Yes, we eat Nigerian food too. Rice and fish stew plantain and callalloo (we're still a mixed household after all😄).

Happy new week, madam.
As for the spaghetti or macaroni, I boil for some minutes, but usually end up overboiling. Then I make sauce with garlic and Gino tomato paste, and if the sauce doesn't burn, I dump the boiled macaroni or spaghetti inside and start praying. smiley
grin

Okay for the spaghetti, first bring salty water to a boil. Then, add the spaghetti for 8 minutes then check if it is the firmness you want. Add up to three more minutes.

For a simple sauce, start with oil (olive oil is best), garlic (lots) and onion on medium heat. You don't even have to chop the onion and can put it in halved or whole.

When the onion is shiny, add tomatoes, black pepper, salt, Italian seasoning or any/mix of rosemary, oregano and basil.

If the tomatoes are really good, Gino is not needed. If they are not, use very little Gino and a little sugar.

Splash of cheapest red wine you can find is optional. So is cayenne or red pepper if you like spice.

Let boil, then lower and simmer uncovered on low for at least 30 minutes. The longer it simmers, the better it tastes. I usually go at least an hour. Let me know how it goes if you try it.

If you want to add ground meat, add it after the onions and garlic and as soon as it's all brown, continue the rest as before.

Macaroni with sardine. The sardine was actually because the macaroni tasted like sheet. Lol.
Have never been able to cook delish macaroni, spaghetti or jollof rice/fried rice.
Let's fix that. How do you cook your spaghetti?

It's 6k per crate here. I love eggs because they are really quick to cook and can be ready in as little as 6 minutes. They are the kind of food even certified idiiioots can successfully boil and eat. Sure, they are not very filling. But they make sense if you are not a big fan of cooking, like I am.
True that

At this point they are messing with me. Today's challenge was minced chicken and chicken gizzards. So, Dirty Rice. One version with brown rice and without bacon or liver for hubby and another for the rest of us.

We are liquidating rotors on our IG page and will be posting them over the next few weeks. They are all the last pair and will be first come, first serve. They are Carquest/Advance Auto Parts rotors from the USA for all brands. As I remember I'll post on the respective NL threads. We will also be releasing other parts as we get rid of old inventory to make way for new. Pick up or delivery is available.

Not sure why the house is on a fish ting recently😭

Poached grouper with pearl couscous and steamed green beans. After a bunch of cake from three birthdays in the past week, hubby has to watch the carbs. The man was competing with children for cake! 🤣

The kids decided today to play protein roulette and didn't tell me what was defrosted for cooking. I only found out when I got home that they brought out grouper fillets😂

Went completely Southern fish fry and did beer battered fish with Cajun seasoning, fried okra and hush puppies. I don't want to hear about healthy. Sebi okro is veggie 😏

Car Talk › Re: Who Knows About This Transmission Oil? by radautoworks: 8:17am On Sep 06, 2025
Grupo:
Hello guys,

So the guys at My parts NG are trying to sell me this transmission oil. As an equivalent of the Toyota WS oil. And it's even almost double the price of the normal Toyota WS (the one in a metal can) that I know.

I want to know if anyone has used this transmission oil before. And if I can use it.

See attached Pic.
Idemitsu is legit OEM transmission oil and is the same thing we sell in our USA stores. Our major competitors all sell it too. TLS-LV would be right for a 2013 Toyota Corolla as WS was phased out and superceded with TLS-LV.

I’ve shared the following product from Advance Auto Parts:
Type TLS-LV Automatic Transmission Fluid - 1 qt | https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/idemitsu-type-tls-lv-automatic-transmission-fluid-1-qt-10114-042b/11359389

Four people bawo? Please don’t be funny!

Only 2 people attended to me throughout. The girl at the desk and the light skinned guy that did the testing. Perhaps your camera needs to be changed.

He mentioned that the timing belt and the camshaft sprocket whatever needed to be changed, since those were the error codes that came up, and I asked how much those parts would cost, hence the invoice.

Also, he said apart from those parts, once they open the engine, they might see other things that could need some work too.

I’m wondering where the additional two people who explained to me came from.

Anyways, it’s all good.

Cheers.
👍🏾 Apologies you didn't get what you were looking for. Wish you the best.

Oh, and I'm female 😃

your organization could run into trouble with the government for quoting fees in a different currency. We use naira here and not dollars.
That's the problem with assumptions.

looks like chow mein or Pan-fried noodles, some type of stir fried beef/pork with onions and maybe a teriyaki sauce, some chargrilled beef/pork (probably lemongrass) and jasmine rice.
