Physical protests does not work in the Nigerian context. This we know. However, Nigerians have since 1999 had a weapon they have for reasons best known to them refused to use. Now is the best time to start using that very weapon and to do so as freely as possible before it is deprived them by the criminals in power. Their power to vote out their incompetent (both elected & non elected(talking of those who rigged themselves into power)) representatives both at local and national levels lies dormant to this moment and really ought to be activated at this point in time. Or at least before the future for this generation,and others after have been completely shattered by the thieves in power.

The Kenyans protesting are not doing so for a one Kenyan but for the fact that they all do not want to be taxed to death. Stop brandishing this one Nigeria. It is not a good enough excuse because no one region in that country is clean as far as corruption and criminality have become the daily reality. Even if you split Nigeria into 100 parts, I can guarantee you that these same problems will continue to affect every single partition and will continue unabated until the people stand to fight it head-on.
