Nice2023: Married men...marriage can make u live longer than ur peers who aren't married.
Marriage makes u emotionally balanced compare to peers who are proudly single.
Married men live healthier lifestyles than their peers who are single.
Marriage acts as a buffer to trends that could cut ur life shorts.
Generally speaking, marriage is good for men and women generally. Kemical23: You are also right.. I will not type much but from experience marriage is so so important, just marry your friend or imagine two people coming together in helping each other. You just need the right partner to enjoy marriage but just that to find that right person is very difficult that is why majority of us just manage what we see after long time searching for the right partner.. You didn't put the huge UNLESS. Unless you marry the wrong person, which most people will!

It's not good call someone mumu but in your case I'm tempted. Can't you see that in all the instances you narrated FEAR made the person return the item NOT Juju! Can't you see that the easiest thing juju can do is simply say where kidnappers are with their victims. That will be the end of kidnapping. Yet juju can't do something so simple! |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Most Israelis Believe Iran Won Mideast War, Poll Finds by QuinQQ: 7:54pm On Jun 22 |
TheGift: You're very funny. Did the US tell you that they were going to war to learn lessons? And are they the only ones that can learn? Do you not realize that Iran has been able to sustain this war because of the lessons learnt from previous attacks.?
One thing which is becoming clearer to me is that you think wars are won or lost purely from a militaristic dimension but that is so narrow minded
I know you like speculations but these are the undisputable facts;
1. The US failed to destroy Iran's nuclear program (set back only ~months, not eliminated)
2. Iran's government survived; hardliners were empowered rather than weakened
3. US is in a weaker position than before the war with no long-term strategic gains
4. Iran's closure of the Strait of Hormuz blocked a vital shipping lane
5. The war handed a windfall to Russia (which has sold weapons to Iran, and has benefitted from america's distraction from Ukraine) and weakened US strategic edge against China.
6. US depleted Tomahawk missiles and other munitions needed for more dangerous adversaries
7. Six out of seven American military bases in the region were bombed without any meaningful resistance
8. America's moral reputation and reputation for effective governance has suffered globally
9. American has lost support of its main allies particularly in the Europe.
10. Gas prices in the US Rose from ~$3/gallon to ~$4/gallon (38% increase); later breached $4.50/gallon. Americans paid $8.4 Billion more for gas in just the first month of the war
11. Nearly 1/3 of Americans reduced spending/savings due to higher fuel costs
12. The cost of the war is estimated to have exceeded $1 billion daily , a ridiculously high amount spent on strategic objectives that have not been met, even though you ridiculously think it is worth it for the lessons learnt about Hormuz.
13. America is not even able to properly handle the peace talks that it has been pushing for.
14. America and Isreal who started the war together, are now at loggerheads.
I could go on, but these are just a few of the UNDISPUTABLE facts.
Majority of Americans are not in support of the war, yet you from a country described by Trump as a "shithole" are still here supporting it,- even though the war almost doubled fuel prices in your country.and you are paying more for food because of it.
Robert Kagan , a senior fellow in the Brookings Institute (one of the most influential think tanks in America stated: "this is essentially a complete victory for Iran and a significant loss for the United States".
These are people.who are more.informed than most on these topics, but you want me take your own assurance based on specualtions about the midterms? Like I said, you're very funny. You are the one very funny, actually COMPARING US to Iran. What lesson did Iran learn? They started laying mines in Hormuz years ago, so it's not like this war taught them that. You're fund of posting this conjectural list everywhere. Everything you posted is reversible - example, same alies are praising Trump for the Iran deal. And you forget Trump (or any president after him) can still obliterate Iran and by then there'll no longer be midterms or Hormuz as deterance! So here is an OBJECTIVE list of actual permanent (Not "maybe" losses: Before the war Ayatollah and all the top echelons who perpetrated torture on civilians, and their potential successors, were alive. Before the war 6000 Iranian soldiers were alive. Before the war Iran had Navy, Airforce, and air defence. Before the war trillions in Iranian infrastructure were not destroyed. Before the war Iranian economy was not destroyed and in deep depression, now it is. Before the war Iran didn't have highest inflation rate since 1940's (200%) Before the war Iran had nuclear in mind, now the furthest thing from their mind is nuclear weapons. Before the war US was NOT the highest oil exporter in the world, now it is. Before the war US core inflation rate was 2.5%, now it is 2.9%. See it below Before the war, no one thought a country would engage in the terrorist act of attacking uninvolved commercial ships at sea. Now it'd be dealt with and SOLVED like other potential terrorist acts. US is granting ACCESS to Iran to their frozen funds, NOT directly releasing money to them to buy whatever they wish. The money is paid to third party suppliers, which in most cases is US! Now that it is known Iran can go so low, Gulf state countries' defense systems will now be upgraded so they'd be Iran-proof like those ships used for blockade - and they now know they'd have to contribute substantially instead of just going around being extremely rich! US learnt a lot from the war and will be incorporating these lessons into their defense structure going forward (and they have excess money to do it). Iran will be struggling to get back to where they were before the war. US made a lot money because oil prices went up. Iran lost a lot of money because they couldn't sell their oil! https://www.nairaland.com/8685540/red-meat-dream-iran-inflation

Sonnobax15:
Even tho it's almost too late but I must it's a welcomed development.
The rate at which young boys and girls of nowadays smokes, i know 5+ years from now,mad people will be so surplus across our societies
The funniest thing is that when such people living wayward lifestyles come across people like us who don't smoke or womanize, they see us as low esteem people
This morning,I got to my shop and the first person I saw was a boy of let's say 20 years old, smoking away his life, while his girlfriend was just sitting beside him, watching This dude was looking so gentle and calm .
Our govt really need to step up and fight against this vices contaminating our societies. So that we don't end up blaming others for the rot it'd cause in the future just like the south Africans are doing to other black Africans No comment at all on the ashwawo they're most angry about. Hmmmm.. Bendeco02: There's nothing bad in smoking.
If it's not good in your body, just quit it.
As Onitsha guy, smoke don't stop us from achieving our goals.
Smoke is our culture You could have a point as shown below. Life is not as 1+1=2 as we think. But don't forget ashawo. It is also your culture, no?

Even if they are the same, Tinubu has been tested and has failed. Let others come and try too. Not only that, frankly APC, Buhari, Tinubu, NEED to be PUNISHED for bringing Nigeria to where they have now brought us, instead of being rewarded with a 4th term! That is natural law. |
