One of their branch is just below my flat. About their pay, i dont know but they change staff every now and then. Seemed ppl arent too keen on thateir job. Also i observe they lock up customers in toilets, flog customers etc. They keep shouting and cursing their customers when returns are not forthcoming. Interest rate is also high. . Infact they easily go to customer,'s houses and cart their properties for sale if they are not responding with payment within the time frame. They seem to look for ppl to work with but i guess it isnt just attractive as one may become someone else in character once u join. Bottom line is d choice is yours.

On your part, you're calling him "a friend" but complain that he doesn't "claim" you by calling you with endearing terms? Seems you're both skating around the issue. Perhaps the relationship is not clearly defined or there's reservation on your part because of his behaviour. TBH, my advice to you is to break up with this guy. This is my opinion

I cannot advise my enemy to marry a hausa Muslim because when the reality sets in she would know that love is not blind.

She better open her eyes well
Does she understand their language
Does she understand their culture
Does she understand their religion
Can she tolerate their lifestyle
Can she accept the things they do

She would be so uncomfortable during family reunion or gatherings and i don't know if hausa muslim men are actually bold enough to stand up to interfering in laws

She's d woman here..she's going to make so many sacrifices...is she ready for it?
Marriage in Africa isn't about the couples..it's about the families involved...

Let her think deeply before making this decision
