Yam with mackerel sauce for breakfast. Almost forgot I had a whole mackerel in the fridge so I filleted it real quick (I HATE bones in yam sauce). Not big on the skin either in sauce. Saved the rest of the boneless mackerel for another day.

Made French toast with my bread for New Year's Day. Perfect match, crispy outside, chewy inside. Love the fact that someone loved bread so much and said "nah, let's cook it a second time! 🤣"

May 2026 be the year all your dreams (not nightmares o) come through 🤗

Wow..
This is the second time I'm hearing this Jamaican beef patties. This thing na meat pie na.. smiley
I was watching a culinary adventure program on Gotv and they showed this Jamaican family that have been running this shop where they make meat pie, sorry, Jamaican beef patties for generations in America. So I was like: 'no be meat pie be this?' huh grin
Now you've also called it Jamaican beef patties grin grin
Lollll they are cousins. We eat a lot of Jamaican food because my husband is Jamaican. The meat definitely tastes nothin like a meat pie though, and the crust is light and flaky not dense like meat pie. Both are good but I'm team patty🫣 middle says she didn't use all the dough so we can make four chicken patties tomorrow😄

I like how brown and crusty it looks tongue
You hardly see this kind bread 🍞 to buy. Na half-done Dem dey sell grin
Funnily I don't like it that brown myself 🫣

On another note, middle and I tried out Jamaican beef patties today. I made the dough, middle made the filling and we both assembled some. Taste 8/10, texture 9/10, presentation 🥴/10. 😆

Christmas Eve & Christmas breakfast. Restaurant experience comes in handy when you have a family of picky eaters🥲

Grandpa: regular waffles, no beef or pork and I was out of chicken sausage, soft scrambled eggs 🫤
Hubby: wheat-flour waffles, no sugar (honey), no beef or pork, very hard-fried eggs
Youngest: only likes egg whites scrambled🤢, soft bacon
Middle: eats everything like a garbage can 😆, regular waffles, likes creamy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon
Me: eats almost anything, regular waffles

😮‍💨
Artisan makes the best sausages in Lagos as far as I know. Beef, pork, chicken all available. They also do beef bacon.

Hello Guys, i am about to sell my third car and would like to get a replacement immediately, its a Honda Accord DC 2007, i want to enter the CUV/SUV line and i have 4 preferences by these rankings and i would like your expert opinions and their rankings on the fuel economy, maintenance and breaking down issues as my street road isn't in great conditions and Agindigbi Traffic,
i am a salary earner and family man of 1 kid for now
Honda CRV: 2008 - 2010
Ford Edge: 2009 - 2010
Hyundai Sante Fe: 2009 -2010
Hyundai Tucson: 2010

Appreciate the support guys
@nurey @radautoworks @heavenlybang@gacuzz
NOT THE EDGE. CRV all rounder, Tucson more stuff, Santa Fe more room but worse on gas.

Do not get cheap parts for the Honda suspension and you'll be fine on your road. Get any car checked by a mechanic BEFORE you buy it.

Necessity was the mother of invention this morning. SOMEONE didn't tell me we were out of eggs and I really craved pancakes. Found this recipe for egg-less pancakes online and honestly I might prefer them!
