Actually there are star systems where two stars are so close together that they touch and in some cases share a common envelop. . . It's called Contact Binary system

actually contact binaries are really small bodies, they are mostly small asteriods and comets, nt a star as big and powerful as the sun, their size range from a few hundred meters to a few tens of kilometers, nothing like the sun

For the Op. . . I think he didn't consider the Mass of the Moons compared to their respective planets. The mass of the moon compared to earth is 1/81 compared to most planets that have moons 3/10,000 mass compared to the planet...

Of course with a close relationship of mass between the earth and the moon hence the effects the gravitational pull of the moon has on the earth add another moon of similar mass to this equation, it will be catastrophic like your Op pointed out and may lead to annihilation or possible extinction of life.

I think the earth can handle another moon of far less mass but with increased activities.

yeah very good way of thinking about it, since the relatiue mass of the earth and its moon is not that much there would be significant changes when you alter anything

true...but understand that the sun is just one of over billions of stars in our galaxy,(there are more galaxies too) some of those stars are bigger than the sun,only that they are not meant for our solar system

I am not sure but it might be impossible for two suns to be that close, remember that the gravitationa forcel increases as the size of the planetary bodies increase and also increases inversely as the square of their distance of separation. F=(Gmm)/r²

So for two bodies to be "suns" they would be really heavy, and for the earth to feature both they would have to be close, increasing the gravitational pull between them, hence one of two things would occur, either one collapse into the other or they would suck up other bodies, the earlier is the most probable.

The earth does not have its own sun, it shares the one sun with rest of the planets and planetary bodies

You seem not to get my point, if a particular specie of animal goes extinct there is every likelihood that some other will follow, or another specie would become dominant, just to keep the cosmic balance, like newtons third law, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, and energy would neither be created nor destroyed but can only change form

It would be highly inappropriate to conclude that it would be all bad, talking about the increase in tide level or its instability might not be totally correct, remember that the earth was created by God (or nature if you like) and balance are always made in creation, always. So that, if there are grasses then something would depend on these grasses and the grasses on other things, there is always a balance. If we have two moons and God or nature as the case may be wants our kind of live on earth it would create a balance..

I served in Ologoghe, Ogbia LGA. The place is nothing to write home about, shared rooms, community has no light, no water, we cook with water frm the river, no toilet until we renovate one on ground, the list is endless.
But enjoyed the place tho cos of the wonderful corpers and some community peeps on ground. Even spent Xmas and New year in the sed community... Good place to learn the true meaning of leaving in an Hamlet.

some months back, i discovered but only the best book download site ever especially for programmers, i used to make use of it-ebooks.info, but they started having issues especially with their redirfct loops, then i discovered libgen.org, they have books that even one week old, they are the best as far as i am concerned

I am currently serving in otuan, southern ijaw, as far as i am concernd, it is the best place to serve, the corpers are ever friendly, you have a room to yourself, kitchen and bathroom... Its just awesome, way better than yenagoa

Nah. The success is what matters, not the number of times you tried. I tried Andela last year October, but didnt get pass the interview, although I thought I should have been selected. But I realized I wasnt getting it right. So I relaxed and re-applied for class VII, and I made it into the fellowship.

The moral of my story is, winners never quit and quitters never win. End of story.

i get ur point, but andela might not be for me, if andela would not take me because i love telecoms more than tv games or soccer, then i think you would agree with me that there is a problem, anyway shar i realy agree with the moral of your story... Thank you

I got a 55.34% I am keeping my fingers crossed, for those who had 75%, I wonder how you did it, for the 64 questions, you have less than 12 seconds per question which is not even enough for reading most of the questions, I envy you guys really...

Yeah, only 5 questions were repeated and you had a score of 76%. Good points!.

I wrote the test and am very sure more than 20 questions were repeated...
