It no longer works that way. The party agents insist voters go and vote first and then show the ballot paper openly to them before inserting in ballot box, the party agents stand there and watch, then they write the voter's name and tell him to go to a different location to collect 4 cups of dirty rice, jollof rice or 3 packets of noodle. The SHOCKING thing is a lot of the vote sellers are happy with the deal.

And the voters don't even care about open secret ballot system.

As I implied, it becomes an issue if anyone is compelled to vote against his conscience.

I was offered Soft drink & bottle water in my Polling Unit (though with no conditions attached). I accepted & was not inhibited in any way to vote my choice.

Fact that results were not immediately uploaded from Political Units after completion of voting process contrary to INEC Electoral guidelines, made the entire process subject to all manner of manipulations & rigging.
