netotse:
@all the slate-and-chalk- people
he said her english is terrible, he didnt say she's an illiterate! esp since there are many educated nigerians that cant string proper sentences together. . .sometimes i'm tempted to think NL is their headquarters sef

@all the till-death-do-us-part people
he didnt say he was thinking of getting a divorce did he?

@all the so-what people
so he shouldn't try to do anything about it abi? wot if he's running for gov later in life and during his campaign she comes out and says 'i will always does my best for the people of this state' i'm sure some of the same ppl will jump on the poor man. what if his job requires him having to attend functions with her?

@OP
in addition to some of the good suggestions, (getting novels and documentaries for her to watch) i'd recommend y'all start reading aloud to each other occasionally maybe before bedtime(if its only her it might seem 'somehow' plus the reading to each other sounds, romantic cheesy), my siblings and i used to take turns reading aloud to the family every day while we were growing up,  and i can tell you it worked wonders for my spoken engreeesh o. . .i cant fit to shout!
he should have thought of that b4 getting married to her then innit
well just tell her to keep smiling wen u 2 go out or wen she needs to address d public lol grin grin grin

Gilbert is an idiot. The way he was laughing and joking about all this was basically begging for a suspension. Between all his jokes, interviews, and twitter updates all making light of this, Stern had to suspend him.
Good call Mr. Stern. He should be expelled from the NBA IMO. But we all know that won't happen. He'll probably wind up with a year long suspension. Good for Stern though, he needs to crack down harder on his players, guns don't belong in the work place, and the NBA is no different. grin grin

H2O2:
@chiogo, i can't help it o  grin  cheesy

You're right about T-Mac (now t-crap) and Cryverson being all star game starters.
The chinese are computer nerds and t-mac plays with yao ming, so I can understand where his votes came from.
Yao would have the most votes if his name is on the ballot too grin grin what a joke
i don't know if the blame should be on the league for putting them on the ballots or on the voters for voting them in.
Undeserved.   I guess it's all for show.  Fans will always vote in the players they wanna see.
This is ridiculous. Neither T-Mac nor AI should be starting. They shouldn't even be on the roster, period! We saw last year how AI wrecked the Pistons, and he couldn't even make it with the Grizzlies! As for T-Mac, he's barely played and hasn't been a factor this year. The All-Star Game should not be a celebration of a player's career. Only THIS year should matter, and THIS year, neither T-Mac nor AI has been a factor. If Kobe were ever to suffer a real bad knee injury in the preseason and require season-ending surgery, I guarantee you he would still be the leading vote-getter in the West. Same with LeBron and the East. This just goes to show that All-Star voting is a popularity contest,
