My Virginity Story; Rape & Depression

When I was in the Big Brother House emotions were raised when during a Truth or Dare game I said I'd not really had sex.

People interpreted that as me claiming to be a Virgin.

The truth is in 2016 I was raped by someone in the entertainment industry, before then I was a Virgin. This person also infected me with an STI... I was also threatened by this person and was very scared of social media's bashing with the usual questions of "what was she wearing!" " why did she go to his house ?"... so in all my sadness and depression I decided to tell the world what had happened to me using film as a medium. 
I was inspired to write and produce my film - Tears of A Broken Virgin. I got a lot of help from social media - people volunteered to work for me free of charge even my director - Benny Atagame Alli

Though some parts of my film is fiction, the bulk of it was inspired by my story. The lead character's name is Ada which is a short form of my name Adanne- popularly pronounced as Ennada.

Because of my sad experience I battled depression, developed trust issues and found it hard to connect with people especially men.

I wanted to tell my story and also pass a strong message to rape victims and rapists...I hope I was able to do that with my film. 
I intend to expand this into a feature length film. I hope everyone out there is inspired to stand up against rape.

According to reports, Two final year students of the Abia State University "Kelechi Elendu and Charles Benjamin Ngozichukwuka" died after drowning.

The two students, who were said to be cultists (buccaneers), drowned on Sunday, during a boat ride, as sailors, in Ebonyi State.

The Ghanaian police arrested Kesiena Blessing Kagi, alias KessBillions, 21, at his hideout at Community 20 in Tema on Friday, March 9, 2018.

KessBillions, as he was popularly known among his fellow criminals, was on the police wanted list for the robbery of a forex bureau at Teshie on Wednesday, January 31, 2018.

KessBillions was also said to have led a gang of robbers to attack a company at Community Nine Light Industrial Area, Tema.

The IGP said other suspects in the forex bureaux robbery gang — Prince Wanganga, Gift Wanganga, alias Festus; John Ani, Prince Yfuah and Okoro Amulley — had been arrested earlier.

He said KessBillions and the other five suspects were all Nigerians. He said a check on KessBillions’s passport, number A07598838, revealed that he was a native of Warri.

KessBillions frequently comes to Ghana, with his last being on January 19, 2018, with a 90-day stay permit.

Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, has apologised to a teenage girl after he spat in her face and her mum branded him “disgusting”.

The ex footballer was caught on camera aiming a mouthful of saliva at the passenger window of a car containing the 14-year-old Manchester United fan and her dad after Saturday’s Red Devils victory over the Anfield outfit.

She claimed the spittle hit her on the forehead and made her cry. The dad said “a bit of banter” with the former defender turned ugly after he mentioned the 2-1 scoreline.

And he insisted the TV star must have seen his daughter in the passenger seat. Carragher, who had been covering the match as a Sky Sports pundit, phoned the girl and her father on Sunday night and said: “I just want to apologise and I hope you are OK.”

The youngster told him: “OK, thanks for apologising.” He had earlier admitted he was in the wrong but claimed he lost the plot after the ribbing went on too long.

The 40-year-old said: “It was a bit more than, ‘Hiya Jamie, it was 2-1’. It went on for two or three times. I drove away at first and it just continued. I lost my head.

I shouldn’t have done it but I was thinking what is a grown man doing, carrying on like that two or three times with his daughter in the car?
