I suggest you don't return the baby carrier you bought cos the one that comes with the playpen is not dat strong, you will need another one as the baby grows older

The routine malaria drug in pregnancy is a single dose(3 tab) taken twice at one month interval. So you only take two doses all throughout pregnancy. It usually taken after 16weeks of preg Except you are being treated for malaria, that is when I know that you might be given such drug. For the reactions, I suggest you relate with your doctor cos swelling and itching are rarely from antimalarials. You also need to consider other drugs or food that you are on.

Good evening wonderful mothers. @deyoola, my lo also had d eye discharge thing which resolved we tried several things but finally resolved when he was 3 months. My suggestions are: get normal saline (drip) and clean cotton wool and clean as much as possible may be even 3 hours daily. Also try punctal massage : massage the area where the inner eyes touches the upper part of the nose using strokes from the inner eyes down to the side of the nose. You can do like 5- 10stokes thrice daily. Ensure you wash your hands before doing this. This is to ensure free flow of eye fluid so that it can drain into the body. Also it will prevent accumulation of water in the eyes that can become infected and then discharges.

@julie2015, I know a lot has bn said abt ur baby, my DS is now 4 months and he also had all symptoms u listed even up till now although nt as much as before. My little advice is feed I'm upright position and allow him to belch as often as possible in between meals, also don't lie him down immediately after feeding, keep extra handkerchief around when feeding and anytime you are going out. Raise the head of the bed or use pillow when he sleeps. Feed him frequently but with small amount of BM. Ensure that he doesn't rush the BM that is remove and express in a towel or cup when you feel the let down reflex because the moment he rushes it in, there is tendency to rush it out. I also tried some drugs but none seems to work so just believe that he is going to be fine.

Please my LO has had recurring rashes for the past two weeks, at first , I thought it was just rashes and I applied agnesia powder daily but it has now degenerated to tiny boils , I've seen about two on her head and her arm.

Please is there any remedy for this.

@mimzy,you can use ori and coconut oil and then apply rising raving baby powder. If it is heat rashes, you should ensure your baby puts on light clothing and ensure the room is well ventilated, if not the rashes will know reoccurring. Hope it helps, others mamas ll add theirs

How do you mean "spitting from the nose" ? stop whatever you are doing and wait it out to see if there will be any improvement. If not, see a paediatrician
