I have read much of what Hardmirror has to say. Like him I do not believe in God though I have never subscribed to pentecostal Christianity. I read many significant bible stories before the age of nine. Even at that age I realized that God did not answer my prayers the most usual one of which was that my mother would forget to give me my regular dose of caning( I was one of those kids that got it at least 3 times a week and sometimes daily.
I find Hardmirror to be overly provocative for one who once was a Christian and wonder why.

I have a few questions for him though by way of debate.

How would he define morality
and where does an atheist get their morality from?

morality is subjective...
Morality is societal...i.e gotten from the society..
man should act morally because the course is bigger than just one man...survival is inevitable..so morality is necessary

Christians believe other gods exist, because they were instructed not to serve them, and you cant possibly serve something that is inexistent.
Hence they believe in One true God, and serve only Him. but this does not Stop them from aknowledging thé existence of other gods even though they do not serve them.

Whether you call it monotheism or polytheism, thé fact still remains that, the above is the sum up of christians view on God as well as other gods.
