iLegendd: Mr. Bunkum!!! Rubbish reply. I was even thinking you were smart.
Simple question, you went on a tangent bragging about 9-5 job and closing in office. Office people that are struggling to feed? You think that makes us see you as a responsible husband? Nah! You're slaving.
This is the same mistake my dad also made. It's always about 9-5, pension, when I close from work/office (slavery), etc. Ten years later, after retirement, they didn't pay him.
They devalued the Naira 5 times and finally paid him those millions he used to talk about, but guess what? The money can't even buy a decent car anymore. If he had gotten just 1 million and invested it in BTC in 2010, do you know how much it would be now?
You old government agents are outdated. The moment you land yourself a civil servant Job, you always feel you've made it and every other person is lazy or uneducated. Always operating with old Windows' OS.
It's always about salary and pension. Every other thing, crypto, is a scam to you civil servants, but na una dey born full house pass and allow your children to struggle to survive.
This evil agent will still come here to tell us how Nigerian breweries have changed lives in creating jobs, but won't talk about the lives they have destroyed consuming alcohol or wasting money on alcohol.
Mr. Bunkum, you can't say anything tangible. You'll take an excuse and run or rant, mark my word.
If you want to add value to the country, it's agriculture and technology, which crypto is part of technology.
You mumu o! Look at him talking about office as if his salary is up to $1k per month. Slavery fits you sha.
Come to my village and see people who produce original alcohol called kaikai from tombo drink and they supply them to medical hospitals, but this Mr. Bunkum is bragging about a company that refines it just to render men useless in exchange for their time and salary which will still be spent on food and technology.
Mr. Workaholic, your mumu never too much?
I know you'll talk about the jobs the brewery has created, but you won't talk about the devalued currency the workers will be paid, the danger the company poses to humanity and worse, how the workers will spend 90% of that valueless salary on food (agriculture) and transportation (technology).
Why can't you advise your evil government to focus on agriculture and technology? With great technology, bandits won't exist, but no, the government prefers breweries and Mr. Bunkum is here to brag about it. You people are evil. You're the reason Nigeria hardly progresses.
You have mentioned breweries a couple of times in your rant on this thread and that means you work there.
At least, you should've mentioned Innoson manufacturing, Dangoté cement/fertilizer, etc. these are companies that help in technology and agriculture, but your dmb brain went with brewery.
I'll never take you seriously. GovernmentAgent or MR Bunkum. |

haleymoon: Perfectly timing the market is very difficult, that's why taking profit along is necessary so that you won't lose out totally I invested in PEPE and within a few days, my money doubled (X2). I had high hopes of it increasing even more, potentially up to X5, before I sold it. However, the constant advice to 'take profits' prompted me to withdraw 82% of my capital. Right now, this dip has wiped out the remaining funds in my PEPE investment. Despite this, I feel very relieved and very happy. |

Mfunkynation: I don't think there's a need for this question ! what do you want to use it for? I believe the moment he decided to sell, his parameters for taking profits must have been confirmed and subsequently taking action on whatever that reason may be. No strategy is 100% perfect, they all have their own cons and pros but persistently, patiently, stubbornly sticking to them for the long haul, they are sure to deliver awesomely. This is a probabilistic field, no one knows what this or that stock will do next. In all probabilistic fields, those who tends to do well such as investors, football coaches, professional gamblers are usually those that are PROCESS FOCUSED instead of OUTCOME FOCUSED. They find and stick to a process, no matter the disappointment. Now if he purchase the stock at 1 Naira and sold all back at 1 Naira then the story is totally different. |

