applied to reduce the recommended sentence based on the circumstances of the case. I think that was what happened here. My colleague is just telling me that evidence was led to show that the husband has been beating her, so much that she had miscarried pregnancies several times. Neighbors came to testify to the beatings during trial . You can now imagine the anger she felt learning that the same man that was beating her up, made her lose pregnancies because of the abuse, had a child outside Nigeria.She cudnt get a grip on her emotions and obviously didn't think it through before stabbing him. I am sure the fact that it was a crime of passion and her being a first offender influenced the Judge's decision to sentence her to 7 years imprisonment .
