Change2015: Don't change subject. A mile is a unit of measurement. If Jonathan 'boasts' of having done 25,000 miles of road, the obstacles and non-linearness of said roads is irrelevant. Jonathan produced the figure, not me or the APC! Your car has a gauge to measure the miles it traverses. How can that be so hard to understand?
#change #GMB #APC Will you shut up and stop chatting shiit, comparing distances via flight against topography influenced road construction is the height of foolishness. Taking a chopper from Ikorodu to Badagry is pretty straight forward, now take you car on a trip and tell if the distance covered will be the same I challenge you to also defend Fashola with the fact below . Governor Fashola who spoke at the official commissioning of New Plants and Equipment of the Lagos State Public Works Corporation at Oba Ogunnusi Road, Isheri added that in the last three years, 251 new roads comprising 371 kilometres have been completed within Lagos.
He explained that currently another 44 roads that will provide 77 kilometres of new roads are under construction and would be concluded within the next six months.
Governor Fashola also said in addition to this, another 60 new roads that would add 129 kilometres are under construction and would be completed beyond the six months timeline.
http://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2010/11/12/lagos-has-built-more-roads-than-ghana-sleone-%E2%80%94fashola/ Fashola has claimed he has constructed about 371 km and is hoping to increase it to about 577km. The catch here is that the flight distance between Lagos and Abuja = 536Km |

#change #GMB #APC What are you up to ? you failed to understand the import of my message, contructing roads is not a straight line graph, you will have to bypass certain obstacles which will increase the overall distance unlike using a flight route which is rather straight. You are not so smart to also believe that Fashola has constructed more roads surpassing the distance between Lagos to Abuja. |

see this yeye people, you failed to realize that urban road construction isn't like using a ruler to draw a straight line, it involves numerous twist and turns to connect two location together. As small as Lagos is, Fashola once boasted he has constructed more roads than Ghana, will you also dispute that fact simply because Ghana is larger than Lagos. Governor Fashola who spoke at the official commissioning of New Plants and Equipment of the Lagos State Public Works Corporation at Oba Ogunnusi Road, Isheri added that in the last three years, 251 new roads comprising 371 kilometres have been completed within Lagos.

Gbawe: You did well Clerverly. The truth is that GEJ is gone because majority of Nigerians want Buhari. They are only trying to delay a guaranteed because the atrocities they have committed from 2010 to date is truly horrendous and will see many of them jailed. There is no rest for the wicked and there will be no rest for GEJ and his cronies. They have ruined too many Nigerian lives with their misrule, deciet, dplicity, divisiveness and corruption See this confused flea . gbawe a few days ago penned this Gbawe: Reading the thread below made me realise that many Nigerians still do not understand Buhari's thinking about how the fight against prosecution will be prosecuted. I think some Nigerians expect a gung-ho Rambo-style fight and 'take-down' of prominent Nigerian 'baddies' perceived to be corrupt.
https://www.nairaland.com/2143063/definitely-buharis-biggest-mistake-whats
Those expecting that will be disappointed because Buhari, several times, has clearly stated his approach to corruption and it will not include wasting valuable governance time , considering how troubled Nigeria is, making his leadership entirely about going after those guilty of past corrupt practices when there is much to do in the present and future to secure Nigeria and get her on track again.
Buhari has stated that his government will "draw a line in the sand" (his words exactly) when sworn in to power as a point from which things must be done properly and the point from which stealing, corruption, criminality and impunity will no longer be condoned or go unpunished. Buhari makes it clear that the corrupt have a chance to change their ways and be part of a new Nigeria up to that "line" drawn in the sand. Buhari is not here to witch-hunt anyone . The chance is there for wrongdoers and enemies of Nigeria's progress to change their way and submit themselves to the new way of administering Nigeria.
So therefore Buhari will not reject the help of any prominent Nigerian , to include reformed wrongdoers, who are genuinely interested in working for the birth of a a new and working Nigeria. He will not come out to call some thieves, even if that is what some Nigerians want, because that is not the way Buhari has told anyone he will fight corruption. He will not, after gaining power, begin fighting everything and everyone to a standstill when that makes little sense and is counter-productive to what needs to be done to address the serious problems of Nigeria.
Everyone, even the corrupt, gets a 'fresh start' under GMB as long as they reform and accept that things will no longer be "business as usual" after May 29th. When Buhari gets into power he will, first and foremost, assess the level of damage done to Nigeria. From that point measures will be put in place to 'repair' Nigeria that will not spare any sacred cows. If any Nigerian, however highly placed, fall foul of the new way of doing things then they will be dealt with by an impartial and corruption-intolerant system that had warned everyone to reform for the better or face the consequences of their actions. This is why Buhari has told hardened wrongdoers who do not wish to change their ways to "get ready to leave Nigeria" when he becomes President. https://www.nairaland.com/2143469/buhari-fight-against-corruption-postUna dey see this man like so ? jpphilips: Going by your logic and anti hypocrisy stand, Jonathan inherited an NIPP that has a 15, 000MW installed capacity save for the transmission infrastructure that needs over hauling, do you now have steady electricity?
By that same logic, he inherited a robust banking industry, why are our bankers at home while Patience is looking forward to creating traffic warden jobs?
Why did he inherit a military that dealt a severe blow to the well trained and organized Sierra Leone military while leaving behind a military asking for help from one of the poorest military in the world to reclaim her territories?
With or without Buhari the refinery will stand, with Jonathan, all our institutions collapsed wont you say?
By the way his incompetence is disgusting. Imagine this liar, you are one dishonest fellow who loves reeling out half truth as fact. 1) GEJ added some power plant to come up with that increase in installed capacity. a capacity of 15,000 without the transmission backbone in place is nothing, it seems you are ignorant of the incumbent approach in addressing that. 2)A robust banking industry where investors fund were totally eroded and it took a 500 billion govt bail out to save them . Shioor 3) The same Military you have hypocritically called names and rubbished here consistently. The same Military the current admin is seriousy arming to meet current challenges due to the decay of the past. Asking for the intervention of neighbors to reduce cross border banditry can only be frowned upon by unpatriotic hypocrites . 4) Your Buhari hatchet job here is dead on arrival. Give it up. |

jpphilips: while responding to you, my greatest fear is that you are a Nigerian, but assuming you are human, you should know that 1975 was awarding the contract and procurement, 1976-78 was when the actual construction was done, now do you know what Buhari did? so awarding contracts and procurement are not part of the processes i mentioned. Buhari or not, those refineries will still be in place. Stop the hypocrisy of giving kudos to Buhari for feats initiated by his previous admins while foolishly blaming Jona for similar successes. your hypocrisy is nauseating. |

For the intelligent, objective and fair-minded observers, these two pastors, Bakare and Osibanjo, are not ordinary pastors! In terms of PERSONAL INTEGRITY, MORAL CLARITY, INTELLECTUAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS, STRONG AND WELL-KNOWN STANCE AGAINST PUBLIC CORRUPTION, these two pastors stand head and shoulders above most of their peers!
So it is not surprising that Buhari, who is also well-known for his personal integrity and anti-corruption antecedents, would like to pick any of these two highly respected gentlemen as his VP, and each one of them would make a perfect VP and successor to him.
In the same vein, GEJ and Sambo are a perfect match - of the clueless, I-don't-give-a-damn, stealing-is-not-corruption type! Trash !! Mr integrity gave Tinubu the ticket before the latter choice. Who do you want to deceive. |
