All that caught my attention in your post is that of the dailymail being a respected site. No one in the UK takes them seriously as they are known for their junk journalism.
Its definitely not a respected online news site/paper.

That's one among many of the testimonies I used to find extremely weird and ridiculous.

Even when I was a believer, it weird me out when people give testimonies on even trivial stuff like success in exams or even getting a job they are not qualify for. I normally thought to myself that if god is actually responsible for my consistent success in every examination that I sit for, than maybe he should spare his miracles on me on that regard and allow me to fail the exams and channel the miracles to million of children dying from malaria and hunger.

When you try to question stuff like that, focks will result to saying that god works in mysterious way. How sad.

And then the diabetes u r even mentioning is part of the pestilences that has become even more rampant as prophesied. 200 years ago, diabetes was rare.
And modern medicine has nothing to do with the prophecy. The prophecy only foretells the occurrences and the fact u mentioned HIV goes ahead to corroborate the prophecy of an outburst of different pestilences.

I agree that Life span is improving, but no one can deny the obvious outburst of diverse kinds of sicknesses that was prophesied.

If not, then the rising population means nothing, the same link you provided also gave reasons for the increment of religion over atheism, as Muslim countries have a higher birthrate thanks to polygamy and lack of family planning, while most atheist live in countries with a declining population such as China, Japan and most European countries.
