Exactly what I was trying to say before some know all carried the matter for head. Just like he said some prop firms don't tolerate positions being open during news release whether it's profitable or not.


Meanwhile that of mffx has something to do with the trailing 6% which they say they calculate from the highest ever amount you made.

Assuming they funded you $5000 and you made profits up to $5500 and later start a losing streak, 6% of $5500 is $330. Meaning your account must not fall below $5170.

Violation of which they will not grant you another funded account. They encourage leaving some part of your profits in the account, yet they will take theirs complete.

Someone took $5000 close to $5500 then lost 4% (Daily DD)which is $220. They took the account from him. He not only lost his account but also lost his generated profits of about $200.

Another they accused him of using EA to trade, seized his account and denied him profits.

I can go on and on but what do I know? I suggest you join their discord community and follow complaints and their response. You will learn one or two.

I want to check out Mavin trading and see if their rules are straight forward. I believe 6% total DD and 4% Daily DD should be calculated from the default funded amount and swap free account must be guaranteed. If I see an honest prop firm that guarantees these conditions, I will get a prop account. But for now I will be watching and perhaps trying out their competition.

NB: I might be wrong but make your own unbiased enquiry. I mean well. Congratulations to all funded traders. Please make it count.

Let's see how it goes, am xoming back for more updates. Thanks house I first learnt about profirm in this group.

As for me except i win a giveaway, I'm not purchasing any challenge with 8% total DD. Never.

After going through their terms and conditions, I think Myffx seems to have the best trading conditions.

I have taken time to read all their rules.

Other no time limit firms have strict rules they don't emphasis on - but you'll find it in their terms.

Myfundedfx seems to be the only one with the most flexible rules, but their challenge accounts are a bit more expensive

scalping is the most profitable aspect of trading in my opinion. that doesn't mean I would start bashing swing traders or calling them cowards in respect to fear of losses...

we all can't see forex trading the same way

not everyone will see forex trading as a side hustle or a way to financial freedom, not everyone will see the importance of being a swing trader or scalper or the indicator you use or the trading tools or strategies you employ.

Na only scalpers fit harness the full leverage of prop accounts, but then - the chances of making consistent profit as a scalper is as slim as the head of that trader with 100% win rate
