Leave am. Quivah made me visit this thread. I want the phone but it seems I can't afford that. Phones are in seasons and phases. I used xiaomi power bank for good two years and if not of lightning that destroyed it, I would still be using it now. I believe it's not my time to get it yet. Would relax my mind and stop scouting for the phone. I will definitely meet good deal someday.

Guys, I really don't understand what is happening o.

I was on 8.0.5.0 on my redmi note 3 se. Got an update of 1.2gb yesterday. The update had no description whatsoever which was unusual.

So I went ahead and did the ota update. I was guessing it'll probably take me to 8.1.1.1

To my greatest surprise, after the update, I was still on 8.0.5.0, I was like.. .what da f**k after using 1.2gb data.

The only consolation for me is that battery life has improved tremendously. I now get 1hr SOt for every 10% battery used. Currently my battery is on 60% and I have SOT of 4hrs on 4g network

I ended up smashing my redmi note 3 special edition screen yesterday. Anyone knows the Link to purchase the screen? I have searched Aliexpress no tangible line for the special edition.

PS: the screen is still responsive anyways.

Apparently Global stable ROM got released for redmi 4A today.
I luckily had it installed quite easily via OTA, though most have issues with the update on MIUI forum.

Meanwhile, this battery is quite strong.
5 hours now and look at the battery!

streaming YouTube, Downloading apps etc. both on Wifi and Cellular data though.
