Tonight was fish and chips with peas. Made mayonnaise and then tartar sauce from scratch. Used Guinness stout instead of beer/lager for a deeper flavor profile hence the color.

There are never leftovers on sticky chicken night. It's always hilarious when someone eats it for the first time. They look scared, then taste it and clean the plate😂

Can you please enlighten me more about this?
Sure! A lot of premium cars in Nigeria experience issues because we only have one type of fuel here and they require premium fuel to function correctly. Octane boosters are additives that bring up the level of fuel performance to what the car requires minimizing engine and operation issues. You simply add them to your fuel tank every so often.

Sales still going. Original imported from the USA octane boosters and fuel treatments for vehicles that should be using premium fuel.

HELLO GUYS PLEASE I NEED HELP.

I RECENTLY BOUGHT A CAR AFTER SOME DAYS I DISCOVERED THAT WHENEVER I ON HEADLIGHTS THE CAR WILL OFF. I THINK ITS PROBABLY WEAK BATTERY OR ALTERNATOR NOT CHARGING.

NOW IF ITS WEAK BATTERY, WHAT ;
* PRODUCT/MODEL CAN YOU RECOMMEND FROM EXPERIENCE?
* ANY IDEA OF THE COST?
Sounds electrical. Just seeing this. You need to take it to a shop.

Tried my crêpes again. Was told that I made something more similar to chewy candy in chef class. Next time I'm reverting back to plain crêpes with no colour added and exactly what I was taught. No more being creative for a while.

I missed out on baking powder and that was the main essential. Ouch.

So, lesson. Don't skip ingredients if you're just learning something.
Actually, from what I see the batter was just too thick. Try it again as you did with less flour. Also crank up the heat some.

Sounds a bit funny, but when I was a kid, I liked to pour pap into beans, mix the two and eat.
Me too!!! I make a bean island in the ogi and mix as I go!!😀

I made crêpes for breakfast. My kid liked them because of the colours 😁

As an upcoming chef, I think I tried 🙂
Nice! Rolled up with some Nutella or fruit and 👌🏾

Thank you!! smiley

Why don't you like shrimp in the morning? I'll eat shrimp irrespective of the time of day, lol. They go well with eggs in the morning.

Does your husband like shrimp? My loctician is a Jamaican lady who doesn't like shrimp, nor seafood in general. She's also a vegetarian and doesn't eat meat. I love Jamaican food and can drive hours to get good jerk chicken with rice and peas if they've good reviews, so I know Jamaicans eat meat and seafood, but was shocked when she told me she doesn't. She's a seventh-day Adventist, however; I'm not sure if these are a part of their diet restrictions. It's rather interesting to find a Jamaican who doesn't eat seafood and meat.
I'm a shrimp fiend but my palate/stomach is not ready in the morning 😂

Rastas don't eat meat, but the seafood things is her. They're an island so the most definitely eat seafood lol

Baking day was day-before-yesterday. In addition to the usual six loaves, made some onion flavored burger buns. The doberman stole the second batch when we left them to cool😭 He definitely suffered the consequences 😡

Dinner last night. Jamaican curry chicken with herb-roasted potatoes and steamed ginger carrots. Hubby doesn't eat Irish potatoes any more because of his blood sugar so his has only sweet potatoes.

Very delicious. My first time cooking with Thai red curry paste. I look forward to making more recipes with it.
Glad you discovered it. I use mostly green, sometimes yellow myself. Thai curry is great and easy to use. Red is best for beef and the others are good for chicken and seafood.
