Lying, old and wifeless cultist

Soyinka, continue to dance naked in the world scene and keep humiliating yourself the world over.

You have now become a serial wanderer, moving from one country to another and dictating for them on how they run their affairs.

I think this guy is sick and needs psychiatric help.

He claims he tore his recoverable green card. Now he wants to conduct his own burial while still alive.

He has gone beyond tipping point. I hope this is not one of his unserious drama.

So shameful!

Revered playwright and Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, says he will hold a private funeral on January 20 when United States President-elect, Donald Trump, is inaugurated as President.

Soyinka, who spoke in Lagos on Monday, explained that the funeral is not to mourn with the citizens of the US over their choice of president but to mourn the death of Nigeria’s common sense.

“Our common sense is totally lost. I am embarrassed sometimes that I occupy the same nation space with some people,” he said.

He also said Nigerians did not have the right to query his personal decision to tear his US green card.

Politics30 Billion Loan: Sanusi Comes Hard On Buhari by rapistomenka(op): 5:45pm On Dec 02, 2016
…Says you can’t pay back before 2019 By Chris Ochayi ABUJA – The Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Friday, cautioned President Mohammadu Buhari against taking the $30 billion foreign loan proposed by the administration, saying there was no guarantee the loan would be repaid in the remaining two years in the life of the administration.

Sanusi, who spoke at a one-day dialogue forum organised by the Savannah Centre for Diplomacy, Democracy & Development (SCDDD) supported by Ford Foundation, in Abuja, advised the government to be focus and make more investment in the economy instead of seeking for foreign loan. The Emir, who however said he was not totally against the government’s asking for foreign loan, suggested instead that, “If we can get it at concessionary it is good,” adding, “But if you want to get the money, the government should look elsewhere.” Sanusi who said “Let me make this issue clear, I will be happy if they get the loan to invest in the power sector, energy and road,” however, expressed concerned that, if the government would pay back the $30 billion in two years even though they cannot raise $2 billion after two years in office. According to him,

“If we cannot raise $2 billon in two years and you want to borrow $30 billion in two years to the end of the life of the administration. The government should rather pay more attention to investment and support the private sectors to grow the economy”. “The economy that has five exchange rates can’t borrow $30 billion. They can’t lend you the $30 billion when you have five foreign exchange rates and with the current bombing of oil pipelines by the Niger Delta militants. So, on which foreign exchange rate can you get the loan?”

He said the nation’s foreign exchange lacks credibility, thus federal government needed to embrace private sector investments as means to grow the economy out of recession. Sanusi emphasised that oil cannot help the nation out of the current economic situation and it would “never make Nigeria ‎rich.” He noted that the country’s population continued to grow to over 40 million people since 2015, yet government found it hard to increase capital expenditure.

Why this high-handedness? There will never be any unrest in that region if the Army stays away. It is only when they hold peaceful protest that army shoots at them, then they retaliate. Stay away so that peace will reign, if you must stay around to ensure peaceful protest, there is no need for heavy deployment and shooting at unarmed protesters.

There is war at North East, boko haram are unfinished. Cowards!

Oluwole Soyinka is a lying old son of a cultist... and a fraud.

He said, "watch my #WOLEXIT on Jan. 20th" and now claiming he has tossed away his Green Card, what a sham and a clown.

Oluwole Soyinka boxed himself into a corner and has finally realized his folly would've earned him prison term in America so, he has chickened out as expected of his cowardly Yoro ethnic group.

The old clown should be ignored, this is only a face-saving way to bulk under public gaze cheesy cheesy cheesy

We wont be surprised if we hear that he has gone back to USA to live again. cool

Nigerian Nobel prize-winning author Wole Soyinka said Thursday he has fulfilled his pledge to throw away his US residency green card and leave the country if Donald Trump won the presidential election.

Shortly before the vote, Soyinka had vowed to give up his permanent US residency over a Trump victory to protest against the Republican billionaire’s campaign promises to get tough on immigration.

“I have already done it, I have disengaged (from the United States). I have done what I said I would do,” the 82-year-old told AFP on the sidelines of an education conference at the University of Johannesburg.

“I had a horror of what is to come with Trump… I threw away the (green) card, and I have relocated, and I’m back to where I have always been” — meaning his homeland Nigeria.

The prolific playwright, novelist and poet won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1986 and has been a regular teacher at US universities including Harvard, Cornell and Yale.

At the same time he said he would not discourage others from applying for a green card.

“It’s useful in many ways. I wouldn’t for one single moment discourage any Nigerians or anybody from acquiring a green card… but I have had enough of it,” he said.

Soyinka, one of Africa’s most famous writers and rights activists, was jailed in 1967 for 22 months during Nigeria’s civil war.

He was reported to have recently completed a term as scholar-in-residence at New York University’s Institute of African American Affairs.

I believe this is personally directed at the inventor of cultism and runaway/fugitive white bearded Nigerian busybody taking refuge in US.

Wole Sonyinka is a naive shallow minded educated Nigerian man but an illiterate by American standard.

USA is not a nation as NIGERIA where the people and leadership abhor integrity and embrace corruption!.

America is a democracy where the rule of laws are observed by every individual no matter your statue!

Wole Sonyinka should surrender his green card to US Homeland Security before been forced by law to do so!

I am ready to go to court in America to enforce the law against Wole Soyinka.

Green card is a privilege offered by the State an not a right!

He posted this on his Twitter handle on Tuesday.

“Nobody should be allowed to burn the American flag - if they do, there must be consequences - perhaps loss of citizenship or years in jail!,” he said.

ABUJA—TWENTY- three years after the annulment of the June 12, 1993 presidential election, supposedly won by late business mogul and candidate of the defunct Social Democratic Party, SDP, Chief M.K.O. Abiola, National Chairman of the party at the time, Chief Tony Anenih, has said Abiola refused to heed his warning not to declare himself president.

Anenih, who revealed this in his autobiography, titled My Life and Nigerian Politics, said: “ I wish he had listened to my advice not to declare himself president of this country. ‘’If he did, I believe he would, in all probability, still have been alive today. Frustration arising from the collapse of his scheming drove him into the extreme step which, in the end, set up a chain of events that ultimately cost him his life.’’ According to Anenih, after declaring himself president, Chief Abiola was detained and efforts were made to secure his release, but his friend, late General Sani Abacha, refused.

He noted that Abacha wrote, saying “The case of Chief Abiola who is standing trial for treason has gone widely distorted in the orchestrated campaign to mislead the world. ‘’An act of treason is as serious as it is grievous. It is an assault on one’s fellow citizens. Those who describe Abiola as a political prisoner seek to trivialize the grave offence for which he is charged…” Chief Anenih, who was Chairman of Board of Trustees, BoT, of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, also revealed that late General Shehu Yar’Adua played a significant role in his life, adding that the late general and politician made him what he is in politics today.

“Any account of my role in Nigeria’s political centre stage cannot end without a discussion of my relationship with Shehu Musa Yar’Adua. ‘’As I indicated earlier, it was Shehu Yar’Adua who made me what I am in politics today. While he was alive, he was a good leader, a strong politician who was ready to do anything to achieve success in politics as he did in the army.” he said. In the 257-page book, made up of eleven chapters, appendices and colourful pictures, Chief Anenih opened up on what took place and the political intrigues that characterized the political scene at the time.