EponObi:
Lmaooooo... Since I made my first post on this thread, I've seen a bunch of ignoramuses creeping in from their abode of stup!dity.
You all want to keep buying the dollar. Some even adviced the OP to average down. Abeg don't kill me with laughter.
What fundamentals will make the dollar increase from here? Abeg lecture me! What do you think will make the dollar increase against the naira from here on?
In trading, there's something called "the meat of the move is done", meaning that the deed has been done - the naira crash trend is over.
- Cardoso has successfully tamed the BDC - He has tamed the banks too - Dude and the EFCC are going hard after the forex street traders - Dangote Refinery has started distributing diesel (diesel price has crashed and massive forex saved) - Dangote will commence petrol distribution in few months (very likely price will crash or at least stabilize around 500-600; even more massive forex will be saved) - The FG is gradually pumping the brakes on electricity subsidy (more revenue to be saved) - BUA refinery is coming online by next year to compete with Dangote (expect more petrol price crashes) - From the look of things, it seems Cardoso has started pegging the dollar rate
All these are happening and you think it's wise to keep investing in the dollar against the naira?
If you have sense, you should have at least noticed that the prices of goods and commodities has started coming down albeit slightly and for the most part, the surge in price has halted.
By June, local farm harvest will start hitting the market, thereby crashing the prices of foodstuffs. Lol
Many of you are playing with fire. It's better you take your money and go play 2 odds instead of cooking your brains with delusions of naira crashing back to 1900. Or rather go buy land and real estate with your money. The era of fast profit with the naira-dollar swap is over - generationally over!
Don't play! Or else, you gonna 'laaaarn'
Even multinational companies with top tier, world class financial analysts and trading experts chopped The Cardoso Koboko ; dem dey declare outrageous losses because of that naira volatility but you think you, with your #500k, are the Peter Durry of currency trading. ok, continue!
From the look of things, it seems dollar rate will continue hovering around 1100-1300 perhaps until the end of the year. And this Tinubu that I know will most definitely return dollar rate below 1000 before the elections in 2027. There was a reason he rushed all his forex saving policies immediately he came on board - the man knew what he was saying when he said "hit the ground running" during the election campaign. All his harsh policies came in very fast wotowoto so that he can have the next 3 years to get results and normalize the economy. You all keep underating the man, over and over and over and over again and it's why it always seem like the game is rigged in his favour.
Lmaoooooo... Like I've said, you gonna 'laaaarn' Lol…Confidently ignorant. |

This discussion is clearly above the mental capacity of a porn addict such as yourself.
My advise is that you concentrate your efforts on your battle with masturbation and leave the floor for better informed and knowledgeable persons to engage me on a debate on the matter on ground! Okay! I still believe your insight on the subject matter is the dumbest (I just do not have any other word to replace this, forgive me if you find my language offensive) thing I have read in a while and i am not emotionally or logically clouded by my addiction. As regards to masturbation, I open to any form of advice in quitting it, if you have one. |
Investment › Re: Rapid Depreciation Of The Naira - The Major Culprit Is Binan.ce by Quitmast: 8:19pm On Feb 20, 2024 |
ElectronicMoney: Just between 9am yesterday 19 February 2024 and now 1.10pm 20 February 2024 the rate on Binan.ce fell from N1,640/1$ to N1,820/1$ and has continued falling!
If anyone was in doubt before it should be very clear now to everyone that the continuous rapid depreciation of the Naira is not being driven by natural market forces of demand and supply but is being fueled by the major crypto exchange Binan.ce.
Hear are my reasons for blaming Binan.ce The rate of exchange on Binan.ce is always higher than the rate in the informal black market If you have traded in physical forex recently you will observe that the rate offered by the mallams is always less and is trying to play catch up with the rate offered by Binan.ce. This is because most clients first check the Binan.ce portal then use the rate there as a basis for negotiating with the physical currency dealers
No fiscal justification for the rapid descent in value of the Naira Due to the high rate of exchange imports have slowed down yet the currency still continues to depreciate rapidly. This is confirmation that the depreciation is not being fueled by macro economic forces but by manipulation
Activities of speculators who are trading in Naira futures on Binan.ce Since the Binan.ce portal introduced a feature for bidding on the Naira on their platform the descent in the value of the Naira has accelerated
The Nigerian government needs to act fast before Binan.ce takes down our economy
Seun Mynd44 Dominique Sometimes I am baffled by how humans can have a strong opinions on something they do not understand. Seriously, this is probably the dumbest article i have read online in a long time. Before CZ was born, the Naira aa been falling. All the way from 1kobo per dollar to 250 Naira per dollar( somewhere around 250 Naira per Dollar; Binanceee was incorporated) Imagine the level of devaluation. This trend as not change a bit over the years. Nigeria itself has gotten worse and keep getting worst in all areas of life since the day it attained independence. A currency is as strong as it economy behind it. A currency is a representation of a country. If the country is conducive, safe, stable, transparent, innovative, it currency will inevitably do well. |
