I also included all my promotion letters and references including emails as evidence of increased salary and bonuses. *Pls use all ur bank statements but indicate which one is your salary account so that they can easily trace your salary yem-yem: |

Hello VicJustice, Please I have another issue thats needs your advice. My friend who is inviting me to the UK is a good friend of mine, we were in high school together and have maintained our relationship over the years. He is a permanent resident of the UK now. He lives alone in a 3 bedroom apart but the house belongs to his dad thus he pays no rent. His dad was based in the UK before coming back to nigeria 5 years ago to start up a business. All the papers for the house are in his father's name as he still pays the major utility bills such as electricity etc from nigeria. He is a temporary contract worker through a recruitment agency but his last contract job ended in Feb and has no payslips. The recruitment agency hasnt gotten any other job for him since then. He has however been doing Jury duty for a while and he gets a stipend as transport and feeding allowance paid in cash to him. The documents he sent to me are: Invitation letter, Internet and Telephone bills, resident permit, biodata page of passport, letter indicating that he is a contract staff and bank statement (very active but with a closing balance of -500 pounds overdraft). Should I go ahead to submit my application without the bank statement, payslips and mortgage (because it is not in his name). The only reason I am staying with him is because he has a free house and i dont have enough money to book a hotel. What are my chances? The only other person I know is my neighbour who is a student. |

Hello Vic, Justwise and all other members. I am back again. Pls I need your advice. I was just informed at work today that I am entitled to Leave Allowance of about 200k covering a period of 18months. The accountant called to ask if I want the money paid with my salary or if I want a cheque so I can pay into my savings account. Pls advice me. I am about applying for my Visa and I don't want a case of money lodgement if they pay it in my salary account. Can I just collect the company cheque and attach it in its original state to the letter of identification from my company stating that the money is my allowance? Or should I let the company credit my account with this amount then use the letter of identification (stating dat I was paid leave allowance)as support?. Thanks alot |

Thanks Vic. Pls I will appreciate if u can give ur personal opinion on the three questions I asked as I have read all thru d link u redirected me to and havent come across anywhere it was hinted that it is or it isnt shady to register my buying and selling biz two weeks to my application date to prove that d cash lodgements made on my acct are from my extra source of income. I also cant get concrete info about if 600k is alright for a 10 day visit. I earn 100k and I have been working for the past 4 and half years. I also intend adding my salary acct which has about 180k in it making all my available cash to be 780k. I wont be staying in a hotel. I will stay with my friend who is inviting me. Thanks pls reply Vicjustice: |

Dear VicJustice, thanks for all ur help and for the advice u have given people in the past. Pls i'm a novice who wants to travel to UK for holiday. My friend is inviting me. I work and earn about 100k per month. I also buy and sell anything that moves just to make extra cash. I dont know much about travelling but from what i have read so far i think i have money lodgement problem. I intend applying for the UK visa on 1st of August. And i have 600k in my acct with lump sum paid over a period of 2 weeks. My questions are: 1. Is 600k an okay minimum for a visit of 10days? 2. Can i say that d lump sum was gotten from my customers who paid for my goods which is true 3. I'm just in d process of registering my business name and i hope to get the certificate by 30th. Will it bé fishy to them saying that i registered my biz solely for d purpose of the visa application. I anticipate ur response. Thanks |
