olasubomy: You can approach it from the angle of not just attaching documents but making it believable. In response to your question.
Support document(s)- Proof of Landed Property:
1. Take a picture of the property (Paste into a Word document and fit into one page). Let this be on the first page. 2. Certificate of Ownership (C of O) - Second Page 3. Copy of the most recent utility bill paid (e.g Nepa Bill) - Third page
Support document(s) - Proof of Business: 1. Certificate of Incorporation - (Check CAC website to be sure your business is currently on active status). 2. Evidence of the most recent tax returns filed for the business 3. Copy of CAC 2 &7 documents with your name listed as director or owner to demonstrate your controlling stake in the business.
You can attach other support documents you think make sense. I listed the basic key ones you can work with. Organise your documents to be simple and easy for the officer to follow. Thanks |

keleto: Pls can someone help me out on this.
My wife have up to 30th of this month to submit passport to VFS. She booked appointment with vfs abuja (but did biometric in lagos) and they are giving her 20th of this month and there is no account number to pay the transmission fee. Also the date they gave her is too far. Don't know what to do. There are lots of complaints about unnecessary delay at lagos vfs. Can she just submit in person at Lagos . Is it allowed. You can bypass the whole appointment thing by using courier to submit (I used UPS) u can use them or DHL (Both is good). You don’t need appointments to use them, and u will get ur passport back in let’s say 2 weeks time. |

OkukuOne: If she have a very detailed SOP/LOI for him to join her ASAP, then, I think it's wise she applies for him now. Those study permit and proof of enrolment can be shared via a webform.
Good luck! @Okukuone Please with this, is there chances he will get the visa while the wife is still in Nigeria so they can travel together, like as it ever happened before ? |

Toceen2022: I understand you... But my point is not about excitement. It's about providing important information about Port of entry requirements. If solid information were not provided on this platform, majority of us will not be able to do it ourselves. So, providing information about what was asked before gaining that final entry to the country is equally important, as the processing of the application. And it's not a must we put that up immediately when we meet our family, what about days or few weeks after. It'll help many families with kids on study or visit visa, and also the spouse with work permit.
Someone here told me how her 2 kids and her were nearly turned back at Pearson airport because she didn't expect the questions that were asked. She initially asked here that what are the requirements and possibly questions at the port of entry, and no one was able to provide any information... That wouldn't have been if we do drop landing gist.
Don't forget that questions that may be asked from a study permit holder will be different from work permit. And having a visa does not automatically mean entry into the country. Don't ever think such landing gist is not equally important! That's my point! Please the person you are talking about kindly ask the her to share her experience and POE questions she was asked with us |

Am new on this trend (i have read almost 150 pages silently tho; lol) I came from the study trend, I got my PPR all thanks to God.
I will be applying for my husband and 3 kids. But the thing is my last child did not by any means reflect in my application, my medical request came after I had so even medical can’t show her.
MY QUESTIONS ARE: 1, how can I prove my last born in this new application.
2, my admission is sept 2023, if I apply now (since am still in Nigeria) is it possible they get visa so we all can go together. (It’s not possible to leave without my baby).
Or, is it compulsory I travel first to get SIN, study permit etc before they will attend to them.
@kukuone @prof @access @everyone in house please help me ooo |

Bamz555: Lol. Okay first off, do u have enough POF for them? Secondly, what’s ur plan for home ties? Thirdly, it’s worth the try my sis, u may think it will not work nd then, boom! It works. The fact that it didn’t work for mr. A doesn’t mean it will not work for u too. U need to package a very strong nd convincing SOP, I can assist to review nd help u add some explanation to it. We will use ur new baby nd the rest as a strong reason why they should consider their application. I have a believe it will work if u package it well, ur leverage is ur new baby plus u will need ur husband to take care of the family and support while u school. It’s gonna worth the try! Congratulations on ur Visa approval Thanks bamz555 you just pour me cold water for chest lol. |

Bernice123456: Ahhh Why didn't you apply together with them? Do you now have enough money to apply as a family? What of hometies for them? I am not sure if you can apply for them while you are still here. Maybe you should send a webform.... Because I think if they start the application, it will be required to fill your Canadian address.. I'm not too sure Let others respond.
Congratulations on your PPR. I'm happy for you Thanks We have applied as a family last year and we were refused. I got the idea here on nairaland to apply alone first |
