Yes, some nurses use WES. You don’t need NMCN for the evaluation, it’s just ur documents from the school that is evaluated Elevated2020: Has any Nurse used WES for credentials evaluation before?
If yes, at what point did you apply for NMCN verification for WES? |

WES will evaluate BNSc the same but if you use IQAS, it’s evaluated as two or more. I haven’t heard of any that evaluates it as professional degree except if you have MSc Gifty28: Good afternoon guys pls which evaluation body do nurses use to evaluate their degree? She should get her certificate evaluated with NNAS. If she has working experience that ll be an advantage. With this, she might be able to get into Nursing profession without much stress. She can look into registering with other easier province (ontario, Nova Scotia or New Brunswick) and then she can port to Alberta drokiri: Dear Seniors in the House. I have a family member I want to guide on the prospects of work in Canada. • She has the 3 years nursing program from Baptist Medical Center, Saki • Has the Registered Nurse registration from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. She will be coming to Alberta (Canada) soon and may not be able to go into the nursing profession straight away. I did some research about the Health Care Aide profession, and I want to see advice from anyone that has done this before. I am also open to any suggestion on an alternative career/pathway she can follow so she can work in Canada (and later follow her nursing passion when she is settled). |

No, I dont but the nursing pathway is almost the same thing in all province. You might not need to be LPN

|

Yes, evaluate your BNSc using WES and thsn choose the right NOC; this is however for the PR process. You ll need NNAS evaluation as well for the nursing pathway (to work as a nurse). saskatoonguy: so can we evaluate the Bachelor of Nursing Certificate using WES? and choose NURSE NOC Code while creating express Entry application. is that the right step? |

Canadian process as a nurse is in two pathways: Immigration and NNAS. For NNAS, you ll be asked of your education, registration and experience. You can wave the experience but it ll affect your grading/competency % afterwards. For the Immigration, you need work experience ( at least 3years). I dont know about work permit though AlorJulie: rabola1: Canadian system is on individual basis. For the nursing pathway, you have to go through NNAS, it will evaluate your work experience, qualifications and education and then compare it to Canadian standard. It doesnt matter if it is distance learning or online as far as you have the transcript, syllabus and curriculum for it.
For immigration, I can talk about the express entry, I dont know abt work permit, maybe odas can be of help
Hi @rabola1, must a registered nurse work for sometime before applying for job in Canada? Do you know?
Can a newly qualified nurse apply to work in Canada without working at the country obtained registration from for example UK?
Thank you, |

Wes evaluated it as BSc but I had a PGD which is what I added so Wes came out as two or more. For IQAS, I ended up cancelling it, I read somewhere that they sometimes give two or more and another reason why pple used IQAS was because they don’t do verification unlike WES but they were very slow. dora7891: Thank you so much I just remembered it’s not NMCN it’s WAHEB, ah the would have been a serious error.
Pls what did WES evaluate your bsc as?
The IQAS what month did you start it and has it been evaluated now? Or it still hasn’t been evaluated.
I wanted to use Wes but ppl have been saying their report is brutal and IQAS will give me two or more certificates evaluation and that’s going to give me more crs score |

I started with IQAS although later used WES as it was too slow. U only need to add ur BSc cert and the school ll send transcript. Year of entry: when u started d Nursing program For RPHN, I read that pple added it and had to go to d board in charge of the exam not NMCN and it’s quite a long process sha Not sure if they Accept statement of result dora7891: Good morning all pls pls , pls I would like to ask some questions. I’m currently filling my IQAS application for EE Canada and Im stuck. I really hope you help me pls
1. For bachelors of Nursing, I put Obafemi awolowo university, it’s saying conditional assessment that it may or may not be assessed. Do I still go ahead?
2. Does IQAS accept statement of result (school on strike and my certificate has name error)
3. I have BSC, RN and RPHN, am I to add the three to be evaluated as well?
This is how I placed them
Title: Bachelors of Nursing science Institution: OAU
Title: General nurse Institution : NMCN (Or am I meant to use oau my university) Start year; I put 2020 (the date I was Registered) End year: I put 2020 (the date I was registered) Transmission method: Email
My RPHN too was integrated with my degree, so we wrote the exam after school, I used the same details as RN Apart from the title ofcourse. AM I doing the right thing?
4. Now how then do I get NMCN to email them my transcripts, are the transcripts with NMCN? |

Jump into the pool immediately because of tie breaking rule You can edit ur profile anytime, so once TEF result is out, just update it upkay: Hello, the e-families.
My wife axed her IELTS exam as she got the result today. But I need your view on this matter.
Currently, our CRS score sum up to 455, and she has registered for her TCF exam coming up in a couple of months now.
1. Do you suggest that we wait till she gets her TCF result before we proceed to set up our EE profile?
2. I have watched a demo on YouTube to know how to set up an EE profile but I learnt that once you have set up the profile and submitted it online, it can't be edited to update anymore, unless one deletes that profile, and start to create a new profile afresh. So, if we create the profile and later plan to add her TEF result, how can one go about to update his/her profile to claim more points.
Thank you. |

Best thing is don't pull all your eggs in one basket, some trust delay more than the others, COS can be ready in 24- 48 hrs, while others can delay for like weeks or months, 3 mths, it depends on the trust if you are not satisfied with them, just keep searching for others. Greathand01: Exactly, I always check that out before applying, that's why I always wonder if they come up with sponsorship issues again... Thanks ma'am |
