platinumnk: Good! I would never embarass myself to be seen with a thing like you who dey send you? **breathes deeply**, you I wouldnt even look at not to talk of date, Disgusting men like you need to locked up in a zoo, you created a bashing thread? You got it, Im not a pansy chick to not give you a proper tounge lashing.
https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?action=profile;u=451825- Lets see, you're obviously living in nigeria ( not thats its bad) but you obviously look broke and busted. Your cheap shirt and watch lets me know your status and trust me, you gotta be fine as hell to be also broke to be checked up on by girls of high caliber .
The type of stuff you are wearing is something I would find in the trash Never bought stuff that tacky for my lil brother. And your barber needs new clippers.
hmmm the picture is fuzzy so u are using a web cam or some kind of cheap camera, again, tells me how cheap you are. Dont give its in 9ja crap, I gave my friend a Digital Camera, and her pictures come out sterling clear. . . Your posts reflect an inbred character, maybe you need to stay in school to finish your education, then maybe when next time I come home you can attempt to step to a chick like me.
Hmmm big hands . . the bigger the better to hide your face! You are the type I never ever could date, you cant half attempt to reach my level.
Chai, i can name 3 exs that fine pass you. And who gives a damm what you think. Attention SEEKER, you just got it!

Nairaland General › Re: Ambulance Drivers & Misuse Of Siren. by r231(mod): 8:13pm On Dec 22, 2009 |
Outstrip: It all boils down to Nigeria jaga jaga. If there is a funeral procession in the US then everyone has to let them through. You try not to cut into the procession. There is usually a limit to the cars and there is usually a county or village sticker so you pretty much know when the last car in the procession has passed. You cannot do that in Nigeria. Sticker ke sticker ni. People will just keep their own stickers in the cars and when they see a funeral procession they will stick their own on their windshield and join the procession. I am not saying that it is right to use sirens to transport dead bodies but when a corpse is going from Lagos to the east for burial I don't know how that corpse will not be rotten before it gets to the east. Like I said it all boils down to Nigeria Jaga Jaga. If the roads were perfect a car ride to the east from lagos will not take 24 hours. It would take less than 6 hours to get to the east and the funeral procession can then start at the entrance to the village. funny but true |

Health › Re: Why Is Smoking So Hard To Quit? by r231(m): 8:00am On Dec 21, 2009 |
Smoking is an addiction. The drug is nicotine and it is as bad an addiction as any other drug.
You need willpower for sure and you need the support of those around you.
It is particularly difficult to stop when smoking is part of what everyone does when you are out together.
There are no short cuts, but nicotine patches do help you to get over the addiction phase while you crack the habit and the social pressures.
If you haven't tried the patches yet I'd recommend them. |

Outstrip: Well that is your family. If you want tradition to dictate your life then that's fine. Some people prefer to be in control of their own lives. It is almost 2010 and it's about time we stopped using tradition as a crutch madam i am just talking generally about what i see and heard o. unfortunately we don't have dat issue in my family |

I am sorry for this country. How true can it be that a man charged to court on a 170-count charge is not guilty on any of the counts, this is serious. It think some people are just meant to serve as scape goat to others, Bode George have a fun filed christmas and New year. To the likes of Soludo and Ibori, enjoy while it last. Every day is for the thief, one day is for the owner. It may take a while but you will all answer for you actions. To the judges well done but remember that you have three accounts to give before God. You will surely give an account of how you miss led Nigerians. |

coolier: What tradition? The abolished one relegating women to the background or second place? Times are changing!!! Outstrip: Did tradition put food on the table? well the ones that i have seen in case the father is not around its either the uncle or any male i the family dat gives them away so i figure it has something to do with tradition and also if woman can do it i am sure my mother in law to be would have suggest that she is giving her daughter away not anybody else |

kawkab: The cost of a wedding depends on the individual concerned. I have seen cases where most men and women have insisted in having expensive wedding.
However, from what I have seen most women like expensive wedding; because they believe it is a one in a lifetime celebration. There are som many things that is also once in a life time. They would tell you they want to keep it simple, but deep inside them they want a big celebration. So they go for expensive wedding halls, very expensive ring etc.
How much you spend or how grand your wedding ceremony is does not determine the success of your marriage. Most couple plan how to spend money on their wedding ceremony and leave out how to spend money on the marriage. Most people stretch themselves to the limit in preparing for a wedding because of the unrealistic budget. So they set up different committee of friends. Committee of Friends in the Office, of Old School Mates, in the Church, etc.
No matter how much you spend your wedding would not be the best in the world neither would it be the worst. Even if your have the means, moderation should be the watchword. true |
