You are still assenting to my point that people's allegiance is to their regions or ethnic Nationalities.

Even SE that declared they would not be part of the protests; it's not because they are satisfied with the Govt of the day, but because they don't want to be unduly victimised and used as scapegoat.

Point is Nigeria is not a Nation. We are better off existing as our different Ethnic Nationalities. That's where our allegiance lie.

You are OK if there are protests and mayhem in other regions provided it does not affect your region.

Another evidence that Nigeria is not a Nation but a forced Geographical Contraption of diverse ethnic Nationalities that are not ready to unite and function as one.

People are not ready to die for and defend Nigeria but are ready to die for and defend their ethnic Nationalities.

People are OK if there are protests and mayhem in other regions provided their regions are not affected.

Even the President has this same mentality.

Easier said than done.
Tinubu is obviously overwhelmed by the current situation on ground.
His mentality from onset was that it was his turn to be president. He never sat down to analyse the problems and challenges of ruling this country.

Even the removal of subsidy on his 1st day in office was spontaneous. He neither thought about the far-reaching consequences nor thought about proactive measures to cushion the effect of the FS removal.

Our fundamental problem in this country is that Ethnic Interests are considered ahead of National Interests.

Even if a messiah emerges from Igbo, some Nigerians will rather vote a dunce who is their tribesman.
Even if the president is running the country aground, they are OK because the president is their tribesman.
This is not directed at one tribe - all the tribes are guilty.

Merit and Excellence have been sacrificed on the altar of Nepotism and Quota System.

Nigeria can not make any meaningful progress like this. The earlier we tell ourselves the truth and act on it, the better. 🤔

Livestock development is a big deal in Nigeria, it will reduce the conflicts between farmers and herders as far as the agency will be run for the good of everybody. It's normal to create special agencies for issues like this

The solution to conflicts between farmers and herders is to ban Open Grazing and encourage Ranching. That's how it is done in civilised countries.

The creation of a new ministry for Cattle development when we already have Ministry of Agriculture, is a political move by Tinubu to pacify those Northern cattle rearers.
