Nigeria is rich enough to subsidise fuel at ₦100 per liter, if Govt cuts down on cost of governance and effectively fights corruption.

Unfortunately, Tinubu's modus operandi is impoverishing the masses to settle the elites and his interest groups.

Nigerians except happy slaves + those comfortable with the current situation, are coming out to protest peacefully against hunger and hardship.

Right, the Governor is dealing with his perceived political enemies, although in this case, Nwanosike admitted he violated the law.
But as a citizen, I'm more concerned with good governance than taking sides in their fight.

One of the vital keys for good governance is to block all loopholes for looting by public officials.

Well, it's the job of police to deal with any potential violence.
You can't because of fear of violence, deny people their fundamental rights to protest.

Better still, Tinubu can do the needful and avert the protests.

This would have been the sensible thing to do in any sane clime.
But then Nigeria is not a sane clime.
Even if they attempt to do an audit, it will all end in a media charade with nobody held accountable at the end of the day.

Their grievances are justified. There is so much wealth coming out of those oil-producing communities with little or nothing to show for it.

If not that they're in the minority, there would have been strong agitations for secession.

The protests will likely escalate out of control. Reason being that there is widespread hunger in the land. And we all know that a hungry man is an angry man.

But then protest is fundamental right of a citizen.

Honestly, some top shots need to go to jail for sanity to return to this country.

So much irregularities and sharp practices in the sector. Not what a meeting can just solve.

So farmers can go back to farm
Reform police
Put back the subsidy he removed as there is still corruption with or without subsidy
Open borders
Reduce import duties drastically
Fix power supply,no body will be bothered about fuelling gen
Stop multiple taxation
Put friendly polices to bring back investors (job creation)

why do you think that the NLC always threatened strike on several occasions, were invited by tinubu to be "addressed", then all of a sudden they suspend the strike after being 'addressed"?

why do you think the NLC went on strike for minimum wage and called it off after 24hours without achieving anything with the flimsy excuse that they called off the strike to enable them negotiate?

NLC knows that they are saying. It's you that does not understand. It's the same way NLC always made noise about strike and minimum wage. With each noise, they got invitation and Tinubu "addressed" their grievances. In the end, they called if the strikes and settled for 70k.
